Excellent service from Andre. Purchased the Transporter over the telephone as it was nearly new. Took the train from Manchester, Andre collected me from the station. When I arrived at the showroom the van was as perfect as described, valeted and ready to go. A simple signature and I was on my way, appreciated with the drive home I now had to make. What can I say about Andre I must have called into the Colindale show room numerous times prior to ordering. Andre was always smiling and very helpful. I’ve dealt with quite a few dealerships over the years and I’ve got to say Citygate Van centre Colindale is up there with the best if not the best I’ve come across. Andre in sales was absolutely faultless. He made me very welcome the minute I walked through the door but at the same time wasn’t in anyway pushy. I never felt any of Andre’s answers to my questions were misleading or unjust. What impressed me most which I’ve found frustrating at other dealerships is the razor sharp quickness that calls were returned even days after I’d purchased the van. Very friendly and helpful admin staff. Gearbox guy also very professional and concerned. I needed a new clutch plate which was supplied free. I was also given 20% labour discount. The only small problem was that a mechanic forgot to look into the (unrelated) dash error message.

Excellent service from Darren Harrison when buying a California camper. Darren took time to find answers to our questions before we visited the showroom, at the showroom Darren made sure that other Citygate staff were on hand to assist with our purchase. Andre was very professional and engaging when we made a cold call to enquire about a used (nearly new) California Ocean. Despite torrential rain, he brought the van into the service bay and gave a full and knowledgeable demonstration. We returned the next week for a test drive, where we felt comfortable in going for a long drive, even up to the A1 dual carriageway and on small country roads. The decision to buy was down to Andre's detailed answering of all questions without pressure selling. His customer service skills helped making the whole purchase and handover a stress free experience. The passion, knowledge and understanding of my needs that Andre demonstrated was without doubt instrumental in my decision making when buying my Volkswagen California. The lovely thing about VW Colindale is that you feel like you are dealing with real people rather than sales people. Andre, Ali, Gary and Toby couldn't have been more helpful or gone more out of their way to take the stress and hassle out of the buying experience.
