This was my first experience with Formula One Autocentres in Maidstone. It was a big thing for me as I’m undergoing medical treatment, so I wanted somewhere easy and reasonably priced. Very very impressed with the service took great care of my car and very courteous to me would not hesitate to recommend.

Bought a little run around only to find numerous faults with it one week later. Went to F1 Maidstone and was dealt with drew I believe his name was. Absolutely brilliant, he investigated the issues without charging, then arranged the repairs quickly and very reasonably. His honesty and approach is refreshing from a garage and I have already booked in for a service. F1 Maidstone and Drew (I think his name was) are a credit to their industry. Couldnt recommend them more.

Tyres were a good price. Waited for almost an hour after my appointment time before work started with no explanation. TPMS was not reset so both tyres that were changed were showing as flat. Cheap enough but maybe that's reflected in the slow service....

Warning light indicated loss of tyre pressure. Decided to head straight for F1 as they have been so helpful in the past. They were very busy but said they would take a look. Within 25 mins I was back on the road clutching a very sharp 'shark tooth' shape stone. Brilliant service!

Service was incredibly slow, considering I was booked in for 2 tyres at 10am, I didn't get the car back until 11.30am. I could see that the fitters were doing other things whilst my car was on the ramps and not working on my car. Also caused some minor damage to the wheels and didn't refit the silver valve covers that the car had when it came in. Online price was good though.

As part of a full service the Cam Belt was scheduled to be replaced, (Mileage and age) and is an expensive item on its own! 2 Hours after leaving receive a phone call telling me the Cam Belt is fine, and does not need replacing, saving shed loads of expense. How many Garages would have done that! Really deserves a 5 star mention, and thank you.

I was getting 2 tyres fitted - best price by far. They ask you to be there 10 mins before appointment; however I was bang on time (so effectively late) The manager was on the phone and didn't acknowledge me (but a mechanic did and told me his boss was on phone) So by the time I was seen it was nearly 10 mins after the booked time. Manager told me to sit in waiting room and a mechanic would be on the job as soon as one was available. That took another 30 mins. All in all the service was courteous and efficient but time wasting for me. I think the manager could have offered some sort of apology for the time it all took; he didn't comment on my time of arrival.

Very easy to book MOT online through their website. Very competitive on their price. I dropped my car off at 10:30 as I work just around the corner and got a call around an hour later telling me they had finished a my car had passed. Would highly recommend using Formula One Autocentres based on my experience.

Initially called in to ask for tyres to be checked & not that helpful. Told they would need at least a couple of hours. Subsequently just booked online to replace all 4 tyres as that was the best price. Probably resulted in changing some of them a bit earlier than required. In my opinion by far one of the best autocentres around for everything from a new tyre to a full service and MOT. As a woman I have often felt intimidated taking my car into a garage for repair but have always been treated with courtesy and respect at Formula One and I've never felt like I've been ripped off. Prices are reasonable and a bonus is the no interest payment assist which really helps if you're handed a big bill along with your repaired car. Highly recommended.

Had two new tyres fitted which was carried out all ok however, when booking the appointment I was told to be there 10mins before and then had to wait around an hour and 30 mins for this to be done. Would have been a nice personal touch to have fitted the spare back in the boot rather than just dump it back in. The online booking was quick and easy.

We always go here for our MOTs and we've never had a problem before. The staff are honest yet don't rip you off. There's a waiting room there with comfy seats and a TV but its also surrounded by glass/acrylic windows- and that means you're actually sitting in the workshop and can see what'sgoing on with your car. So if you want to you can watch your car go through its MOT or whatever it's been brought in for. We've done it a couple of times out of interest and it is it actually quite reassuring to see them go through all the points of your car etc. A couple of times we've been there and they've had half price discounts for MOTs that we've found online too, which is always a bonus!! If there's something you need to get fixed they'll always be honest with pricing, they don't overcharge with timing/labour really either, although we all know labour is the real expense when coming to fixing our cars, but here they try to do it as quickly as possible! I've never seen an unhappy customer whilst I've been in there and that's pretty good going in a place like that, as usually with mechanics they're swamped with unhappy customers not wanting to pay for labour etc. We also get our tyres done here too usually, as we've always found them to be the best and cheapest. They're quick to change them too. They'll always do what you want, so if you want the cheapest option then they'll find that for you whether that's the best remoulds or new ones, if you want the best brand, they equally have those too. Either way they're always willing to help. The guy behind the counter is always very well presented, very polite and friendly too. So with all this brought together, this is why we choose Formula One Autocentres for our car.

Same as others, the tyres I ordered over the internet were fitted efficiently once they started, but I had to wait 2 hours before this! Not good enough, you should be able to book a 1 hour time slot before you get there. Also cost of tracking adjustment is ridiculous.

I shopped around and found that tyres are all pretty much the same price everywhere, however i got a premium brand for a few quid cheaper here. i got a 1 hour pre booked time slot so popped over to matalan and came back to all done.job done.Happy customer

Took the wife's car for its first MOT yesterday, passed but was advised that it would need 2 new front tyres, don't need them now but the mileage use you wont need them till next year, to day it went for its last service with Nissan you need new front tyres i explained we dont at the moment as they have plenty of wear left, they will not see me again for any kind of service i will be using Formula for that. Was not to happy when had an Master Service for a Peugeot 107, especially when I had to pay for a oil upgrade because I was told they do not have my oil, but my car has had two small services before at the same place and never been charged before. Also changing three sparks plugs I thought was expensive nearly £60. Been using Formula One for a few years now but I will looking at other places now to service my car.

Good place and handy location too. Unfortunately they did overbooked and, my MOT and service had to be split over two days which was a little annoying as I was without a car for two days instead of one, but they contacted me with enough forewarning to be able to organise alternative transport.

Booked my car for a service at Formula One. Although the staff were friendly when I dropped off the car and prompt in servicing my car they seemed to almost find any fault possible on my car to try to get my money. I decided to take my car elsewhere to be checked to be told half the things they quoted did not need to be done. Additionally, for all the work they said my car "needed" they quoted £790 however when going elsewhere I was quoted £350. I shall not be using Formula One again.

Had some problems with a cracked locking wheel nut key and so there was an all day delay, but the staff were great and got the locking nuts removed without the key FOC and sourced replacement nuts which were a dealer only part. TBH I was pretty fed up but and potentially there could have been a row but their attitude and diligence ensured that I will be back again in the future.
