Because of this obviously I was not expecting to be offered the full valuation offered on the website. I thought the on site valuation was fair considering the condition and Dave (at Maidstone,) was helpfull and friendly. If you are using this service you need to understand that your vehicle has to be as described to achieve the on line valuation. This service is for your convenience and has to make a profit. If you want top dollar then sell private and put up with all the hassle that goes with it..
C.Slashed valuation of 1125 to ~700 despite saying on the phone that they account for the fact it's an old car so minor wear and tear shouldn't have much effect. If you walk away they will probably come back to you in a few days and offer more so I'd try this if you're local. Assume they deliberately offer way more than their competitors to drag you in and pull this, try one of the others and their estimate is probably closer to what webuy will offer. Guy was nice and the service was quick and convenient.
The offer to charge you £50 for faster payment seems like trying to prey on people who are not well off
