We bought a Range Rover Sport Autobiography from Jaz at the Williams Group Ltd, and I have to say, despite them being over 4+ hours away from us, the experience was well worth the travel. We dealt with Jaz from start to finish and that personal 1:1 customer care did make all the difference. We were sent a video of the car, left a deposit and made arrangements to collect it, even down to them picking us up from the train station. Upon collection we were not disappointed! The car was immaculate (as per the video), and everything was as promised and agreed. We were given a first class service from Jaz and the team, and I would highly recommend using the Williams Group Ltd, no matter where you are in the Country. You certainly won't be disappointed! I recently bought a car from The Williams Group and dealt with Jaz, who covered everything from my first phone call enquiring about the car through to the point I happily drove away with the car. It was nice being dealt by one person as it had a personal touch to buying the car. The process was easy and Jaz dealt with everything, including 2 new tyres that were needed and were the brand of my choice. Customer service was brilliant and I couldn't fault my experience dealing with Jaz and The Williams Group. Although the dealership was not close to home (4hrs+ away), I would not let distance detour you from buying from this dealership. I was very happy with the car I bought and the pricing was extremely competitive. Great company to purchase from and I would highly recommend!

Worth travelling for! (I bought my RS3 back in November and have only just got round to writing this review sorry.) Right, I had an excellent experience buying my RS3 from Chris at Williams Group, friendly and professional, fantastic advice and great communication throughout. I found the car on Autotrader and called up for more information on a Saturday morning. I spoke to Chris who was very knowledgeable and informative. There was never any pressure, it was like ringing a pal for a chat. Chris at the time was very busy, in the process of handing over a car to a customer, but he kept ringing me back when he had the opportunity, excellent customer service. By the end of the morning I decided to put a deposit down and progress with the purchase of the car. It was a 4.5hr journey for me door to door, so had my fingers crossed that the car would be just as described and photographed. I can only say that it was so much better! I had opted for the ceramic coating and interior protection on offer, and it was worth it completely. The car looked amazing inside and out, almost like a new car, it was presented impeccably. I also went for the 3yr warranty, I found it was reasonably priced and it made sense to get when spending so much on a car. Along with the car looking amazing, a friendly welcome on arrival and an impressive array of other vehicles available already made me want to return again in the future. When I got home I found that the puncture repair cannister (supplied instead of a spare) had gone out of date, and the first aid kit was due to go out of date in the same month. After a quick call to Chris he arranged for replacements to be posted up. Do not let the location deter you from buying one of the cars from Williams! The journey is easier than you'd expect. I travelled down from the North West; boarding a train at Crewe station at 9am down to Euston, walked straight on to the tube to london bridge, here a 10 minute wait before I got the SouthEastern service to Tonbridge station, then chaged platforms here to again walk straight on to another train to East Farleigh. From here it was a 25minute scenic walk with great views. My ticket was £48, on a Saturday morning, much less than I expected, and a much easier journey than I could've imagined. 4.5hrs door to door - it is definitely worth the journey down, their stock of other cars looked fantastic, don't be put off if the garage isn't round the corner from you! I'll definitely return in the future and I still keep an eye on their stock list incase anything comes up that takes my fancy. I would definitely recommend buying a car from here, it would even be worth calling Chris if they havent got exactly what you're after, I'm sure they could find it! I purchased my RS6 from here and dealt with Chris Moseley. From the initial appointment to collecting the car... they were simply brilliant. After collecting the car i noticed about a week later there was a problem with the front shocks, they had started to mist. Chris arranged for the RS6 to go into my local Southend Audi Dealership and they paid for 2 x Brand New Front Shock to be fitted by Audi at a cost of around £2,500... Nothing was too much problem. The car was exactly as advertised and only required an oil change, which I was notified about before purchasing the vehicle. Added to the friendly service was a 3 year nationwide warranty option, which I opted for, and is something that doesn’t come with many used vehicles that have done more than 50 000 miles! I wanted to buy a BMW. After a lot of searching, I found a 5 Series in very good condition and phoned up to only be told that they had taken a deposit on it. I was absolutely gutted. About a week later, I found out the person who wanted to buy it couldn't complete the transaction. Chris had told me that the car was in high demand so the next morning I set off at the crack of dawn from the other end of the country and took the long journey up to Maidstone where the dealership is based. When I entered the building, I was greeted by a woman who gave me the keys and let me have a look around the car. About 10 minutes later, Chris arrived and instead of showing us around the car and telling us about it, he went inside his office and started drinking coffee. When negotiating the price, he was very abrupt and stern and refused to take a single penny off the asking price. He took a £500 deposit off me and I went back home which was on the other side of the country. A week later, I went back to collect the car and when I pressed the key, the car didn't open. This was very odd as the other key worked. When I did get the car open with the other key, the tank of diesel was almost fully dry and just about got me to the petrol station. After all that hassle, at the moment the car seems to be alright. Be wary of the dealer and go in at your own risk although you should be fine.

Bought a 2017 jaguar F Pace v6 S off these guys and I'm very pleased with the car and the experience. They appear operate more as a trade dealership which wasn't a problem for me as the car was well below book although they don't service it or do a full valet before sale. That wasn't an issue as even after getting it serviced and professionally valeted the car was still cheap. I dealt with Jaz who was very knowledgeable and honest and was sent loads of pictures and videos before I made the journey up from Bristol. I also paid for a 3 year warranty that is underwriten by them for peace of mind.

Very good experience. I bought an S5 in April and have been very happy with the service they have provided. I'm not one for pushy sales tactics having worked in sales myself and was very pleased to be given a lot of room and time with a friend to thoroughly look over the car. Justin was available to answer any of our questions and brought over a mechanic for some technical questions for certainty. He even let us compare my one with another one on site to make sure I was happy with it's condition. We were allowed to go for a decent test drive and then approach the sale in our own time. I was given clear info and advice on the warranty, nobody tried to push it on me, in fact I was given the T&Cs to take away with me and decide later. There was a technical issue post sale with the car and one I honestly don't think anyone but the everyday driver of the car would have noticed, but Justin, Tony and Frankie have all been very accommodating, a pleasure to deal with and sorted it all out whilst keeping good continual communication too. I have not been the easiest customer either and been quite picky. Honesty surprised to see some of the poorer comments on here, so perhaps there have been some management changes or demanding/rude customers. Love the car, I feel like I got a good deal and service (continued service) and would buy another from them. Working for a big company, I am happy to recommend these guys to my colleagues.

Buying a car becomes a very pleasurable experience through Williams Group I purchased a Lexus earlier this week and drove to the Kent site to collect the car. The welcome was good but the reception and service was exemplary. Justin and Frankie deliver customer care with astonishing detail and friendliness and beyond anything ever experienced. The car was presented very professionally with attention to every detail being clarified and certified. The documentation was completed very fast and the after sales service is already proving to be the best I have ever encountered (having controlled businesses in over 75 countries). Great experience, great service and a very trustable company. I recently bought a 2016 Volvo V40 from Abdul at the Williams group and my experience with him from the start has been incredible. When I first inquired about the car he was able to answer all my questions there and then, any that he didn't know he said he'd find out and call me back, and he actually did the same day! He did not skip around the fact that was priced competitively as it is in need of it's next Major service and Cambelt swap or the fact that it has two recalls from Volvo and the car was was exactly as described over the phone and by Abdul and the collection process being click and collect was flawless. I really can't thank Abdul enough for his attentiveness and care when selling me my new car, having had a bad experience with a dealership a couple of years ago he understood my concerns and explained why that wouldn't happen with Williams group and left me very reassured by the end of our phone call leaving no stone unturned in terms of questions about the car, the company and terms and conditions. A real car sales enthusiast, asset to the team and a great example of how all dealerships should go about their customers. I brought my present car a Range Rover Sport from Williams Group Maidstone in November 2016 the sales person was Frankie a very nice lady that was extremely helpful and gave me a lot of assistance she made the whole experience very easy and no pressure. At the time I pointed out that the rear tyres were getting a bit low so they agreed to put 4 new ones without any question even though the ones on the vehicle were still road worthy. Not what I have come to expect from a second hand car dealer. She suggested but did not push it that I take out Car Warranty Insurances since repairs on a Range Rover can be expensive also the fact that I would have peace of mind for 3 years great thanks Frankie. However I now come the best bit in January 2018 I had a wheel front bearing collapse so I got hold of the insurance company only to be told that it was invalid due to having a service done a month late. I argued this but to no avail it seemed that I had miss read my service history at the time of buying the car . I rang Williams and luckily it was answered by the Sales Manager Justin Crane I explained the problem and he stated that he would look into it and get back to. True to his word I got a phone call the next day from Justin, he had looked into the case and while it was true that I had over run and was out of time with my servicing he said he could see how the miss understanding had come about and he took it upon himself to make contact with the Insurance group and sort out the problem. I am happy say that they have now agreed to pay for the repair and it is all sorted out. I was very very surprised that I got so much assistance and that a Second Hand car dealer was prepared to see it from a customer’s point of view. All I can say is thank you Justin I will be back to Williams when I change the car in 18 months, I recommend Williams to all my friends and to any one that takes the trouble to read this. A breath of fresh air and show that you can trust some second hand care dealers

Vast car site in the Kent countryside. I was very interested in a car and made an appointment to visit the following day. I was asked to pay a £500 deposit although the appointment was less than 24 hours away. I was assured it would be refunded if I didn't buy the car and they were true to their word as the car although looked good was totally unsuitable for me. I have given the 3 stars really because of the compulsory deposit which was and still is new to me. I would not hesitate to visit them again if they had the car I wanted.

I spend 2 hours getting the grime from off the seats and picking out vast amounts of dog hair. Recently bought a car here, a pleasant unpushy sales style, went for a test drive on my own ( which I a nice way to do it) I didn’t take out their warranty and after 3 days wish I had. A turbo pipe blew, happy to say that there was no fuss from the company. I had it fixed at a local garage to me and they covered the cost. I kinda expected this to happen, but some garages would just say the car was sold as seen and as no warranty was taken it was my problem. Will be buying here again as and when and will be recommending them !!

I carried out a search on Autotrader for a car with specific requirements to fit my 'needs'. I really wanted a car with all the luxuries you could possibly ask for. The car that came up on my search was a Jaguar X-type listed by The Williams Group and pound for pound, could not be matched in terms of sheer value for money. I went to see the car and the staff were really friendly. I was allowed and trusted to take the car for a test drive by my self which personally was surprising to me. I didn't know the area so was advised where was good to go and where I wouldn't get lost so really got a feel for the car without feeling any pressure or biased information from a salesman. I was allowed to take my time and the salesman asked me how the car was for me and I was genuinely impressed by it. There was much deliberation on my side due to affordability and long term feasibility especially what with going through a finance company where the interest was in fairness quite high. After a while I rang the guys and broke the news to them that I couldn't buy the car however they was under the impression I was going to collect the car because of what the third party company had told them. So there was a bit of a dispute there but afterwards I was advised to put things in writing and my requests for followed up by he management and in the end matters were sorted fairly. I can tell there is a lot of passion and care that goes into this business. Things are done properly as as they should be. Everything is highly valued and the cars represent the value. I can genuinely say I would choose to source a car through TWG or at least consider what was available within their fleet in the future when the timing is better for me.

I first came across what I thought was a stunning example of a 2009 Mercedes Benz SLK 280, on the Williams Group website at the beginning of April 2019 - upon making known my interest in the car I was sent 2 freshly-shot videos (thanks again, Frankie) that showed the vehicle inside and out, including the operation of the retractable roof. A week later found me at their premises, having flown to Gatwick from Edinburgh, then onto East Maidstone in the train, arriving at noon. They use a simple, but functional, building as their office - which is likely why they are able to operate successfully in a competitive industry. I was patiently guided through every aspect of buying the vehicle - it was a truly very refreshing experience - no hard sell - plain English. I bought the car, invested in a Mechanical & Electrical warranty and also a paint protection warranty, and drove the car, North, with great glee towards its new home in Edinburgh. The only difficult part was in persuading my bank to realease the funds (which is another story on its own). I cannot recommend Williams Group Ltd highly enough. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly, and every question was answered, regardless of how obscure they may have sounded. My wife purchased a Mini Roadster from Williams Group in April. We dealt with a gentleman called Jaz who said to come back to him if we needed anything replacing (like tyres) as he could get us a much cheaper deal than on offer on the high street because they "were replacing parts on cars all the time". That sounded sensible. The car came with one tyre which was nearing the end of its life so a couple of months later we decided to replace it; however when we called we were told Jaz had not told the truth about the additional customer service we would enjoy and had in fact left the company because of exactly this. Not great but I guess s**t happens. Then we subsequently found that the air conditioning didn't work (not something you can easily test in April) so called again. In this situation we expected a little more support but were told "not our problem". It wouldn't have cost Williams much to regas the aircon so that was a little disappointing. Apart from that they sold us a sound car which was an excellent purchase. To summarise, the cars seem good value and provided you don't expect the best customer service, not a bad company to use when purchasing your replacement vehicle.
