Went to look at a mini for my girlfriend and received some of, if not the best service I've had when buying a car. Abdul is a credit to Arnold Clark. Wasn't pushy and made us feel very comfortable when going through the process. The showroom staff were all very helpful, polite and courteous towards us and made us feel welcome. Would highly recommend the place to buy or part ex a car.

Review is only for Parts dept as all other services has been very good & positive. Went in to order a new key. It was agreed they needed to order a code card & then they would order the key & call me to book in the car to be coded up. Waited over 2 weeks for them to call me, before I called them. The reply I got was did I want the key as well! WHAT I THOUGHT! Anyway they ordered it, booked it & sorted. Was driving away when realised I hadn't been given the code card which I had to pay £28 for. Went back in & it was sat in a try in the Parts office with a bunch of others. Apparently they save them up & send the out in one go. Think it would have been more efficient to give it to me when the key was provided. Maybe I have my female thinking head on!

A big shout out for Gorton`s own (Poets corner) Massive Spar. Aka, Adam Senior. Humourous and likable young man. I decided to sell my car, booked a valuation, got exactly what they daid I would get, plus ADD500. Arnold Clark have always been that little more generous than other dealers when it comes P/X in my opinion. Very quick and easy, no hassle, no haggle, and no baffle just good straight honest business communications. Well done to Adam, he`s a good lad, honest, and he`s sick yea!!.innit spar.

Cant say anything bad about the service dept they were good to deal with... I will say that they did wash my car (which I did agree to) who wouldn't..? But they did use a big daft brush on it and left swirl marks all over it, will have to polish it again, so would recommend you opt out, unless you're not bothered

Booked appointment 3 weeks in advance to get courtesy car. to be told day before none available. I still kept appointment on time as arranged the day before. no one in dealership to book it in as was 730 am for the appointment they confirmed knowing no one would be there. When I booked it in i was waiting 40 mins then told part had not arrived. Saving grace was the service manager Martin he arranged everything for the day after and got it in as soon as I arrived so wouldn't be waiting that long. not the best experience having waited weeks to get in for part not to be there.. badly organised.

Friendly from the off Laura elicited as much information as she could. Explained what it was going to cost and what was going to happen. Three hours later technician 'phoned me with result. We came to a decision of a plan of action. Next morning Laura 'phoned with result and I went to collect the car. Although not happy with the outcome, (not the fault of Arnold Clark in any way) Laura explained there was a fault on a speaker but other than that everything was good to go. I was given a small discount, car had been cleaned and Laura escorted me to my car. (A lovely touch. Thanks Laura)

Love Arnold Clark Manchester - first time I've been there but they deliver absolutely superb customer service, good priced cars and a great selection. I bought a used Vauxhall Insignia, it had a couple of scratches and marks on the body and alloys, when I collected it a few days later they had all been repaired and resolved and it looked like a new car. I also had a battery issue a couple of days later, I got in touch and explained the problem. I took the car back and they installed a brand new battery at no cost. Highly recommended for both service and cost.

What can I say - Andy Caine was amazing. Helping me pick my car which at times must have been very frustrating for him. He was patient and understanding definitely not a pushy salesman. He found me lots of cars over a period of nearly 7 weeks but I kept changing my mind, eventually he found me the perfect 17 plate Astra and ensured everything was sorted out before collection from myself. Even when I went to collect the car I noticed a little scratch mark on the door and he got that sorted for me the following day. Honest review: sales advisor Vijay was brilliant. Straight away received a personal video for me for my car, detailing all the spec. Advised I put a £100 deposit down so it can’t be sold. I personally think that if you’re serious about buying a car, then that isn’t a big deal. Whilst waiting to test drive the car, Vijay was busy and AC were short staffed, ended up waiting around, but proceeded to purchase the car after this anyway. I didn’t complain about the wait, however the regional sales manager came over and apologised personally for it, and offered half a tank of petrol. Additionally after a smooth sale Vijay offered me free car matts also. For a small wait I appreciate the generosity, and appreciate good honest customer service. No pushy sales, and staff listen to your requirements, will certainly purchase from this company again.

Just purchased a Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 SXI 14 plate from Arnold Clark, Chester Road, Manchester. All the cars inside and outside the showroom were immaculately presented, Kyle Wright was the sales executive who dealt with me and cannot speak highly enough of him and the rest of the team. He was very patient as I asked to test drive a car that was blocked in by others at the showroom to then change my mind, not once, but twice. After the second test drive, of the third car chosen, we sat down, sorted out figures then I went away to sort out my insurance and road cover amendments from old my part ex to the new car. I was offered a very fair price for my part ex, 15% more than another major dealer, and drove away the same day after Kyle organised 6 months tax for me. Although there were additional products offered they were not pushed upon me when I chose not to take them.Thanks to Lee, the branch manager, for leaving Kyle and I to thrash out the deal between us and for his warm greeting at the conclusion of the deal. Unbelievable, as I write, you only have 2.9 on this review site, keep up the good work and it won't be long until your ratings soar.

A bit disappointing. Bought a car here and noticed something a few months later so took it in after work to get it checked out by the garage. Was told "no" before I finished my sentence. "Come back tomorrow" The sales office is open til 8pm but garage etc closes at 5.30 Not possible to book an appointment for the next day was told i could call at 8.30am tomorrow, so a wasted hour drive on my Thursday night in rush hour traffic.

Since being on Motabiity following a life-threatening road traffic accident, I couldn't have found a better Motability Manager than Mr. Tom Winstanley at the Arnold Clark, Chester Road, Manchester, Vauxhall branch. Tom's care & attention to detail has been 2nd to none. My vehicles of choice have always been the fantastic Insignia - especially great as being motorway "mile-munchers" ! My only ever criticism was the guys in the workshop who didn't always use paper-mats on the floor to prevent "mucky" boot marks - but that was it ! I would have NO hesitation in recommending the Insignia, & if you're on Motability, ask to see Tom Winstanley ! 👍

Annoying, went to collect my van had to wait while 2 people dealt with the queue. People in other departments just sat around drinking and talking.
