Hired a car from this company, whilst mine was in the garage for a few days. This was not my first choice, as I contacted a couple of other companies before. The other companies wanted to know what mileage I would be doing (I hadn't really thought about that) and the insurance waivers kept escalating the hire price. I bought a car from this company a few years ago and they were easy to deal with. I rang up and was immediately impressed by the lack of fuss. Most details were done over the phone, which minimised the time spent at their premises. I was dealt with by two young ladies - one when I hired the car and one when I took it back. I have dealt with many, many companies over the years, but very few as helpful as these. Professional, friendly manner, which immediately put me at ease. Quoted a price and stuck to it. The car was spotless and I had no problems. I trust I won't need a hire car for some time, but would certainly return here. I recommend few companies as service isn't what it used to be, but they deserve the plaudits. Thank you.

Hired a AutoTrail F74 Da Vinci MotorHome for a 9 day Holiday in scotland. It was our First experience of a MotorHome (although I had Towing experience of Caravans). Firstly the Staff and Company were so friendly and helpful and could not do enough right to the Driving off on our Holidays. Very Thorough in everyway. We toured scotland from the far North and East to West coast , including the Isle of Skye. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences Holidaying we have ever experienced. The Immaculate brand New 6 Berth Motorhome, everything you needed to go off grid (if thats what you like) for a few weeks. Total luxuary all round. We stuck to the coastal resorts, and one of the most enjoyable parts of the Holiday was driving the Motorhome itself from each destination. A Credit to TMC for there 100% satisfaction, in giving us a Holiday we will never forget. Worth every penny, and would reccomend this type of holiday to Anyone. Well Done Jason, Angela and Jay

We have just bought a motorhome from these guys, and they really have been a pleasure to deal with. We dealt with Harry initially who was exceptionally pleasant and easy company. There was no hard sell at any point. He didn't hover over us when we wanted time to just look around the vans at our own pace, but he was there whenever we needed him with another cup of tea. We then got to know Gavin who couldn't have be more helpful in securing the finance option we chose, and always responded super quickly to any emails we sent him. Thanks Gavin! And finally we met Gary and Greg. Greg spent 3 hours showing us all the workings of the motorhome, making sure we were confident before leaving site. All of them made clear that "nothing was too much trouble" and they are always on the end of the phone for any queries we might have in the weeks, months and years ahead. So we couln't have had a better experience. Many thanks to the whole team for your patience and getting us sorted with the right van!

Good customer service is easy when things go well, but it is when things don’t go to plan when the difference really counts. We put a deposit on a van after having it confirmed that there was VAT included. We are buying through a VAT registered company and get the VAT back so this was important. We arranged a hire car, day off work, child and animal care in preparation for the trip down. 2 days before we were due to collect TMC realized that the van wasn’t VATable, making it too expensive for us when considered against what vans we could buy that included VAT. Harry explained, apologized profusely and tried to help in any way he could. He said we would get all the deposit back without issue. After we rang Autohaus directly (spoke to Steve – excellent advice) we decided to buy a campervan with a different layout. He also spoke highly of TMC customer service as well. Back to Harry, they had what we wanted in stock and promised to get it through the workshop in time for our original pickup. We were collected from the car hire (Enterprise) a couple of miles away and taken to the office. There was a nice touch with a sign when we arrived but I will let you find that out should you purchase one from here. One of the many nice touches we found during the whole process. Greg showed us around the many features with immense patience and was full of good tips. He comes across as someone who is as excited as you are about your new campervan adventure. Nothing is too much trouble to explain again if you need it and I do get the feeling that he would chat for longer if you need it. I would have no hesitation in using them again should we ever change our van. The hot chocolate is great too 😊.

Everything a motorhome business should be. I had an issue with the front protection valve on my Adria Twin motorhome. On hearing the problem Greg talked me through the necessary steps and I quickly realised what I had overlooked. The problem was solved. To help further, he mailed the relevant photos of the valve from the boiler instruction manual. They have done maintenance work before to a high standard at a fair price. Highly recommended

I have had dealings with the company before and that is the reason i was prepared to drive 400 miles to order and collect my new motorhome from them. At all times during the process nothing was too much trouble, Gavin was extremely accommodating. The handover was extremely detailed, a purpose written handbook, a USB stick with videos and much more on the knowledge that if I wasn't sure about something, all I need do was to pickup the phone. A big thanks to Greg who conducted the handover. The whole experience was FIRST CLASS!!!!!!!!

Definitely not the cheapest car sales place in Manchester but one of the best. Reliable cars and mechanics who won't charge you the earth for simple jobs. Checked on the antifreeze level in the car and sent us on our way with some advice about it, absolutely free! Would definitely recommend

I have had my last 3 cars from Tottington Motor Company and i can honestly say that I have not had any problems whatsoever. I have my car serviced and MOT carried out by them every year. They may be a little more expensive but i get a good honest job done. They have a reputation to uphold at the end of the day. Staff are courteous and pleasant and not pushy at all. Cant fault them.

I have had my cars serviced by the garage since 2006. i've never had anything but friendly, professional service from them. My last visit, this week, for an MOT & annual service, was no different, the car was exchanged for a courtesy car at about 9 am and I was called some time between 1 & 2 pm to say that it was ready. On collection I was given back a car that had been cleaned inside and out. And because the MOT was done at the same time as the service, the MOT was half price. I have no problem recommending Tottington Motor Company Ltd.

You'll probably come away from here very happy if your after a low mileage car....looks good...but not to tuned in to prices...but they definitely have a friendly salesman who will make you feel happy and feel relaxed. Probably not the best place to buy if your more tuned into prices for like on like on autorader. The prices in my experience was about £1200 over ( which of coarse is fine .. IF...you'll see some of that back in a raised part exchange figure ) The sales guy is lovely ...and really chilled. The owner/ boss is definitely where the deals get approved. He's a lot more old school...and I heard some lines I hadn't heard for years " I can only give you a price for your car if your committing to one of myn cars "...and seems quite uneasy to cut to the chase and give a px price (quoteing a host of various reasons...which a customer isn't interested in really) My advise. Just be completely realistic of what's your car is worth ....if you think it's worth 10k.. but it's only worth 6k then be realistic to that 6k figure . Likewise the car on the forecourt...if it's got a price of 9999 but you can get that else where like on like for 8699.....then be realistic to that. I know garages have to make money ....but I doubt very likely you'll get a deal here....even with or without a 12 months warranty. And keep an eye on the bits that a warranty wouldn't cover...like the tyres close to 1.6mm and pads running low (that they might not change before you pick the car up unless you work hard on pushing that ) I guess it's up to you if your prepared to pay slightly over the odds. Not for me on my visit... but I wish them well.

I recently visited the garage looking for a Toyota yaris that i had seen on there web site, i was approached by a salesman who introduced himself and then left me to look around the ca,r it was a real pleasure not to be harassed, the car was in great condition and was invited to test drive it, it drove like it looked. so i bought it there and then. it was refreshing to be dealt with in a polite and non pushy way. i pointed out a couple of things that a hoped they would rectify and was assured those things would be sorted. when i came to collect my new car it had a full mot on serviced and the jobs done. couldn't ask for more.
