Lovely friendly service. Had a couple issues with the car and they sorted it out with no questioned asked. Id definitely go here again great for first time buyers. Highly recommend.

From start to finish 1st Gear have offered great communication, competive prices, great training facilities with well maintained bikes. The instructors are all very professional with great knowledge and also relaxed in their methods. Michelle was extremely helpful when booking the course and kept me up to date with plejty of reminders. Thank you for all your help getting me through my A licence.

Bought a Mini Cooper absolutely love it. Superb car so pleased I got the mini instead of a Fiat 500. Paid for the car to be delivered a smashing fella called Jeff went through everything and it was late night, he was so helpful nothing a bother(fabulous) and a big thanks to Faz who sold me the car, I bought it without seeing it just online, he couldn’t have been more helpful if he tried again nothing a bother. (And I believe he was organising a funeral at the same time) thanks so much you made a potential problem easy. Can’t recommend enough.

Im 6'7 and a new driver , I thought a astra estate would have provided enough leg room... given that an astra hatchback did.. Suffice to say at the time I entered the agreement with Faz I thought it acceptable- Only on reflection have decided against, Think the legroom should be more than acceptable, Of course this has no bearing on Faz , He was kind enough to test drive for me as i was a tad nervous having just passed test, and when I withdrew from agreement returned the delivery fee to me. Feel confident that if I would of went ahead with purchase I would of 5 starred Faz and 1st gear motors.

I can not praise these guys highly enough.From initially meeting them to actually buying the car the owners could not do enough for you.When you visit the dealer they do not hound you into buying a car and just let you look around at your own leisure but they are there to answer any questions you have and to give you helpful advice.They are very knowledgeable in all makes of cars and very truthful in their answers. I bought a Nissan Micra from them which was a very good car at a reasonable price and in an excellent condition for it,s age. I would highly recommend these guys and if you want a car pay this dealership a visit as it well worth it and I give them 10/10 in everything they do.Thanks again guys.

I have just bought a Jaguar from 1st Gear Motors. I have been driving for well over 50 years and have bought many cars over the period from a range of dealers. I must say that I would place 1st Gear amongst the very best. Helpfulness to customer, product knowledge an attention to detail was first class. No hard cell, allowed me to progress deal at my pace, and, giving me a very good deal. I would certainly use them again and would not hesitate in recommending them to others.

Today I Baught a golf gti from this company, I couldn't ask them to do more. Car fully serviced and mot, I was made to feel comfortable about buying the right car, the owner was excellent and didn't push on the price. He even gave me £10 for deisel and money for the Tyne tunnel fare, top lad. Excellent service couldn't recommend more

Husband bought renault clio estate from here in August 2019. They could not do enough for us including fitting new brake disks and coil springs before letting the car leave the garage. Car came immaculately valeted and drives beautifully. We will be getting the car maintained here too as they are a very honest and safety conscious garage. Great service.

Ok, so I bought a Peugeot 107 (2006 plate) last week. As always when I buy a car, I took it to my local garage who I have been using for years to do a health check on the car. Not much wrong with it at all considering age and mileage. Only thing I was concerned about was the boot was soaking wet. Turns out the car was missing 2 small plugs that were supposed to be in 2 holes under the spare wheel to stop rainwater etc splashing back up into the car. Because these were missing, the boot was soaking wet. Easily enough replaced . I picked some up from local Peugeot dealers and put them in. Hopefully the noot will dry out now that I have stopped the water getting in. I still think 5 stars is warranted as other than that the car and service were really good. I had the car delivered and he was great as well so no complaints from me at all. Would I buy another car from them, yes although if it's another Peugeot et , I might check the boot next time lol Ok, so it's now 24 January. The boot is still absolutely soaking wet. So far I have replaced the rear lights, will have to reseal the high break light and possibly look at the vents behind the rear bumper. Not what I was expecting. This is going to cost some money to stop the water getting in every time it rains which is something I wasnt expecting to do since i was hoping cost free motoring until the next MOT. I may also have to replace the boot floor as well as it's now rotting badly due to the wet weather we have had over the last month or so. Unfortunately I have reduced the number of stars given. This is actually something they should have noticed and rectified before selling the car as now I am on a tight schedule to prevent any further damage and then eventually (before the next MOT) to fix the damage already caused. So, would I still buy another car from them? Not sure. Maybe, although I would be taking a fully qualified mechanic to check the car from top to bottom. Seemed like a good deal and car but now will cost me money which I was hoping I wouldnt have to do till end of the car.

The description of the car I went to see was incomplete and this is why I decided not to buy it but what I have to say it is that I do recommend this company because they do not give false information over the phone and if you ask questions, you will get honest answers. Staff is nice honest and friendly. Thanks for that.

Well received by the owner Baz. Have since purchased an elderly but decent Peugeot 206 convertible. Baz sorted the few things that we found and at short notice helped swap number plates. Baz is keen on customer care which shows Would happily buy from him again.
