After a write off vehicle i was forced to begin the dreaded car showroom experience, with dealerships pushing for that bigger sale, unfortunately I already had my heart set on a specific make Model and non movable maximum mileage, after days and days of shopping and endlessly waking around different dealerships the last stops were the stretch of dealerships in Newcastle, the moment We drove in to Arnold Clark prepared for more disappointment, and really thinking about revisiting the drawing board and facing that it’s just not ment to be (my perfect car that is) I entered the store, I was greeted by the lady on reception and offered a hot drink, (this was the first dealership I had encountered this experience) i was directed to a agent called Paul, I sat down and explained what had happened to my vehicle, and went into what I was after and the reasons why I wanted this car, the manager of the store over heard and made a few calls and to my amazement they had the exact car I was looking for mileage under what I expected my face would have been like a child opening presents on Christmas morning (we have all seen that big smile) Paul ran through everything and I couldn’t stop smiling! Couldn’t believe my luck. From this point on, Paul took charge and arranged the delivery of the vehicle and kept me updated. He checked the vehicle over when they received it, the vehicle came with one key Paul sorted everything to ensure I had two, (nothing worse than if you loose one, let’s face it we’ve all been there! peace of mind at it finest). I received a call to say it was ready and I can collect! I went through to get the vehicle and oh my goodness I was not disappointed it was there at the entrance just waiting for me! Looking brand new like it had just came out the workshop! There was a issue which I noticed when taking it home but a quick call to Paul and the car was back courtesy car issued and car was sorted within a few days :) I don’t have to worry about it or anything! And I was kept updated with what was going on with my car! They have been excellent, with calls to check in ensuring that everything is going well! If your looking for a car and have your heart set on anything get yourself to this dealership! I guarantee you won’t be disappointed and you will feel at ease from the start and will have great peace of mind knowing there’s always someone on the other end of the phone eager to help with anything.

Contacted Dan Byrne sales manager to find me a specific Mercedes A class AMG that I had been searching for myself with no look! Within the day he had found me my dream car and arranged for it to be brought down to the Newcastle branch. Andrew Grey then took on the sale of the car and ensured it was prepped and read for me to collect asap! Couldn’t fault the team work and communication from these 2 fellas and they made the whole process enjoyable and non stressful! I recently purchased a second-hand car at this showroom. This was the second car I had viewed. The salesman (Mark) was brilliant, and I did not feel under pressure to make a purchase at any stage throughout the process - evident in the fact I had enquired a few weeks earlier and decided not to proceed. Mark was very understanding and I found his knowledge of the cars excellent. He dealt with my part-exchange in a very positive way and at no point did I feel pressure to sell via Arnold Clark. I recently purchased my new car from Arnold Clark Seat in Newcastle, the car was fully documented by video and sent to me directly with a full and detailed description. James Midgley-Cairns the sales consultant was very professional and made the whole click & collect process very easy, he valued my old car and received a better payment that we buy any car. James arranged the collection from AC Kilmarnock. Within three days I received a call from Grant advising me that the car had been delivered to the click and collect centre in Kilmarnock and was ready for collection. When I arrived at Kilmarnock for my 3pm designated appointment I was greeted by Grant and was given time to view the car in person and also informed that if the car was not to my expectations then he would deal with the sales person to resolve. This was all carried out prior to me signing the final agreement and receiving the keys. I found the whole experience seamless and painless and would recommend Arnold Clark in the future

Worth the 5 stars. Earlier this afternoon driving home I realised my tyre was seriously flat. Pulling into the shell garage, next to Seat Arnold Clark, I realised it wouldn’t inflate. I ran over to these guys asking if they could help me change my tyre. They were so kind, Dan (I think his name was, sorry if not) was amazing and drove my car to the work shop and had the guys look at it for me. The service department (Laura and another young man, sorry didn’t get your name) we’re professional and very kind to me (not a customer) and made my car safe to drive home in, offering more service if needed. Experience was amazing from start to finish. Paul Barnes dealt with me and my partner as we were coming down from Edinburgh. Stuart Armstrong organised a personalised video as well as provided me further pictures of the car as I requested.
