Thus far I’ve only dealt with the sales Team, Graeme mainly (I think I’ve driven him mad with all the questions), and Andy and how refreshingly straightforward the process of ordering a new vehicle has proved to be. What I liked: the honesty, I did not feel as though a sale had to be made at all costs. If an answer to a question wasn’t readily apparent, that was made clear then the answer was provided. Costs and timescales clearly explained, no fluffing around either issue. Ease of placing the order including electronic signatures leaving no room for misinterpretation. Paperwork (in electronic format) was easy to understand. A test drive was easy to arrange and no hard sell during the test drive itself, the keys were handed over, the vehicle then went about selling itself. I’ll end with a tip: Avoid the coffee, it’s beyond rank, but the hot chocolate is really good. But for the level of service, utter professionalism and consideration of peoples’ needs, I’ll happily drink rank coffee. You could of course go elsewhere, get better coffee and pay a lot more for a lot less, although those brands which offer less for more will surely be looking over their shoulders nervously, as there’s a new boss in town, it’s their turn now. Check out Lookers and all that Kia have to offer, like me you may be shocked and wondering why it took you so long to find them.

I was very pleased with the excellent customer service I received from all the staff I spoke to at Lookers when purchasing my new car. In particular, salesman Liam Adamson made the whole experience relaxed and stress-free. Liam was friendly and helpful while also being very professional and knowledgeable. Bought this car a week ago and the customer service was fantastic. I’ve had BMW and Audi and the service has been ok unless your buying a high end model. The sales man Amanjit was just so helpful and reall work to get me the best deal possable. I just live the car. It does exactly what I need it to do. I've just made a purchase of a Kia Optima Estate for work. This is my first Kia and first experience with Kia Newcastle. From start to finish, they were absolutely amazing. Liam called me after making an enquiry online to arrange a slot to view and test drive the car for the next day. Liam made us feel welcome and at ease, from the second we got there to the second we left. We even got a complimentary latte ;) There was no pressure for a sale by any means and after the test drive I decided to buy the car. We sat down and sorted out the paperwork on the day. Liam needed a few more details in regards to finance and this was done professionally and efficiently via email, updating me as soon as he had more information / something for me to action. Liam went out of his way to help further with the finance as I had a bit of an issue due to my company being created less than a year ago (no tax returns as of yet) however with more documentation, he was able to prove that I was able to afford the car finance. We then picked up the car on Thursday after a full valet & detail of the car. Liam was professional and very knowledgeable. I would 100% recommend anyone going to Kia for their next car. Went into lookers, for just that.. a look as we were thinking about a new car and as Kia owners already, it was obviously first choice for our new vehicle. We were greeted by a lovely chap, Graeme King, who provided us with all information, specs and answered any question we had. Just bought our first nearly new car and it couldn’t have gone smoother. We popped in last Saturday, not knowing there was an event on and the manager still managed to squeeze us in for a chat. The was very disappointed at the lack of a valet to the vehicle. If this was an extra charge I would understand but ALL my previous vehicles when serviced at the main dealer were always valeted. I did note that the bodywork inspection was not performed due to “dirty vehicle”. So I am now expected to clean the vehicle before service? As I live 30 miles from Newcastle it is inevitable that the vehicle will pick up road dirt on the way. This is unacceptable and I will not be bringing my vehicle to Kia Newcastle for my next service.

I finally collected my new car( Kia Sorento) last week, after an 8 month wait, due to demand. Got in touch with this dealership after finding an Arona for my parents on their website. Not long after submitting my enquiry I was contacted by Graeme who then provided me with details on the vehicle including a personalised walk around video. I arranged a test drive of the vehicle and was happy that the car was a perfect match for my parents. Just took delivery of a new Kia eNiro. The whole experience was great.Having had my previous car (a PHEV Niro) written off in an accident I was suddenly and unexpectedly without a car. Andrew Cleugh could not have been more helpful. At short notice (consequent on the accident/insurance/writing off my car) he was able to supply an all electric eNiro of the same spec (and colour!) as our old car; when I was having trouble with the continuity of my insurance he was able to step in and help with that as well. He took a lot of the stress and hassle out of what could have been a very stressful process. The same dealership has also been very good in their dealings with my daughter who also has a Kia. When my engine warning light came on I contacted Kia, after some confusion about what this meant and debate between Kia and RAC, I was passed to Gemma at Kia who then simplified everything, gave me helpful advice. I bought the vehicle and was told it would get valeted and then I paid for the paint and fabric protector, we picked the car up and it looked really nice and shiny, it smelt lovely too but it was only on closer inspection that the interior hadn't been valeted, it had been hoovered and then coated with the fabric protector, there was a finger nail in the center console armrest and a picture of a little boy in the glove box, I have emailed the branch about this and not heard anything back, if I now get the car valeted properly the fabric protector will be cleaned off meaning it is a waste of money that I am paying for.

Took a service plan with my last sportage on same registration number 1 THT , and when I bought the new car was assured the plan and MOT fee would be carried over but when I went to recently pick up the car after the service was told there was no record of the transaction as the service manager had since left , I argued the toss with the service department and they eventually said they would honour the agreement , sadly based on that experience I won't be tied into another service agreement , so much so that were actually discussing going to another manufacturer . On the positive side , the two current gentlemen in the service department were very professional
