Awesome experience! Dealt primarily over the phone with Terry who was outstanding from the start and looked after me very well. Everything was handled very efficiently, diligently and he always explained all my options very clearly and answered all my questions very patiently. He made the whole process a breeze and when I collected the vehicle in person a few days later I was treated to great customer service (and a delicious hot chocolate). Excellent service from the offset and throughout. I inquired about a vehicle I saw on the website and by the next morning I had an email from Shea (one of the salesmen) introducing himself and asking how he could help me. I explained my circumstances of not being able to physically come and view the car due to distance but expressed my interest in the specific vehicle. Shea then sent over to me all of the details along with a video of both the exterior and interior of the car, highlighting any damages (one minor alloy scratch), and showing me the vehicles service history book, which demonstrated to me his professionalism and honesty as he could have easily not pointed this out and avoided it within the video. I was very pleased and quickly reserved the car online. We stayed in contact over the weekend and discussed the finance and vehicle delivery options that he could offer me, I think it's important for me to note here that Shea was not pressuring me at any time (I have experienced this with other companies/salesmen before) . The vehicle was delivered to my home address (approx 300 miles away) by 7am, 5 days after my initial inquiry. I was greeted by Tony who showed me around the vehicle which was exactly as Shea had earlier described, it was a quick handover and I couldn't be more pleased. I am extremely happy with the service I have received and would highly recommend Lookers Newcastle, and Shea specifically.

I was happy with the work and service reception staff who were very helpful. Except that I received a message with a web link to follow the progress of my vehicle through the workshop. However, I referred to this throughout the day and by 4pm it still said my vehicle had not entered the workshop, so I phoned and was told it was ready for collection! This needs to be addressed because false information is worse than no information if you are waiting all day to collect your car.

The only issue I have is that whilst my car was in for work a broken part was identified and having agreed to have the work done no one told me the part was on back order until I chased the following day. I appreciate that I have been provided with a Hire car for the time that my car is with you however it's really not great that there is no indication at all of when the required part is due to arrive and this has meant I have had to cancel family holiday plans as the hire car (although big enough for everyday use) is not big enough to take the camping equipment we need to fit into it and the hire contract prohibits pets.

When a deal has been agreed and required repairs have been identified and agreed upon, then the work should be carried out as promised by the dealership. This was not the case, 3 (Three) repairs were identified, Replacement tail light, surface scratch to passenger door and solidified glue on rear tailgate, all minor repairs. A date was set for the pick up (7 days later)....1 (one) repair was completed (surface scratch to door), the tail light was brushed over and not replaced (to save money) and the glue not touched. upon inspection, another small paintwork damage was identified, this was agreed as happening on site! This made the day of picking up my new car a disappointment. The car has been booked in to rectify the repairs (3 weeks after purchase). This is not what I expect from a dealership.....Overall a disappointing day for vehicle delivery.

I was told on the phone when I booked my service that my car would be sanitised and washed, can’t see that any sanitisation was done and my car had definitely not washed. Reported that Eco button was not working and the car will have to be taken back in for repair when button is in stock. Also reported that the button you press to get into the storage ducket on the dash the plastic is peeling away, I was told that they cannot do anything about this, no idea why this has happened as nothing has been ever been stuck or put on the button (hence it’s a button to open the ducket) but it’s looks a mess. No video received from inspection either.

I purchased my vehicle without seeing it first hand but Brandon provided videos and additional pictures. The staff member that sold me my car was a bit pushy and condescending (I took most of the add on services but turned down one of them and he asked me if the reason I didn't want it was because I didn't understand what it was!!!), but he got me the best deal possible and had my car delivered extremely quickly. The after sales service and repair centre / garage is fantastic. My first MOT showed that I needed 4 new tyres and break pads and I was allowed to spread the cost of repairs over 3 payments interest free which I have never come across before at a garage. They also cleaned my car inside and out as part of the MOT. 1 year later the control button for my electric mirrors broke and I took it in for repair. I had researched the possible cost beforehand and it matched the price they quoted me. They repaired it in a few hours and also did a full vehicle health check and cleaned the car inside and out free of charge which was a nice surprise. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
