Bought a car from McDougal & Breen at the beginning of March. I can honestly say it was the easiest, most stress free process I've ever experienced buying a car. The guys were very helpful, and they agreed to a couple of requests I had with no issues at all. Everything was done over the phone and it couldn't have been any easier. I live in Cardiff, and had to travel to Newcastle to collect the vehicle - when I turned up it was immaculate, all paperwork was present, and two sets of keys. Everything was explained to me, paperwork signed/agreed etc., and I was away in about half an hour or maybe less. Perfect. Definitely worth the journey, and I would definitely buy another car from these guys. Great car, and great service- thanks guys!

Sold our car to M&B today. The guys arrived at my address when they said they were going to and after a very brief inspection transfered the pre-agreed amount directly into our bank, didn't try to chip the value like we buy any car would have done and took the car away all within about 10mins. Much easier than a traditional private sale!

Just purchased a gorgeous Volvo XC60 from these guys. Didn’t feel like a pushy car sales environment at all. Was very relaxed and friendly. Chris served me and we chatted about my needs. He was very helpful with suggestions, didn’t push my budget or try any tacky sales technique. There was no pressure to buy. See we were pondering around 1 car then came to check on us again and got us the keys, we looked at the car then ended up going for a test drive. They kept us fully updated on everything that was happening from start to end and even with a courtesy email ensuring everything was ok. A few weeks ago I purchased a quality car from McDougal and Breen. I am very pleased with the BMW 320i M Sport I bought there. It is a superb vehicle. It did take some time to sort out some faults with the car but it is a credit to your company that you were determined to solve the problem of a misfire, which occurred the day after I picked up the car, and the workshop manager Phil would not release the car until he was sure the vehicle was running faultlessly. Now it is a delight to drive. I would like to thank the service department for their work in sorting out the car. There was no extra cost to me, apart from half a tank of petrol, and no hint that there would be an added cost. It is very reassuring that a local company has such high standards in customer service.

Thanks so much to Chris and the team! Genuine, honest, personable guys! Just picked up the most gorgeous Mini Cooper in Volcanic Orange with black trims and a new set of black alloys at no extra cost! Having scoured the width and breadth of the country online, I knew for sure that this was the best price & lowest mileage anywhere to be found! As I would be travelling over 150 miles to pick the car up Chris described the car in every detail over the phone, so there would be no little surprises at the time of pick up. I felt so comfortable dealing with him that I even paid for the car in full before seeing it!!! There was no hard sell at all with the "add ons". I left the garage with more than enough fuel in the tank to get me home, a nice and unusual touch these days, an immaculate car and was given enough clear instructions to be able to drive it home! Traveled from Manchester 300 mile round trip. Really happy we did. Bought a Mercedes B class. And saved over £ 2000. Could not find one cheaper anywhere. I have bought 2 cars from this showroom, and honestly they could not be any better or transparent. The first car we bought was a Ford Fiesta which was a few years old, and I literally couldn’t find it any cheaper even on the internet. The difference between this showroom and others, and what made me go back, (and I will in the future) is the attention paid to us by the salesman (Mark) we looked at a few different cars in the same price bracket. However we were advised that the Fiesta was a better car for my wife even though it was not the most expensive of the ones we were looking at. And he has been provedright, we have had the car for 6 years now, and apart from tyres it hasn’t cost us a penny. My next visit was for my own car, and I had something particular in my mind, and unfortunately they didn’t have anything in stock that fit my long list of wants. Not a problem to Mark, he asked me what I wanted, and a couple of weeks later I receive a phone call, with the right car at the right price. Thanks for my Jag Mark I love it. He also did the same thing for my father in law, who also had a particular list of wants for his new car. Thank you Mcdougal & Breen, a very good outfit, who is local who treats their customers as old friends. I will definitely be back

Excellent Service I had my alloys refurbished and recoloured a few weeks ago and they look brilliant. There was an issue with a couple of the Tyre pressure monitoring sensors when I got the car back, but Phill was excellent in getting this problem resolved ASAP, even liasing with the Dodge dealer. Unlike many main dealers they actually called back when they said they would!

Only down side was the second car was financed and I did it over the phone and they quoted the flat rate not the APR....I didn't check when i signed so my fault partially...the eventual APR was shocking though...so when you get an interest rate make sure you get the APR not the flat rate
