I’m very happy with my low mileage Mercedes! I dealt with a guy named Mark, who was spot on, he’s a top bloke & very helpful. I live in Southampton so it was a bit of a gamble to go such a long way to pick up a car I liked, But I needn’t of worried, the car was like brand new & not a mark on it, it also drove like new & so smoothly on the way back home without any problems at all. I purchased a Skoda Yeti in July 2021. Having travelled from North Yorkshire to view the vehicle first, the sales team of Mark and Peter were helpful and very easy to get on with. The vehicle was ready for inspection and after a short test drive due to Covid restrictions, I decided to purchase the vehicle. It was reassuring to have a full MOT and service on the car and this highlighted a few issues, which were resolved at the cost of the garage. I asked for further work to be completed and this was done at my cost only. Not a service you get in many places these days. After a couple of weeks I was able to return and take away the vehicle, which I am delighted with. Throughout the experience, the team have been friendly, professional and nothing has been too much trouble for them. The other staff within the garage we spoke to were also very friendly. As a woman purchasing a car, I was never patronised or felt I was being spoken down to, which is extremely refreshing in this type of trade. Really good service. I travelled down on Saturday 29th August to inspect and collect the car I had chosen. Presented to me beautifully clean and in excellent condition, which I had hoped for but was prepared for the odd small blemish as I suppose you would expect from a 6 years old 4 wheel SUV. I had spoken to Kane over the phone and he had talked me through the condition of the vehicle and reassured me that it was in mint condition prior to my travelling and collection. Had a rear brake issue after a couple of days which was adjusted to my satisfaction under the warranty without any fuss. Car really does drive well and I am more than happy with the all round effort of the sales team in making sure that I was well looked after. This is the second time that I have purchased a car remotely. First time was with another dealer and to be honest it was not great. This time however was first class, car and paperwork really well presented and good aftercare. What’s not too like. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

After searching for a Honda CR-V online for two weeks, my wife and I happened to walk past Motor Port on our way to the shops on New Year’s Eve. On the forecourt was a CR-V which caught our eye. The salesman, Kane, engaged us in conversation with no pressure to buy. We continued on to the shops thinking about what he had told us and on our way back it came to us that the car was exactly what we had been looking for. Kane again came out to speak with us and before we knew it, and without even having opened the doors, we confidently agreed to buy it. The whole process was friendly and hassle free and two days later after the car had been prepped, valeted, serviced and thoroughly checked over, we sat in it for the first time and drove it home. We have now had it for four days and are delighted with it and the service provided by Kane and Motor Port and would happily recommend them. After all our searching online we were amazed to find the answer was just a quarter of a mile down our street!

Jaguar XF Initially saw the vehicle advertised on the company’s website. Made a phone call and a viewing was arranged the next day by Mark who was polite and professional informing me that his colleague Peter would greet me for the viewing at the time agreed. On arrival at the showroom the cars on offer seemed to be of high quality and well presented. Immediately I was welcomed by Peter who had the vehicle ready and waiting for my perusal I was given time to view the vehicle without the usual pressure to buy. Following a test drive the I secured the vehicle with a small deposit. Peter, who may I say is a polite professional and extremely likeable fella, immediately put me at ease with the whole experience I actually felt “wow this feels good “ I actually was getting a buzz out of buying a new car. Arrangements were made to collect the vehicle later in the week. A follow up phone call from Peter advised me that the vehicle was ready for collection. On arrival the vehicle was ready and waiting prepared immaculately the paperwork was completed swiftly with no pressure to purchase the usual main dealer “add ons”. The keys were passed over and away I went “Any problems just get in touch “ Had the vehicle for 2 weeks now and just want to drive it all the time. Also free 12 months AA breakdown cover included just activated by a free phone call. If your looking for a change of vehicle give Motorport a visit they’ve been around a long time and are an independently locally run business I can’t fault their customer service and knock the socks off main dealers I’ve visited you actually feel valued something I thought no longer existed in the motor trade. Give these guys a visit I did and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Purchased a Audi q3 approximately 6 weeks ago soon after picking car noticed brake were grinding give it a week as car had been standard on forecourt. Brakes still grinding so returned car and was told to give it a bit more time to clear up , still no good returned to garage yesterday arrange a day to take it in and replace front brakes picked up front discs and pads replaced and back cleaned up.

Valeting very good although lots of dog shake splats on the roof lining. Can forgive for that as easily cleaned. Salemen very attentive. Noticed front scews of air filter box lid were sticking up a good inch or so after purchase which left a gap of about half an inch above the filter. Reason... Screw holes stripped. Again easily fixed but doing so found the air filter was filthy. Changed this for under £10 but decided to change the oil and filter as well just to be sure.

Where do I start... after dealing with a cowboy dealer in the past and loosing a significant amount of money I was a little nervous going to another garage espically one so far away from where we live. However Ive learnt not to tar everyone with the same brush. Having initially shown an intrest in a suzuki jimny which unfortunatly was not meant to be (through absolute no fault of motorport) to leaving today with our new Freelander, the customer service from start to finish has been second to none. Only 4 stars because customer parking is on the other side of the road from the garage, although if you are in a wheelchair they do try to let you park nearer if there is space. The after service has been helpful and the staff do try hard to fix any problems or answer questions promptly. I will update as time goes on, the staff are friendly and helpful. So I recently bought a low mileage BMW M4 Convertible from Motor Port the morning I went to collect the vehicle from Newcastle the sterio system developed a fault and Peter one of the head sales men took the car to there auto electrics specialist up the road he diagnosed the Harmen Karden amplifier to be faulty we agreed they would send me a new replacement at great expense which they did and they payed BMW main dealer to code it in for me long and short of it is they did everything they promised me and I've ended up a very happy customer I'd certainly recommend the company, Mark and Peter's service was fantastic Thanks again Wes !!!
