Rang Stoneacre Toyota on Sunday and was assisted by Richard Glasper in regards to my enquiry for a Toyota Yaris. Richard was very professional and was able to answer all my questions. Richard very kindly arranged a test drive for the following morning. First time visiting Gateshead Stoneacre Toyota and immediately from being warmly greeted by the receptionist to meeting Richard the whole experience was welcoming, friendly and a credit to the dealership. This was our second visit to this show room it's spacious, parking is easy with a warm welcome from all the staff. On our first visit Andrew Dobson showed us around and briefly showed some different options without putting it is under any pressure. We looked around and said we would be back after our holidays. Yesterday we went back and saw the same gentleman and bought a car. While waiting for checks and paper work a young lady her first day there came over and chatted extremely pleasant as was all we encountered. What a fantastic experience from start to finish. We will definitely be using them again especially if all goes well with our new can our first Toyota.

Toyota is our local dealer for our hybrid. It had a catastrophic part failure in July. This left my "Aged P" without transport and living in a village on the valley side isn't great without a car. The part was to take a month to arrive from a far flung destination. S, in the service dept, had a Sisyphean task to get a courtesy car in such a climate and yet she did it. I can't thank S enough for her compassion and professionalism. Also, the car was repaired and returned within the promised time frame. All in all, a big thank you.

Excellent helpful dealership that can't help that Toyota's range has become greatly restricted and don't have a car suitable for us any more. Fine if you want a hybrid or a petrol car but no use for a plug in pure battery. Great quality but being left behind on the tech.

Have just purchased a Toyota Yaris from Hodgson Gateshead. A very pleasant experience. The staff were extremely friendly and offered a hot Beveridge whilst we waited for a Customer Service Advisor to become available. A very pleasant young lady named Lindsay was very helpful and advised the various ways to finance the car. She showed us a number of models, and helped us complete the transaction with out any problems. At no time did we feel pressurised with the purchase procedure. I bought a new car here six years ago and was always impressed by their excellent customer service during the warranty period. Since then, I have used a local mechanic as I live a long way from Hodgsons and the car is getting old now. Recently, however, it had to go back for a minor Toyota recall issue and I took the opportunity to ask Hodgsons to look at another slight problem. I got a courtesy car on loan and it turned out to be over the weekend while they ordered for parts for the additional issue. Hodgsons fixed it for not very much and my car came back cleaner than it's been for some time. In short, I got exactly the same high level of service I'd received in the past. All the staff at Hodgsons over the years have been a pleasure to deal with.

The other great thing about Hodgson is they sell and service Toyota as someone who does 25k miles a year I can say that Toyota are the best brand going for reliability and longevity, I love my new yaris and it was a pleasure dealing with Lyndsey who sold me the car she is excellent at her job and a credit to the company. I have never owned a Toyota before, but I would not go for anything else in the future. I have had a bad experience with a dealership in the past, i.e., once they have your money they are no longer interested, however, Hodgson Toyota at the Metrocentre could not do enough for me, even though it was not a brand new car that I had bought. Keith Levitt the Salesman I dealt with is one of the most patient and helpful people I have ever come across. I can not rate this dealership highly enough. I would not go anywhere else in the future!
