S. M.I bought my current car from them just over 12 mont. My experience with them was a very good one, the sales representative Connor was a delight to deal with.
I was unfortunately unable to view or test drive the car i was interested in as the dealer is a few hundred miles away and my working hours are long.
I received all the details and information I asked for and even had my request to have the underneath of the car checked and inspected for subframe corrosion which was my main concern.
From the first email contact I was kept up to date with every part of the process and I knew exactly what was going on including any issues the car had which is the most important thing to know when your buying a car without seeing it in person you need the dealer to be as transparent as possible .
After putting down a small refundable deposit the car underwent its MOT which it sadly failed, Connor phoned me to tell me and was totally honest instead of trying to sugarcoat it and sell me the car anyway as "sold as seen" small discount no warranty type thing or just lie which would have ultimately left me with the problems and bill at the end of it and which lots of other dealers would have definitely tried to do that in the same situation.
Luckily Connor didnt try that with me and was adamant he wanted the car to be right for me and fully sorted before selling it. He personally went out of his way to make sure every part that was an issue and had failed the mot was removed and replaced with brand new parts (with receipts)
a few days later the car was again put through its MOT but this time it passed with no advisories which was perfect news.
I was now satisfied that the car was sorted and good enough to buy and after completing the purchase I had the car collected and delivered.
Fast forward 12 months later and car has just had its new mot & full service and apart from a couple of unexplained missing bulbs the car passed it's MOT with no major problems.
The only negative thing I can really say about the whole experience was that I never received the free bottle of champagne I was promised when I purchase the car but as I don't drink anyway I'll maybe let them off :)

T. W.Buying a car can often be a stressful and make you question if you’re choosing the right car, the right dealer etc. Hoodhill completely took the stress out of the process in multiple ways. Firstly there was no pressure in purchasing the vehicle, which allowed me to feel 100% confident in my decision. The fact that the deposit was also refundable really added to the pressure free feeling. Secondly the teams communication levels were impressive. I was able to contact the team via text and telephone and always has a quick response. They also went out of their way to keep me constantly updated in regards to the collection of the vehicle. Next, nothing was too much, I had a few requests in regards to the vehicle and I had a yes every time which left me extremely satisfied. Finally not only was the vehicle top quality but the customer service too! The team were attentive and friendly! They most definitely exceeded any other dealership I have been to. Would 100% recommend these guys and point family and friends in their direction! 🤩
