What a pleasant experience from Ian and Lewis from start to finish went out of there way to reassure me as I couldn't get to go and view the car in person. My car was delivered by Ian can't rate them highly enough. Just waiting for my service book to be sent to me by post.

Can't rate these guys highly enough. Ian went out of his way to let us see the car when they were closed as we had limited time in Wales. Really accomodating as to when we could pick the car up as we had to isolate. Excellent communication and never pressured or anything like a hard sell. Good price given for our much older car as well. Plus they sorted out a really reasonable deal for replacing the cam belt before we picked up the car. Only had the car a few days but it's all been brilliant so far. Highly recommended. Honest and decent business.

Really really pleased with the service I got from Lewis and Ian at The Car Link. They both went above and beyond with selling me a VW Tiguan, I felt very friendly and genuine people. I bought this car nearly a month ago. They started by holding the car for a week for me as I wasn't local so I was able to get to Newport to look at it. Let me take it out for a test drive, went through all the various buttons in the car thoroughly even as far as pairing my phone to the car! Went to look at a car (ford s-max) late saturday the 1st of May and was met by young man who just handed us the keys and said take your time do what you want to do to check it over.. didnt hassle us and was very helpful and knowledgeable. We took our time even though it was getting late and when we decided to have the car he was very helpful even though we had sorted our own finance. We picked the car up on WED as Bank Holiday was inbetween and fair to say the service we have been given was the best we could have asked for. Ian and his team take the hassle out of buying a car. Two weeks ago I went to Car Link to view a 2013 Astra GTC. One hour later I was driving it home (200 miles) the test drive, car tax, insurance all done and dusted. Needless to say the car was unmarked, had new MOT, free breakdown & warranty included. As a bonus, on leaving Ian guided me personally to show the way to the M5 home but not before having stopped enroute to add a tankful of diesal. Many thanks for making it a pleasurable experience

During these difficult times I was nervous committing to buying a car under click and collect conditions, I shouldn't have worried... at least not when buying from Car Link Newport South Wales, right from the first contact Lewis took care of things professionally and with reassuring care, everything that we agreed was done as arranged and in good time, the price agreed was very reasonable and my part exchange was valued at a good level... the collection was excellent with all covid 19 protections in place and adhered to.. all in all why buy new when you can achieve exceptional value and service from a good solid honest second hand dealer.. you won't go far wrong then trying Lewis and the team at Car Link Newport

Decent cars, however they charge a premium price, one that's not necessarily justified. But the cars appear to be mechanically sound, and provided you put a bit more money ontop of the purchase price to do some basic maintenance tasks, you'll have a good ride.

Few reasons why I have give 3 stars, service I found was not to bad, drove along way to purchase car they did give me a fair price for my vehicle. But now 4 weeks after buying it things are starting to go wrong. They say that they do a RAC 50 point check on the car before it's sold. On arrival home the same night I realised that the number plate lights and boot light wasent working. I fixed the boot at my own cost and they did send new parts out for number plate. They give warranty in the name off RAC however they don't do anything to help apart from call them.. 4 weeks after buying vehicle, car breaks down due to dead battery having taken to HI Q garage have confirmed and said this want even hold charge ? Now I get warranty doesn't cover that how ever I don't except to have to pay for things like this having owning it just over 4 weeks... Today another problem has occurred the central locking is sounding like a plane is taking off, guess what was told 'ring RAC' even though before purchase they had apparently done work on the door locking system?? And want take any responsibility apart from make a 6 hour round trip so they can look at it... All in all not bad service, but take a mechanic with you and great if you don't like having decent warranty.

A faultless car buying experience .. would highly recommend and hope to use again for future car purchases.
