Recently visited the dealership in order to check out a couple of vehicles that I was interested in, after viewing them on the website. On attending the site I was approaced by one of the sales reps who proceeded to show me around the vehicles. He had good knowledge of the vehicles and answered any questions put to him. I left shortly after, very happy after purchasing one of the cars and having got a good part exchange for mine. I have purchased cars from this dealership in the past and have always found the staff helpful and knowledgeable.

Superior dealership. Service Reception handling was excellent. I thought I might have to replace the two front tyres on my 18 plate Corsa, but there was no issue when it was checked. Just want to say a big thank you to the friendly and helpful staff here. I had a scary tyre blow out on the dual carriageway but luckily near them. They were more than happy to help me change my tyre but after discovering I had no spare 😬 were able to fit me a new tyre so I could get home and even gave my filthy car a quick clean. I had seen a 2nd hand vehicle advertised online, I telephoned the local branch to see if I could test drive and within 1 hour the vehicle was ready for me to drive. Unfortunately the first car I brought from Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall Northampton had an unforeseen clutch problem within two days of my ownership. They attempted to fix it twice but it wasn't fixable. The customer service I received following this however was excellent. They took the car back while providing me with a courtesy car and I was able to choose another car without question. To add to that, the new car I purchased was more expensive, but they arranged for me to keep the original finance quote for monthly payments. Result! They ensured I was happy in the end, despite the inconvenience and disappointment initially. The staff are so friendly. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Bristol Street Motors in Northampton helped me find a new replacement Citroen C4 Spacetourer when my old family car broke down and needing replacement at very short notice. Mark in particular was brilliant, helping me by loaning me a car whilst my new one was sourced and brought down for me. He even worked on his days off to ensure everything went through and brought the car down to my house for me so my family and I were inconvenienced as little as possible.

At first when I bought my new car from here it was a very good and helpful experience. However since then I have been trying to call to come and collect some extra things for my car that free and my phone calls are getting nowhere and they are making the situation seem a lot more complicated than it actually is and nobody seems to have a clue what they I am talking about. Also I either get sent to the incorrect department on the phone or I am left on hold. This is very poor customer service for something that should have been arranged already.

In Aug 2021 I visited the showroom to collect a Nissan Juke that had been delivered there from another Bristol Street Showroom. I was unable to collect it due to several problems none of which were attributed to the Northampton showroom. It took two visit to eventually collect it, on both occasions the Northampton sales person did their best to help resolve problems not of their making. I first visited Vauxhall Northampton just after Christmas 2015 and immediately was made to feel as though the sales staff wanted me to feel comfortable whilst we discussed my needs. There was no pressure even though I did not want to take delivery of my car for a month.
When I went to collect the car in due course it was ready and taxed and again was made to feel valued as a customer not just by the salesman I was dealing with but also other staff and the manager in charge.
I found that any queries were promptly and accurately dealt with and came away with a nice used car complete with warranty and peace of mind.

In short the team here are simply excellent.
They won our business from our usual garage with their clear no-nonsense approach and amazing customer service.
They treated us excellently - listened to our issues on
first phone call, offered to have a look and acted quickly on looking at our car despite being very busy.
They gave us excellent options and clear breakdowns of work required and of the cost of things.
They kept us informed even when unexpected things cropped up. Every phone call had carefully thought out solutions and options. No 'I will call you back with the price' resulting in you chasing them a day later.
The Long Story
I have no idea about cars but I am organised and took our car for a service and MOT three weeks before the MOT ran out. It failed as expected on some general wear and tear items: a tyre, brake pads and discs, a cracked exhaust pipe oh and the annual retracking every year standard as the fact that my other half drives the car around like she is playing Mario Kart. We were quoted a rough cost (read overall and non itemised) for the essential work. We also had an airbag fault light that popped on rather inconveniently a the month our family Chevrolet car was due for its MOT.
We had inconclusive diagnostics at our usual garage who were graceful enough to discount some of the price as they werent able to conclusively diagnose the issue. They advised it was specialist work and referred us to a chevrolet dealer as the work may be significant and 'we may wish to consider the cost of work verus car value' (read pricey) as it would need to be fixed for the car to get through its mot and may be the determining factor.
Chevrolet dealers are few and far between it turns out.
In fact I spent an entire morning calling previous local chevrolet garages who referred me to who they thought was the new authorised chevrolet garage. After a number of apologies and blank responses I finally spoke directly to Chevrolet who informed me of my closest dealer.
I was resigned to booking a midday diagnostic time slot the DAY before my MOT ran out, at a dealer a three hour round trip away (I was told this wasnt too bad as some people travel from Newcastle) who couldn't guarantee me a courtesy car should the work require some time. This was little bit worrisome with no guarantees that they would be able to sort out the issue at a realistic price. This meant at least a day off work and no guarantee that I would be able to get home..... not such a great situation.
Bristol Street Motors were recommended to me by my uncle who simply insists it is the only dealership he buys and services his cars at - high praise indeed as he has travelled from Corby to Bristol Street Northampton for a new car and servicing religiously for the last fifteen years.
As a last resort and after one phone call to a lovely lady in service called Jodi who despite being busy and me telling her this very long story, was very practical and took on the challenge of getting the car in and looked at. Jodi explained she was confident in her team and fancy diagnostic machine and would see if they could help.
The truth is the car was diagnosed, the problem highlighted (it was a broken connector under the passenger seat on the circuit) and fixed in less time than it took me to find a Chevrolet dealer. They obviously have some talented experienced people working there.
No 3 hr round trip, no day off work, no being held to ransome.
Bristol Street also quoted (read itemised, explained and costed) for the work to get it through its mot and got it done quickly and with minimal fuss.
A couple of new issues raised on the retest: a seized rear brake and various bulb replacements cropped up during the MOT and these were dealt with simply and efficiently with everything being explained clearly prior to approval to work being carried out.
I would really recommend them for their customer service, clear effective communication and it may sound simple but for calling when they said they would with the info I needed to make a decision.

It's tricky to review these guys. I could say they lived up to expectations, I got exactly what I expected and so on. Sadly, my expectations were very low and what I expected was to be ignored, then when they said they'd call me they wouldn't etc etc which is what I got.
I stood in front of the service desk while they talked amongst themselves for a couple of minutes. Doesn't sound like much but it's so rude. They seem to forget I pay their wages.

I traveled from Birmingham to Northampton to view a Ford Fiesta, it wasn't quite as described when I arrived, but the salesman Muhammad Islam was great, I looked around the car and identified marks, chips and other issues with the car and make it clear I was interested in purchasing it, he made sure everything was put right to my satisfaction. He went through all the paperwork and explained everything I needed to know.
Muhammad was very professional, friendly and had a sense of humour, there was no pressure to buy the car and I could have as much time to inspect the car as I wanted, as a result of the way I was dealt with I would definitely recommend Vauxhall Northampton and in particular make contact with Muhammad Islam.

So I phoned numerous Vauxhall dealerships giving them my specifications for a vehicle but each one came back with no results, I was literally about to stop the search but I called up the Northampton showroom and was instantly connect With Myles Francis, who during the 3 weeks has helped me in every possible way. I gave specific requirements to Myles who promised to do his best to fulfill this. And I’m glad to say his promise was real! No matter how many times I called to ask random car questions he was there to answer them!
Even though I haven’t had an opportunity to deal with any other colleagues I would 100% advise you to deal with Myles his customer satisfaction is beyond that!

I recently purchased a car from Bristol Street Motors. The salesman I dealt with was courtous and helpful. The car was an ex demonstrator and had only done 500 miles. They were open to negotiation over price and I was delighted with the deal that I got, which included part exchanging my car at an excellent price.
When I collected it a week later and was surprised to see that it had done another 300 miles, the Manager compensated me by supplying a free tank of petrol.
