After pretty abysmal service at Jardine Milton Keynes and Marshall Cambridge , Guy Salmon Northampton have completely rekindled my faith in the Jaguar brand which I have bough for the last 40 years . A special thank you to Steve Hunt the Sales Man who has bought and sold Jaguar cars for 30 years and knows the Product inside out , a complete Gentleman and desperately hard to find in most other Jaguar Dealerships . Thank You Steve for all you did for me , the SVR F Type I bought from you is a lovely thing . Thanks also to the manager Graeme Burns , another decent man making his career in the Sytner Group , from an old bloke to a much younger one keep doing what you are doing Graeme and you will go where you want to go . It was lovely to meet you . Finally to all the lovely Ladies up there who go about their jobs largely unsung , I thought you all looked immaculate , positive and diligent in all the work you do and I enjoyed your conversation and hospitality . Fantastic service and brilliant cars. I bought an I-Pace from Warren Mead who has been a delight throughout. I placed my deposit in September and he was polite and helpful when I first agreed to buy and had an initial panic attack as it was such a big commitment! Regular calls were received in the months that followed which increased as we approached delivery. I never felt pressured in any way and the handover was excellent. The I-Pace is a complex car and Warren stepped me through the many options for over an hour, and wouldn't let me go until I was happy. He has offered me his personal mobile to contact him if I have any questions which I found reassuring. The other staff I dealt with were very polite, and although I was offered things like Gap insurance and paint protection, a simple "no thank you" was all that was required and no further pressure was applied.
They hand over new cars every day but I was made to feel as if I was the only person that mattered while I was there.
The girl on the reception desk was always polite and accommodating every time I turned up (I dropped in occasionally to see of a similar car to mine was in stock) and never made me feel I was an inconvenience.
They also make a lovely cup of tea. :)

I actually purchased a vehicle from Jaguar Northampton over two months ago but decided to wait to leave a review to allow time to capture any subsequent service dealings which may have arisen over time. So far there hasn’t been a need but I will update my review to reflect any experiences post purchase going forward.
Having been with Audi (Vindis Group) Northampton for well over 10 years, I had decided to move away from Audi as a result of service levels becoming unbearably poor following recent changes in Senior Management at that dealership. Along with contacting Mercedes and BMW I contacted Warren Mead at Jaguar and let him know my timelines, budget and spec aspirations, and then sat back and allowed him to control the pace, urgency, suitability of recommendations, and comfort within the sales process.
In short everything was spot on. Warren kept me updated throughout my dealings with him, keeping regular contact through the usual communication channels but also via unique video mails. At no point did I feel pressured, or for that matter forgotten. All potential options in terms of spec vs cost were plainly laid out as well as associated advantages and disadvantages. He made it clear he didn’t just want to sell me a car, but he wanted to sell me the best value car, and one that I would be happy with potentially for years to come. Equally, all aspects of finance were explained in line with FCA guidelines in simple, jargon free language.
Ultimately I purchased a gorgeous Santorini black, Chequered flag edition XF, and so far I couldn’t be more delighted with it. Thanks all, keep up the good work!
