Not your average used car dealer! I bought an older S Class Mercedes from Zach. I was intending to buy a somewhat newer one but after a very frustrating experience and poor service form a main dealer, the contrast in approach from Zach was marked. His communication throughout was impeccable, always responsive and helpful but never pushy. The purchase itself was a refreshingly pleasant experience. Having paid a deposit for the vehicle unseen, I travelled some miles to view and hopefully collect it. The car was exactly as described and very nicely presented. Zach was so pleasant and easy to deal with and I left his premises very satisfied and enjoyed a great drive back home. However, having got back home a problem developed with the car very quickly and I wondered if it had all been too good to be true. I needn't have worried though. Zach provides a warranty with his cars and importantly he stands behind them himself, not simply relying on a third party warranty company. The repair that was needed was not cheap. It was straight forward enough and the parts readily available but the cost was fairly significant. Having paid what seemed like a very fair price for the car I was concerned that Zach might now wash his hands of the problem like so many used car dealers... caveat emptor and all of that! But he didn't. Quite the opposite, Zach was not only genuinely empathetic but was clearly also personally very disappointed that I had experienced an issue with a car he had sold to me, and especially that it had happened so soon after I bought it. He committed that I would not be out of pocket for the repairs and he was good to his word. Not only that but when my specialist repair shop had trouble coordinating with the warranty company, Zach stepped in and handled it all directly with the repair shop. He put his hand in his own pocket and ensured that I had nothing to pay and that any sorting out with the warranty company would be done by him. Not by my repair shop and not by me. I picked the car up and have since enjoyed many smooth, comfortable and trouble free miles in my lovely Zachary Luke pre-owned vehicle. Not many businesses provide such a positive pre-sales and sales experience. Far fewer still this level of post-sales support. The problem with the car was a shame but the way Zach handled it turned a minor negative into a real positive. It's easy to provide great service when everything goes smoothly but it is how businesses handle problems, when they do inevitably sometimes arise, that differentiates good service from truly great service. Thank you Zach for providing such a truly exceptional five star level of service. I would definitely recommend Zachary Luke Cars to anyone looking for an honest car from a very honest and upstanding businessman.

Abandon all preconceived cynicism about car dealers - this one is different… Zach was amazing from the first enquiry to the completed sale and beyond. So I was looking for a while for a used car which is always a little worrying. I came across one that Zach was selling and went to Northampton to view-he picked me up from the station and immediately gave me the option to drive, I then asked for another drive with the roof down and after inspecting the car and the paperwork, I asked to think about it. At no point was he pushy or evasive and then he offered to drive me back to the station. I have the car, it seems in great condition,I'm very pleased with it and wish Zach well-he deserves to be successful and we should all support small businesses-it's just a much better buying experience and I would have no hesitation sending someone to Zach for a car.

I have just bought a Z4 Coupe from Zach and found the whole experience really pleasure rather than the usual possible minefield. I had to travel 4 hours to view the car but found Zach very honest and open with his appraisal of the cars condition, and a pleasure to deal with. I purchased a BMW Z4 from Zachary Luke Cars in April of this year. I initially found the advert on Autotrader which had a clear & detailed description of the car. I contacted Zach & he sent me over many additional photos of the car & also provided a walk around video which was really helpful. I’m based in the North East & I had to make sure the car was spot on before organising travel down to Northampton to collect it. Zach’s communication from initial contact, to answering questions about the history & condition of the car & finally arranging the test drive/collection of the car was outstanding. He went above expectations as he even got a new Timing Chain fitted when it was only a recommendation from a local BMW specialist. I purchased from Zach a few weeks ago now. We arranged a viewing for the same day I called, and upon arrival he was prompt and professional - providing all necessary documents and info about the car. I had a test drive, and loved everything about it. I told him I did need some time to think, and he was totally understandable and in no way pushy, then the following day I made the decision and put down a deposit. He was very accommodating with arranging the collection around my schedule, and all was done quick and easy, whilst feeling like a special hand-over the whole time. There was a slight audio issue which was unbeknown to Zach when he sold the car, but very kindly offered to contribute to the cost of replacement - even with it not being covered under warranty. Would certainly purchase a specialist performance car from Zach again.

Buying a used car can be a stressful experience, not least because it's one of the larger purchases one will make, and there have been some horror stories out there. Zach completely dispels those fears: you quickly find out that he's 100% trustworthy and reliable to the point where he'll even get things done on the car that weren't necessary to sell it (like a service when it wasn't due, or new tyres when they still had a lot of life left in them). When I viewed the BMW, I'd driven almost 100 miles to do so and was very pleasantly surprised at his transparent and no-pressure approach. I liked the car but wanted to make sure I could arrange finance (even though he offers the facility). He called me after a couple of days to see how I was getting on (again, no pressure), and we arranged he'd hold the car with a not excessive deposit. It all went through OK and I collected it a week later. Zach had said he'd be very pleased to collect me from Northampton Station but in the event, I got a lift. He again went through all the paperwork, service records, MOTs etc, then ran through the DCT transmission (I'd been used to driving a manual) and even connected my phone via Bluetooth. He called me a couple of days later to see how I was getting on with the car. I have no hesitation in recommending Zach if you're looking for a sports car that's in good condition, has no hidden horrors and is reasonably priced. His approach to the sale and after-sales care is very much appreciated.
