Had a solar panel fitted to my VW Camper. The owner of the premises and the person who undertook the work were both friendly and helpful. I am pleased with the standard of the work undertaken. However, there was a slight delay, which did not particularly bother me, other than the fact that another member of staff attempted to fob me off, instead of taking the time to find out what was happening, apologise, and reassure me that my van would be ready in time for a planned trip. Whilst I would not discourage others from using this business, the behaviour of this one member of staff ensures that I will never go back. It is a shame, as the owner was helpful in resolving another minor issue that arose.

We came to Downtide following a personal recommendation from another customer....and are very pleased we did. Every transaction carries a risk that some things may not go completely as all participants would wish and replacing a 5 year-old caravan with one twice its age only amplifies that risk....but while there have been a few issues, my strong belief is that true professionalism is demonstrated by the way in which those issues are overcome. In that respect, Downtide stands head and shoulders above other dealers we have visited and done business with before, so I'd like to offer our gratitude for the way in which you (collectively) have dealt with the arisings and turned what might have been major disasters into nothing more than a few ripples. While manning issues combined with high workload have sometimes made it slightly tricky to get hold of you, once contact is made everyone we have met has listened, come up with sensible, pragmatic solutions and maintained good humour throughout - this must surely be the way to keep customers happy and ensure they return and spread positive messages about your organisation. Most recently, particular thanks to the Workshop Team, who didn't flinch when I added several snags to the list when we brought the van in yesterday but talked us through possible delays and then exceeded our expectations by fixing every single defect I'd reported and having the 'van ready for collection the very same day. In summary, simply "Thank You" for all your efforts; be assured we will continue to recommend Downtide to our caravanning friends; it's been a pleasure doing business with you.

While on a campsite on the north coast of Norfolk I realised I’d forgotten the handle for my aqua roll. Drove here to buy a step and they also sold me the handle separately which I’d tried at other local dealers with no success. Easy to buy things and helpful with dare I say not bad prices compared to some other stores I’ve been to.

We bought our caravan from Downtide to enable us to see our son and his family after lockdown restrictions were eased. Nothing was too much trouble for them and after issues with our first purchase we were able to swap for another caravan. What a refreshing change to deal with honest people and people of integrity. Although we had a modest budget we were treated as if we had bought a new caravan. Would highly recommend Downtide to anyone.

Just been with my son to pick up his caravan. Unfortunately the tow bar on his truck gave us a few issues. The staff were fantastic and let us use the workshop and tools to rectify our problem. We recently bought a caravan from Downtide. Although we had a modest budget, they were helpful and friendly and were very generous with their time. They gave us 3 months warranty, and included many items within the price of the caravan. They gave us all the information and support we needed as new caravan owners. This dealership stood out for us compared to other local caravan dealers as being honest and friendly, they did not push sales and wanted to help us find something that suited us and our budget. I rang Downtide 3 weeks ago to inquire about a replacement door handle for my Swift caravan. They did not have one and indeed it turned out that throughout the country they are out of stock with retailers. The man I spoke to was incredibly helpful. He explained his brother works at the Caravan Acessorry Shop in West Runton and rang him to find out if he had one. He did and I collected it. This was personal exceptional help even though a sale was not in the offing.

Popped in on spec to see if I could buy a replacement cap for my Wastehog. Unfortunately they didn't have any in stock (supply chain issues like many retailers are suffering) but the chap in the Accessory shop (unfortunately I didn't get his name) was extremely helpful and found an old discarded one in the workshop. Payment was offered but declined so my Wastehog is once more complete and my faith in human nature restored a little. Thank you for excellent service.

As a family run business these folks go above and beyond with their excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction. A faulty light may only be a small thing to them, but it's a nuisance to us. However one phone call, and Henry came out to our home and fixed it.no hassle, no problem. Our last dealership, we had a cracked roof on a brand new unit, day one of purchase, and they weren't interested once we'd bought it. These folks are always interested, helpful, and very welcoming.. I highly recommend purchasing your vehicle from this company. You won't regret it.

Having arrived in Cromer from North Yorkshire, we pitched on site and the master power switch for our electrics dropped out. We thought we'd have to turn around and go home, but had the presence of mind to ring Downtide. Brought an Adria alpina Colorado from this company, back in April 2019. They could not do enough for us. When buying anything these days, be it a car ,caravan, or whatever, you like to know you are gonna get great after sales service. And this company does not disappoint. We had a couple of small issues with our lights and electrics in our new caravan, where immediately we got back to downtime, and with no fuss or fobbing us off,got straight on to solving the issues straight away, including coming out to the house and fixing the problems,and this was one of the bosses, not an engineer or workshop operative.This is a family run buisness with a care of duty to their customers, and like I said they do not disappoint.They are knowledgeable,appataining to all makes of caravans and accessories and helpful in everyway possible.
