Excellent from start to finish. The car was very professionaly prepared and paintwork correction done as asked. They also make sure the car leave with no advisories on a fresh MOT. Car had a small issue and Lee was extremely quick to get the car back immediately and got it sorted on the same day. Brilliant after sales service!!! I can definately recommend Ideal Car Ltd!!!

I recently decided to sell my Jaguar XJ6 as I was using it only periodically and it just sat on my drive.I was initially VERY apprehensive about handing over my £50k XJ to a dealer to sell but having visited their showroom and storage area my confidence increased and I decided to go ahead and for a modest fee agreed a price for them to sell my car.It took just two weeks and they had a cash buyer who responded to their excellent 360 degree video and sales description.The buyers offer was slightly less than my asking price but Ideal Cars contacted me and agreed the price prior to agreeing a sale.The money was in my bank within 3 days !!! Brought a car from this garage in November last year, the salesmen were both very friendly, we mainly dealt with Tan, they said that the car I wanted to view wasn't in the showroom, they would have to go and get it and I would have to come back later and view it. Car all seemed ok, they said that it had heated seats and electric windows (only the drivers side heated seat and electric windows worked), they made sure that an MOT was done in the car, before I was able to take it. Came back a couple of day later, MOT done on car and passed, took it for a test drive, however was o my able to take it round the block, as only had 6miles worth of petrol in it. The car came with the 3 months warranty, literally days after my warranty expired the gear box started to have issues and would struggle to pull off at traffic lights and get up to speed. My car may have just been a one off and because it was an older card, it was 05 plate. Make sure though a full check is done, when buying the car.

Gave us the key to start the car and allowed us to have a look around it on our own without breathing down our necks like a lot of car sales staff do. The car also hadn't been started before hand which allowed us to do a cold start and listen for any worrying noises. They allowed us to test drive the car and again, didn't talk or put the radio on so you could actually listen out for any rattles or knocks while driving. Although I chose not to buy the car for personal reasons the customer service and wide range of car's was exceptional.

Offer good trade in value but aftercare service needs improvement, car had a issue had to go back and was given no proof of work carried out for part warranty. Never once rang me after I picked the car up which was left on the road and keys with a neighbouring business to see if I'm happy with everything. A oil change never took place as they said so I had to arrange a service. Also after 5 weeks I never received a logbook or acknowledgement slip to say my old car was out of my ownership, so I had to sort this myself .car never had a Pdi check either with no document to proof.Overall room for improvement nice when taking money , not intrested afterwards.

Bought our Vauxhall Insignia this month from Ideal Car in Nottingham. Tom dealt with us. We travelled from York and Tom came back to work at 7pm to meet with us. Tom was knowledgable and courteous. Car wasn't quite ready to take away (small problem) Tom organised for it to be fixed and the car to be delivered to our home to save us a return journey to collect. He also offered an extended warranty with the car as an offer of goodwill. The Car arrived when it said it would and with warranty and documentation in place. We read some of the feedback once we'd put the deposit down and was on our way back home ... and we had a real panic on. But I can honestly say the team have been brilliant, communicated well and have gone over and above. Thanks Guys especially Tom
