Great experience buying from Matthew at Magic Cars after having an awful time with another dealer the week before. Matthew went above and beyond getting my chosen car to me as quickly as he could (even though I live over two hours away), it arrived at 8:40pm last night in immaculate condition and drives wonderfully. I bought a car from Magic Cars a year ago. I'd had particularly bad luck with buying previously from a private seller and then Hilton Garage at Derby and having lost 10k on 2 cars in just a year. To say I was nervous buyer is an understatement. I was in the market for a car that could get me 120 miles round trip a day, with comfort and I only had 5k. Marcin at Magic Cars was fab. He sold me a car that was perfect for the job and hasn't let me down in a year. I'm posting now because today I've taken that same vehicle back to Magic Cars and sold it back to Marcin (for a very good price having put 14k miles on the vehicle) and I think a seller that would take a car back a year later is definitely worth trusting.

Bought a Mondeo from here. Lovely chap, no pressure. Placed a deposit down to pick it up the next day. Everything was in order ready to go. Changed a tyre on request there and then. Had the car a week and it drives spotless. Can’t fault it.

After searching around looking for a second hand car, and, lets face it several 'not so nice' experiences I was almost giving up hope when I came across Magic Cars. After a search I found a lovely Ford Fiesta, low mileage and a great price - just what I was looking for, seemed almost too good to be true. I arranged a viewing and test drive and from that moment I knew this was the car that I wanted. Not just because the car was amazing but because of the customer care and attention I received from Matthew and his wife. I asked lots of questions and Matthew knows LOTS about cars, all of my questions were answered openly and honestly. I felt I could trust what these guys were saying, and I wasn't being 'fobbed' off. This place has very high standards, I unfortunately had a couple of problems with the car but these were fixed quickly and to the highest of quality under my warranty. I have had much experience of buying vehicles over the years and this was one of the absolute best; Matthew did everything he said he was going to, and gave me a fantastic deal and fantastic service...totally faultless and very friendly. Bought a 2011 focus 1.6 diesel from these guys without any hassle had the car delivered to me due to covid lock down though after a week an injector seal was leaking but they were happy to come from Nottingham to my town and fix my car while it's still under their 3 month warranty! Great guys i had abit of a chat and a laugh with them while they were fixing my car they will definitely help you anyway they can thumbs up! 👍

Bought a 58 plate Honda Accord 2.2 I DTEC with around 146k on the clock. Needed a low cost car to get me through a tight spot. Very good runner and the owner of Magic Cars is a good guy, we agreed a price and I picked up the next day at night after work which was very convenient. The car developed a grinding noise from the front brakes after 12 days, and after a discussion the owner agreed to change the brake pads, so I can confirm the after sales is very good. I've arranged this Saturday morning to take to his mechanic to repair. I've had no issues from viewing to buying and using the car, apart from the brakes. Highly recommended local trader, he's trustworthy, honest and decent, and I shall use again if needed. Thanks!

I feel the need to give this establishment a 5 star review as the proprietor has gone the extra mile . This is the 2nd car I have bought from this guy , i had my previous car for 2 years without any issues . I recently bought a lovely Mondeo Titanium 2.2 X at a good price and it looks 👌👌.. I have found this chap to be most courteous and respectful on both occasions . I had a minor issue on my way to work , I rang him to tell him the problem .It was 8 am in the morning . By 8.40 the same morning he had arrived at my workplace to pick the car up . At 6pm he returned to my workplace with the part replaced to drop the car back to me .. 100% after care service for sure .No quibble , no questions .. he did what he promised he would do when we struck the deal ..
