Motorprob inspected my first Porsche 911 during lockdown. Jeffs service was fantastic with a detailed report and brilliant communication. He was more than happy to negotiate with the garage which resulted in some money off the asking price a few problems sorted at their expense. The car arrived exactly as described and I'll highly recommend Motorprobe to anyone looking for a pre purchase inspection.

MotorProbe was very helpful with the purchase of my new Mercedes SLK. I was a little unsure buying the car due to the modifications that had been done, however the inspection completed by MotorProbe was very detailed and put my mind completely at ease. MotorProbe carried out the inspection of my last car and did the comprehensive inspection, purchase and delivery of my new BMW Z4 this year. As an engineer and car enthusiast, I would usually view and purchase my own cars, so I was hesitant about paying money to have an inspection carried out. The level of depth in the inspection report however is brilliant, finding niggles I would probably never have found, but it's the peace of mind from having a purchasing expert's qualitative feedback over the phone before committing to buying that was simply invaluable. I love cars, but know little about what goes on beneath the bonnet. So buying a second hand car is such a nervous time for me. After being recommended to MotorProbe by my local Porsche specialist, I thought it sounded a good idea. It turned out to be a tremendous idea, one which saved me time, anxiety, and money too. Jeff at MotorProbe talked me through his expertise (which is top notch) and we agreed for him to contact a dealer I'd found about a Porsche I had my eye on. From that point on, I had an expert on my side. Jeff's knowledge about cars and Porsches in particular is amazing. Even the dealer said he was impressed with what he spotted and his car detection skills. After sussing that the car sounded good on the phone, Jeff traveled to the dealer and spent 5 hours performing a Porsche specialist inspection. The report I received was super detailed and Jeff talked me through it in layman's terms. To top it all off, Jeff then negotiated on my behalf and I came away with a healthy saving. I really can't recommend Jeff and MotorProbe enough. I can now enjoy my shiny new pride and joy and not worry about it going pop because I'd missed something. Thanks Jeff.

Jeff completed a pre-purchase inspection on a lovely Porsche 911 996 Turbo for me. The whole process was smooth and reassuring. Nothing was too much trouble. Jeff was at the end of the phone for me from the day before the inspection right up to collecting the car with expert knowledge guiding me through. A detailed report was produced the day after the inspection, some 27 pages long! With copius detail and clear images of all parts of the car. Jeff was able to suggest remedial work which was undertaken by the dealer before collection and has given me a perfect idea of what restorative work might be required in the near future. I would highly recommend Jeff to anyone looking to purchase a Porsche of any age. You never know what you might find. In addition to this, a thoroughly nice guy too!

I am giving a 5 star rating based on correspondence with Jeff Bunney. I am buying a car from a small Porsche specialist who took umbrage at the idea of an independent inspection of the car. They service all vehicles and sell with a warranty so I respected their position and didn't go ahead with the inspection. In the meantime, Jeff was primed and ready to go and on hearing of the possibility of cancellation, gave me good advice on what to look for and reassured me that the reputation of the garage and warranty should suffice. He stood down with good grace. Should I feel the need, I will use Motorprobe in the future. Jeff had been recommended by a Porsche specialist in Oxford.

Highly recommended! When looking for our weekend car we were wary that parts & labour costs can quickly add up on performance vehicles and wanted an independent inspection to make sure there were no underlying issues. We had Jefferson accompany us for two inspections and the purchase of our Audi - his attention to detail and sixth sense for unsuspecting, dishonest sellers was more than worthwhile in preventing us from buying the first car which would have been a big mistake. Meanwhile, the repair estimates on the report gave great leverage to re-negotiate the price on the car we did buy. Will definitely be using MotorProbe again in the next year or two!
