I got my Peugeot 3008 6 weeks ago and it was the first time I’d purchased a car online and without seeing it due to COVID restrictions and personal events but I needed a car and sooner rather than later. The initial enquiry with Robins and Day was to be honest a little frustrating as after reserving a car online a call was scheduled which didn’t happen and I had to chase things up for a couple of days and that’s why I have deducted a star! Once I finally got to speak with Lew it was pretty smooth sailing… he sent a video through detailing the car, sorted everything pretty quickly once I’d agreed to purchase and even arranged to deliver it for free to my door which was great. I am very happy with the vehicle and the service from Lew… not ideal to buy a car blind but it was made very easy and the after service and follow up has been great too :) I would certainly buy again from Robins and Day and recommend them to anyone looking for a quality and trust worthy dealership… oh and ask for Lew! ;)

Contacted Robins & Day Peugeot Nottingham amongst other dealers (naturally) to ask for a competitive quote. I was very impressed and satisfied with the service received from Mr. Blaine Wright. Despite fully understanding that I was looking to choose between a range of vehicles (including other brands than Peugeot) he took time to explain how the quote works and sent me very competitive deals. Moreover I felt valued compared to some other dealers who seemed to be only interested if I was placing an order that very day! Whatever happened to research before buying? I first popped in to Robin & Day on the 8th Aug 21,I spoke with Gary Foster ,enquiring about the 2008 electric car ,he greeted me with a smile and showed me around the 2008 in the showroom every question I asked him ,he very politely answered with really good knowledge telling about the charge the car has what distance it can travel,where to charge it what monthly subscription to use he said go home and think about how much mileage you do ,speak with the husband (don't know why I've not even told him I'm looking ),after a week of looking at other vehicles I made a appointment to see and test drive the vehicle, Robin and Day called me and I booked in to test drive the 2008 with Gary ,I arrived today 17th Aug to be met by Gary we took the test drive in the 2008 where he showed me all the dials gadgets and gizmos the car has ,he trusted me to drive a automatic car something I've never done in my 37years !! I must remember to superglue my left foot down !!Wow was I nervous ! But he put my mind at rest ,I then tried the 208 which was a nice drive but a little to small for my needs .Gary explained all the paperwork and got me a latte while he did . So I've decided on the 2008 gt Gary explained how to charge the car and that I will have a call about the pod being put outside my house for charging .Just a little wait for my new car now ,but I couldn't be more happier with the service I've received by Gary Foster at Robin &Day . Well done so far a great relaxing experience .Looking forward to my car pick up day

They wanted the vehicle in for 0930 I told them what the problem was and gave them the AA breakdown report but they didn't start looking at the vehicle till 1330 and I was getting reports of battery failure and they couldn't start the vehicle I wonder why as the radiator fan wouldn't shut down!!! So come 1600hrs I was told they couldn't fix it today what a waste of the day 😒😑

Have used R&D for a few years for servicing my 308 and popped in one Sunday in late October to take a closer look at the new 2008 and two weeks was driving off in one. Prompt response to my initial enquiry, from Gary Foster, who conducted me very easily through the purchase negotiations by phone and email. Gary Foster was such a nice person and so very helpful. We came into your Company as we have previously used Harrisons at Lowdham but since they have lost their franchise and has been taken over by another company, things did not go well. We met one of your employees who gave us all the details of Robins & Day sometime ago. We wanted to part exchange our vehicle and was told at Harrisons our car was worth around £6,000...together with a lot of flannel which made us uncertain. The people were dressed very scruffily in t-shirts and jeans which did not give us much satisfaction. We met Gary and it was sorted out for us and it ended with us buying a car from you which was something we really wanted . He crossed all the i's and was very patient explaining all the details. To this end, we will be picking the car up next Thursday and can only thank Gary for his time and knowledge

Very pleasant, not over pushy salesman. Excellent, long test drive for both myself and my partner to assess the car. Negotiation went well, agreed that they would fix a rear fog light that was loose and was told the car would be valeted prior to collection a week later. Pointed out some algae in the front drivers and passenger side window rubbers, which he said he would flag up, but couldn't promise they would sort. On collection day we did all the paperwork in the showroom without seeing the car, he then brought it round left it running, and wishing is luck, practically ran back in the showroom. Mick checked they had done the rear light and I took it home. On inspection at home I was gutted. The car was covered in tar spots and blemishes which Mick and I then spent 5 hours T cutting and polishing the car to bring it up to the standard I was hoping for when I went to collect it. And the Algae, still there, to the extent you could see it from inside the car. Came out though with some mold and mildew remover and a felt pad that I use to clean my fish tank. Minimum effort prepping this car for me which was very disappointing but love the car now!!

I would just like to congratulate Robins & Day for being outstanding . Having visited numerous dealership franchises with extremely poor customer service issues were:
Uninterested after 40 mins in dealership( almost invisible) .
Told lies regarding questions asked
Not interested in test drives ( how do they expect to sell)
Staff not trained to answer questions on the vehicle
Chatted to each other at their desks.
Sent on a test drive with no fuel & empty washer bottles - rubbish in car door bins.
Promised to ring me several times- never happened.
I could go on !

What a difference , within 5 mins welcome reaction , Gary came down from his desk to chat about models of Peugeot 3008. I was given a hot drink and photo copies were taken of my licence and off we went for a test drive around Nottingham in their demonstrator we wasn’t asked for deposits , fuel or anything . Needless to say the car was amazing to drive ,so much for your money comes as standard. So a massive thanks go to Gary Foster & Blaine for all your advice , care & help and look forward to collecting my new car in May! 😁

As a dealer owned by Peugeot themselves they can access a very wide choice of 2nd hand and ex demonstrator vehicles.
