These guys were AMAZING in our hour of need. On the M40 on our way to Gatwick Airport we got a flat tyre. Really struggling to find anyone who 1) had our tyre size and make in stock and 2) could fit them. When we got through to Steve at Formula 1 we explained our predicament but he didn’t have the tyres in stock. We asked … cheekily … if we could purchase the tyres elsewhere would he be able to fit them. Frankly he couldn’t have been more helpful. We found the tyres at another garage nearby, who couldn’t accommodate us for fitting. As soon as we arrived at Formula 1, our car was in, on a ramp and about 30 mins later we were back on the road. Just BRILLIANT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I don’t mind shouting about them. If I lived locally I would definitely be a regular customer.

Great place! Have always taken my cars for mots at formula one, the same guy has done all my cars MOT which is nice! Staff are friendly and chatty and prices are very good! They even put the heat on ready for me in the waiting room! Highly recommend

These guys are the best. Very friendly, very experienced. Fixed a problem I had with my merecedes within minutes professionally. Witch about 4-5 Mechanics I went to couldn’t even diagnose the issue. Very highly recommend. Thank you very much. Specifically the manageress.

Booked for car air-conditioner cleaning, gas refill and a free spring service. Mechanics exhibited an average experience in car air conditioner service. I took my car to F1 autocentre at Cowley Oxford on 10th June at 04:45pm.
The price was alluring and with 10% NHS discount and I paid £64 at time of booking. However, my car didn't last longer than 5 mins inside the garage and the mechanic politely apologized, said that they couldn't do any thing to the air conditioner as a previously used anti leak sealant has clogged some valves. They said this requires a lot of replacements which is quite expensive and they don't do such kind of work.
No spring free check was done and I asked for a refund but they asked me to speak to admins. I sent to both costumer service and the local F1 a refund request and awaiting their reply to update my rating and review because this will reflect honesty.
Prior to bringing the car i already mentioned that a leaking agent was previously used which helped with minor leaks but the mechanic didn't seem familiar with that. I also said that i took it previously to Halfords autocentre who said there is a leak in system requiring replacement but the mechanic didn't advice me to cancel my booking with them.
I then googled about sealants' effects on valves and the evidence on this is very little. Experts on other websites state that if a sealing agent has clogged the cooling system valves then it can be drained out the pipes using some wash technique but the mechanics did not offer that. Thus would say there is possibly below average experience regarding issues with cars air-conditioning and is only limited to re-gassing a non defective system.
Hence, I would recommend that in case your car has no mechanical problems in its cooling system then they are the best for having a quick booking and a cheap price for a quick refill (as if going to a fuel station) as you will pay only for the price of the coolant cans and aircond cleaning is optional (+£10 or £15). This is unlike to what Halford shop do as they will charge you £50 extra labor work.
Otherwise the place was easy to find with available early booking slots and very polite staff.
There should be a mention on the F1 website that in case of mechanical problems 'like a leak or clogged valves, etc" then there is no repair available. Also why staff did not automatically report that they couldn't do any service to my car so that a refund to be issued rather than me chasing them now with emails! As no direct phone line to costumer service is available and you would end up talking only to the garage mechanics. I don't blame the mechanics as they are doing what they are assigned to do and within their capacity but the company needs to seriously work on improving its communication both internal (staff/departments) and with costumers.
A negative experience as I wasted a very precious time, had to leave hospital work (and may be money?) and wasted a possible earlier repair elsewhere during this hot weather. The mechanic had the chance to advice me not to proceed with the service (since they don't do relevant repairs if needed) when I phoned them 1 day prior to my car service.
Last point, when you book, you book for the day only, there is no time slot selection but you will need to book your time slot on the phone. Hence it would be difficult to plan a head for an appropriate time slot which matches with your schedule on the day of booking.
Please take my review as a constructive criticism as I am sure the company would excel in trying to improve its services by listening to its costumers' feedback.
I will update my review once I hear back from costumer service.

Update: I have received a refund confirmation email 4 days ago and I am waiting.
F1 team also tried contacting me via phone and then emailed me their explanation regarding some of what I have mentioned above with their apology.
Update, I got my refund after 7 working days. Initial refund wasnt actually executed so they kindly issued me a second one.
