It’s hard not to give this garage 5* when you look at the big picture. You’re dealing with general mechanics so they’re looking for root cause things; not what a computer says. They don’t o sr specialise so whereas they can’t fix everything they certainly can do a lot. They have never over charged me for work and have helped me for free at the drop of a hat with some issues including a bonnet that wouldn’t close and a knocking noise which turned out to be a loose brake calliper. The ways you can pay make it highly accessible with credit / financing options available to most people which saved my mates bacon one time when he had a LOT of work that needed doing. Are they perfect, no… once my tired I had ordered and paid for didn’t arrive on time and I had no flex in my schedule. These things happen. Do I trust them? 100% which is why they’re my go to garage here for most work in my car (except my service which is on a dealership service plan but I always opt to have consumables work done elsewhere and if I’m down south then it’s here!)…

Had flat tyre in Westgate carpark. AA did temporary repair. As long journey home we went to F1 automotive to ask for help to repair the tyre. I was recently post -op and feeling quite poorly, they were so helpful. Repair done within 45 mins, friendly caring staff. Cannot fault them. Thanks so much

I would like to pass on my compliments to Steve and Ian at Autocentre, Oxpens Oxford. At short notice before they closed on a hot Sunday. Steve looked at my Nissan Qashqai rear tyre that had a screw in it at an awkward angle. It was difficult to get out but he did it. It didn't damage the inner tyre, so no charge. I highly recommend Formula One. I stopped by on my way home after someone told me I had a flat tyre. As I am quite a newish driver I didn't have a clue what to do. Steve and Tom were brilliant and pumped up my flat tyre without charge. It was a particularly horrible week (including my Mum's funeral) and Steve and Tom were so kind and really helped me out at a stressful time. They also replaced my tyres today which I'm really pleased with. It was done with professionism and brilliant customer service. Great price too! I’ve used this branch for MOTs for years. This year, I was shown a broken coil spring- no doubt a fail. The repairs were carried out two days later at a very keen price. Efficient, friendly and fairly priced. What’s not to like?

They're nice and will do the job but will massively over-charge. Had an MOT done for a fair price but was then quoted £120-£130 for a drop link change which I got done at East Oxford Garage for £60. Just as nice but half the price.

They did a comprehensive service which was quite expensive, but the car needed it and drives much better now. They couldn't quite get it ready when they said they would, but it wasn't their fault, a wrong part was delivered. Communication was good. Will use again.

I don't know who has written the bad reviews for this place but it is the 2nd time I have taken my mitsubishi colt in for it mot and repairs.both times I have hadnothing but straight up answers and prices.and both times I have had nothing but polite and great customer service.it might help that I understand they have to order parts so ther is always going to be some form of waiting time due to the supplier not being next door. On top of that they could have overcharged me this time to have a headlight replaced. Due to the lense being to old and very cloudy and very yellow. They called me to let me know they are going to give it a scrub and it should solve it. Saving me at least £200 - £300+. I'll always come back thanks to the way they have treated me.signed Lee mossop and his clapped out colt.

I researched prices extensively online before choosing F1 Autocentres, as they were the cheapest I could find in the local area. I arrived early, and my appointment actually had not been booked on their system. However, this was not a problem and they completed the replacement of two tyres in 50 minutes whilst I walked into Oxford and had lunch. Friendly service, good prices, and they allowed me to pay my invoice over 4 equal monthly instalments at 0% interest.

Used Oxford branch for mot at reduced rate. First time I had used this service and expectancy was not high. Booked on line and had to pay in advance but no problem to do. Waiting area Spartan but clean and tidy. Car failed but Colin, the tester, went out of his way to explain why and gave me photocopy of regs. I sorted out the fault and returned the car same day and it was passed after demo. I can't fault the service. Only concern would be the provision of disposable seat covers as overalls can get oily. I didn't see any being used but I may be wrong? Will use again even if I have to provide seat protection.

Took our car here for MOT for first time this week. Plenty of space to park up & guys on reception were polite & helpful. While it was being tested I walked over road to Westgate shopping centre & had a wander round John Lewis & had a cuppa in their coffee shop. The They called me when it was all done & I walked back over to pick car up. All very easy & straight forward. DIDN'T take all day plus courtesy car like our usual garage we've used before. Highly recommend this place.

I have used them for tires and alignment with excellent results. I found the best deals at their website and once used a price match deal! Tire fitting and balance has always been perfect. Wheel alignment is particularly good, I have had a number of cars done by them and each one tracks better than before with the steering wheel perfectly centered. Staff and friendly and helpful and they are open 7 days a week.

I booked my car in for an aircon re-gas. Staff were very helpful polite and friendly. The technician started the re-gas but found there was a leak in my cars aircon system, so could not complete the task as they were not equipped to carry out the repairs that were required. I was not charged for this diagnosis and a full refund of my prepayment was given the same day. I would have no hesitation in returning to Formula One Autocentres in the future or recommending their service to others.

Easy to book and pay online. Friendly honest staff. Not the absolute cheapest, but local, efficient and convenient. Master service is very thorough. Waiting room is clean and comfortable. Most importantly, as a female, they didn't try and rip me off.

Ordered tyres from F1 Autocentre online and had them fitted at Oxford branch. Great price and overall very happy with customer service and standard of tyre fitting. Minor issue was delay to my selected time slot but this was explained when I arrived. A text message to update customer with new time slot would be an improvement.

Can't recomend highly enough took both my cars to Oxpens Oxford for their mot's after one of them failed its mot at another companies national service centre for something that wasn't wrong and they tried to charge for work it didn't need F1 passed it instantly and gave us advise as to what would need looking at in the future. The second car needed some work which they explained and showed me what needed doing and even how to do it so that it could pass.The prices quoted were very competitive with no hidden extras or unneeded work,everyone was very helpful, trustworthy and professional.We will definitely be using F1 again

Since 22May 2018, i had done 3 MOTs here and all passed with flying colours. I booked through online and paid in advance each time, discounted at more than half the maximum chargeable price of ￡54.85. Has two rear RFT tyres replaced here because Formula One has the policy of matching the market price for tyres. There is a waiting area. Staffs are friendly and courteous. Beginning of October 2018, going to replace my NS RF tyre here either on Saturday or next week due to puncture. (RF tyre cannot be repaired if puncture) Instead of doing it online i tried the traditional way over the phone. Can't beat the price on GoodYear tyre offered by F1. See you soon. Done, good job, polite, courteous and helpful staff. May 2019 pass the MOT without any problem. Thank you Formula One.
