Brilliant service by Sam and Gareth@ Waylands, I purchased a low mileage XC40 recharge as a company car for a new starter at short notice over the phone, due to global supply issues on all new vehicles. Sam was very helpful and quick to respond, the vehicle was processed and delivered within days, smoothly and efficiently. This means we have given our new employee not only a seamless start but also a really fantastic vehicle
There was an electric Volvo on my company car list, so I called ahead to see if I could take a look at one. Although I gave little notice Sam suggested I pop along. I was made very welcome and was talked through the vehicle. Sam also said it would be no trouble to take it for a test drive.
Despite my interest being a fleet car and therefore there being no direct sale, I was treated with courtesy and given all the information I needed to make an informed decision. My best experience at a dealership so far. Excellent service and what turned out to be a really nice car. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
First service my VOLVO. Excellent customer service from Vicki. I was kept fully informed about the status, when the car would be collected and when it would be returned. Similar customer service from Harry, who came to collect my car. He called to let me know he was on his way and on return ensured the car touched points were sanitised. Both Vicki and Harry were very friendly whilst maintaining their professionalism, which is not an easy combination to achieve. Thank you.
We ordered a new car with Andre's friendly and helpful assistance in September 2021. He explained that the model and spec. that we ordered would not be available until at least February this year but kept us informed of the expected build date on a regular basis. Our car arrived in late March and Andre quickly arranged a collection date. Excellent service throughout.
Superb collection and delivery service. Phil arrived punctually and is a huge asset to the driving team with the bonus of some diagnostic skills as an ex workshop member of staff. Vicky’s communication was excellent. She kept me updated more than once during the day! Altogether a flawless experience with courteous Volvo staff.
I recently picked up my new XC40 at the beginning of March, Gareth was and the team were very friendly and helpful and got me a good price within my budget. Was very happy with the service on being up to date on where my car was during the manufacturing process. I did have some paper work that needed signing before pick up day and due to not having a car at that point Sam was very helpful by sending Ollie round to my house to get the paper work signed off so I could pick up my car the following day. Overall very happy with service and would highly recommend this dealership.
The pick up of my vehicle was on time and conducted by an extremely friendly, informative and courteous gentleman (Phil). I was notified of my car’s safe arrival at the garage. I was again notified when the service was complete and the outcome and when the car would be delivered home. The car was deliver home by Phil in a gleaming state only a few hours after being picked up in the morning. What excellent service.
Nick was excellent from start to finish. I came to the dealership not really sure what model I’d like and was comparing the cars Volvo had on offer to rival brands such as Audi and BMW. Volvo came out on top but I feel this is mainly due to Nick’s customer service driving the product and actually being proactive in allowing me to experience the vehicle with two test drives and really making it work for me. Would absolutely buy from here again and would recommend.
It would be injustice if I don't rate this dealership. Bought my 1st Volvo today. I dealt with Megan S from 1st phone call to drive away. She is highly professional, polite, doing the extra miles to take care of the customer. She deserves a pay rise and worth keeping employees like her. Couldn't fault anything negative. Facility had plenty of parking, good toilets, modern showroom and nice ambient. Highly recommended and good price.

I found the car I wanted and made an enquiry online and I was contacted by Andre, who couldn’t have been more helpful. He asked if I wanted a video of the car sent to me, which he arranged and followed this up a day later with an agreed phone call. I made my purchase and Andre also arranged delivery which I can’t thank him and his delivery driver enough. My car arrived at the agreed time and I was given time to look over it to make sure everything was as described, and again this was followed up by a phone call from Andre to check I was happy with my purchase.

Excellent service from Phil and Vicky of Waylands Cumnor Hill, Oxford today, Vicky kept me fully informed as to the progress of work on my V60 and Phil was very punctual collecting the car and returning it this evening. Can't believe how jovial he still was despite it being 7pm as he had left with my car at 8am. Definitely recommend Waylands if you're looking for a Volvo or an MG.

Just bought a new Volvo XC90 from stock with the help of Rob Childs at Waylands and was definitely a five star experience.
We had been looking at cars for the last few months to try and find one with the spec we wanted and had a mixed experience with some dealers, but experience with Rob was very positive right from the start.
Since we had the same model before was doing everything remotely but Rob went out of his way to send multiple videos of the car itself, other cars to show how the colour looked in different light, interior movies to show the new features and options etc etc.
Also because Volvo had changed spec/trim options quite a few times since our previous 2018 car Rob also went out of his way to dig out the relevant details for the new car from when it was originally ordered, rather than some other dealers who just sent the current spec guide which only helps if you’re looking to order a car and wait >12 months.
Even with all these spec changes and updates Rob’s product knowledge was really strong, and he was able to clarify some confusing info I’d been given from another dealer about the my22/my23 differences.
In addition to all the videos, Rob was really responsive via email, which for me made a big difference doing everything remotely and not having much time for lots of phone calls, whereas some other dealers tended to go for days before replying.
Sales process was very smooth, did obviously get asked about options / extra packages but always felt like it was balanced and focused on my needs as a customer rather than a pure hard sell which would have turned me off.
Towards the end our circumstances changed and so I unexpectedly asked to move the pickup date earlier by three weeks, but Rob sorted it all out with his colleagues at the dealership and everything went well.
Importantly, even with a few minor things we spotted at pickup, there was no drama, the very helpful master tech at Waylands immediately stepped in and resolved them all while we finished off the paperwork which meant I could head off on quite a long journey with no delays.
Apart from the sales/service collaboration mentioned above, was good to see that within the business group there was strong team collaboration with Sam and Natalie helping out as well.
So all in all a very positive experience and can thoroughly recommend you getting in touch with Rob if you’re interested in a Volvo!

I visited Waylands recently looking to find my next Volvo. I had an appointment with Megan, who arranged for me to test drive two cars, a PHEV and an EV model. her professional approach, advice and product knowledge was 1st class. Unfortunately for Megan, I found the exact model I wanted elsewhere but, I will definitely return to Megan at Waylands in the future.
I’ve just brought an XC90 from Nick Stacey at Waylands Oxford and can’t fault them. There approach to business and getting a deal done was how it ought to be, no messing around, just got on with it. Nick also made a personal video of the car for me to show me some of the key feature - whilst I just expect a 1-2 minute video, it was done very professionally with intro and everything. Great great service, Nick really made the process very simple and quick but without the usual rushing. Am very much pleased with my XC90 and couldn’t recommend Nick at Waylands any more. Many thanks.

Sensed the team was all working hard together to support both myself and each other through the process. Total transparency about the whole process and took time to run through the options. Went the extra mile to get the vehicle I wanted in from Bristol for me to see and test drive. No pressure sales and client service at the forefront. Some extra special touches such as when everything completed the Manager came out to personally check I was happy with everything. Impressive - well done!

I wanted to test the Volvo XC40 Electric. It was very easy to book the test drive online and I received a call back straight away to confirm it and ask if I had any questions. When we arrived for the test drive the process was very smooth and we were well looked after by Oliver. Oliver explained the key functions of the car and what I would need to know to go out on the road and made sure all my questions were answered. All in all a very smooth process.

Andre was the most outstanding car salesmen I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with.
Waylands Volvo saved our French road trip when our XC60 stopped responding to the accelerator the afternoon before we were due to leave. Using Volvo On Call supported by Waylands (Emma) the car was recovered, taken to Waylands and prioritised into the workshop where the issue resolved and a full vehicle inspection carried out... and all covered under warranty too. We left for our road trip an hour early!

All in all a good experience although there were a few teething problems regarding finance on handover, it was dealt with, as there had been a miscommunication regarding amounts being put on a card.
Only thing on my arrival, was that lots of people were stood around talking. I was attended to after a couple of minutes and then offered a drink as I had driven 2 hours to collect our new car.
The site was clean and tidy with great scandi seating areas.
Our new car is fantastic and as described and we love it, the only downside is that it had no screen wash in the bottle which I thought was an MOT failure?, very little ad blue which I thought would have been topped up and the glove box hadn't been cleaned out of food crumbs but I hadn't noticed this until I got home.
Rob Childs was good to deal with, knowledgeable and not pushy. He also offered us fuel to get us back home which was very generous.
Rob dealt with the handover really well, explained clearly about the features of the new car so 10/10 for him.
Hopefully the promise of a gift in the post arrives.

From the point of view of dealing with the service department, my experience was top drawer. The staff were all attentive and cheerful, which stands out amongst many other dealers who often leave customers wandering around without a greeting. This demonstrates to me that they value customers and possibly even enjoy working with them! I’m confident that the correct work was done on my car as they answered all of my questions with a full understanding of my concerns. The waiting area is pleasant too. Having tried to find an XC90 for a few weeks, I eventually found the one I wanted at a dealer locally. Unfortunately, their service wasn’t brilliant, so the search continued.
I subsequently found a superior vehicle with Waylands at a really competitive price, so gave them a call. I was put through to Rob Childs, who is clearly passionate about his job and gave me confidence in the dealership. I was honest about the price I wanted to pay and he couldn’t have tried harder to get sort it out for me. Needless to say, within two hours I had agreed a price and paid a deposit, all without seeing the vehicle.
Rob then managed to get the vehicle serviced and ready for collection in under 36 hours, which was great! He did offer to have it delivered too, but I fancied picking it up. On collection he took the time to go through the vehicle in intricate detail, making sure I was completely happy prior to leaving.
All things considered, this was a great experience. I can’t recommend Rob and Waylands enough.

I had a problem with my c70 cabriolet with my brake light switch which was difficult to get out and brake lights where continuously on and needed replacing which I had a spare in my possesion
matt at the service desk tried really hard to assist me with this trying to fit me in the car was needed to get to work so couldn't leave it he spent time with the mechanic to see if they could do something but were very busy .I would use here another time if I require help again and if I had loads of money one day buy a new volvo.the environment was really good with many other staff checking I was being looked after I changed a newer car for this volvo as I wanted something more classic thanks again

I never thought I would say this about a dealership service but what a fantastic experience we had. Our car was having some engine issues our regular shop was struggling to pinpoint. We brought it to the dealer after spending a bit of money on guesswork basically. Maybe the previous work had helped/ maybe not - but the engine issues the other shop couldn't get a handle on were quickly diagnosed by the Waylands service team, parts ordered in, and work done within 24 hours. I received regular updates, advice on some other questions, and amazingly a video from the service technician giving a walk through of the overall status of our car (nothing further needed).... The staff was friendly, responsive to our needs, and all work was done as stated.
Our Volvo is now purring like a kitten, and we will be using Wayland's Oxford for all of our service needs going forward.

I needed to take my car to a main dealer because of a technical fault that my normal garage wouldn't deal with. I was concerned about the price I would be charged...they fixed these fault quickly and charged me a lot less than i feared and even about half the price of the estimate!!

I have been driving Mercedes and Bmws for over 15 years and I have never experienced such fantastic service. The receptionist offered me drinks and tea so frequently during the first service of my car. Believe me, I thought I was in a Michelin star restaurant. The service staff was very knowledgable and polite. Volvo is lucky to have a dealership as good as this one in Oxford. Thank you all at Waylands.

I went to Waylands Volvo Oxford after a enquiry about a new car that I’m currently interested in buying. The advisor was very polite and made a effort to find a suitable deal for my needs. The only problem I had here is that I never got the answer to that. I’ve been offered a used or a pre-registered car(which is kind of a new car!) and never had a quote for the specification that I’ve requested.
At the end we left with a pricey quote, when compared to other dealerships that can offer the car that I want on a reasonable price and with good discounts as well.
In spite of that, I’m rating this dealership with a positive review given the fact that we were attended very politely, been offered a test drive on a similar car that we are interested in buying. Even got a phone call from the manager asking me if there was anything else that they could do to help us on the best deal possible.
Steven went above and beyond to sort quick delivery of my approved used Volvo while I had to isolate, pleasant service and lovely car.
Changing cars isn't something we enjoy doing, but Dave Taylor's knowledge, ability to understand what we cared about, and good humour made this as smooth and as painless as it could be. I had a great experience at Waylands Oxford because we got a really good deal on a 2019 XC90 plug-in hybrid, as it just happened to be an event weekend when we went there on spec. In fact we hadn't actually gone there to buy a car - just to see what was around on the market. The Sales Executive, Rob Childs, was really helpful and knowledgable and showed us the various features on a couple of cars of interest, without pushing us to buy; but before we left we decided to go ahead and take the plunge, including a good trade-in on our Mitsubish Outlander PHEV saving us the hassle of a private sale. The handover was quick and easy and once we've read through the 718 pages of the manual, we'll know exactly what the car can do and how to manage it! I used to have an S60 R, which I loved but the XC90 is even better.

My experience was totally positive. I had a Sat Nav issue. Arrived 2 hours earlier than my booking slot. They managed to fit me in almost straight away and solved the problem within 45 minutes - telephoning me in town to advise me. Admittedly it wasn't a mechanical problem and I was seen by a manager which undoubtedly oiled the process - but in view of earlier negative comments they have earned a plus from me.

I had to get a replacement bulb for my V70 I was greeted by a lovely lady on reception and was doubt with by a young lad in parts who was very helpful and friendly I would defiantly use again.
as usually great service, quick and professional.....so far just good experoience with them....once I just popped in with my volbo as there was a clutch paddle noise which I was worry about ...and they kindly inspected and sorted it for free with some lubricant
