Bought a car for my daughter from Aster Cars, dealt with Peter and what a breathe of fresh air Aster Cars is. It's so nice to find a car dealer that actually cares about the vehicle he is selling and the customer that is interested in buying the car. Peter mentioned he thought clutch was starting to show signs of wearing but no worries he changed the clutch, serviced, mot'd, changed front pads and discs, deleted and then delivered to us on the edge of Northampton. Such a pleasure dealing with Aster Cars, one to remember.

Amazing, honest, hassle free service from start to finish from Pete. I viewed the car and was very happy with it so I paid for it. Pete said he would check a few things to make sure it was all good to go before delivering it to me (Free of charge!) I'm in Norwich so not exactly nearby either. Fantastic service from Peter. My son had his eye on a car for a few weeks on the forecourt so I gave Peter a call! Right from the start he was helpful, friendly, professional and couldn’t do enough for us to get an amazing deal. We were going to surprise my son with the car and Peter helped us with the week long suspense!! Absolutely fantastic garage, if I could give 10 stars I would. Went to look at a small car for my elderly mother, booked a viewing due to COVID restrictions & were very impressed car was open on forecourt ready to view it was spotlessly clean & looked great, test drove went well Pete was great, he was friendly & informative we felt no pressure to make a decision at all. We bought the car which Pete arranged to deliver a couple of days later prior to delivery the car was serviced & they replaced the battery. I would highly recommend this garage, they have quality cars at reasonable prices & they offer a honest friendly service!

I had been searching for a nice first car for my daughter on all of internet sites and it was with Aster Cars that I found the best deal. We took delivery today of our new (used) car from Aster Cars, and want to give them our highest marks. Excellent service and customer care, and compared to the other used car dealers we met during this car buying journey, they were a breath of fresh air. Professional, and they clearly care about the quality of cars they sell, as well as their presentation. None of the other dealers made any noticeable attempt to present the cars well or to discuss their history, and Aster were aware they were perhaps a more traditional/old-fashioned car firm in this respect. Well, it certainly made a difference to us, so keep up the excellent work. Would recommend Aster to anyone looking for a quality used car.

Recently bought a black Honda Civic from Aster Cars, on first inspection the car was kept in great condition, had been cleaned inside and outside. Upon entering the building Pete met me and was incredibly kind and helpful with everything, told me a brief history of the car and we came to a fair agreement on the price. I was told the car would be given a service, clean and MOT as part of the agreed price and that the car would be ready in a weeks time. One week later i called back up and was told the car was all sorted, it had been given a fresh MOT, serviced and had a lovely clean up before i picked it up, car in fantastic condition. I've had the car around 2 weeks now and the only issue I've had is that one of the tyres seems to have a slow puncture, this could have happened at any time however and in no way blemishes the fantastic customer service I received at Aster Cars. I have since recommend to multiple friends and work colleagues that they should try this garage, this will be my first stop whenever I decide to look for another car in the future.

We had been looking for a small second hand car for our daughters 18th birthday and I had viewed a number at various car sales. When I saw Aster Cars had a Peugeot 107 for sale I contacted them for further details. Peter, contacted me and I arranged to view the car. It was exactly as Peter had described, yes it had a few bumps and scratches but it is a second hand car. Peterband I undertook a test drive and we were out for a decent amount of time putting the car through it’s paces. It drove nicely and we discussed a few things that I would like doing, nothing major but things that I had noticed. The car was put through a Service and MOT, so we got a full 12 months plus a one month warranty. We collected the car and drove it home the 35 miles, my daughter was very happy with her little car. 3 weeks after purchasing the clutch went, I spoke to Peter and there was no issue, get it to them or get it to a local garage and it would be sorted out. Peter was a real gentleman about this and even our local garage have stated he is a gentleman getting the work undertaken as they have had many issues where car companies have walked away even with a warranty. Peter liaised with the garage and they both contacted me when the car was ready. I feel Aster Cars are honest gentleman trying to do the best for their customers. Second hand cars are what they are mechanical devices that sometimes will fail it’s how these failures are resolved and I am more than willing to recommend Aster Cars.

The best, hassle free, honest and genuine experience I've had buying from Aster Cars. Picked up a superb Toyota Yaris this weekend. Peter has been fantastic, from the minute I spoke to him, to picking up the car, he sorted everything that needed doing. This is what you call real customer service!!! They paid to do an MOT on the car free of charge before I got it and repaired any minor faults or problems that I subsequently had. Recently purchased a Clio 07 plate from here. Messaged the owner on the Sunday, enquiring. He gave details and more Specifications about the car. Saw it on the Monday morning, he gave all facts and figures about the car and told me as much as he knew. Was really helpful. They aren’t trying to sell you anything you don’t want, just there to help and Give their knowledge. After this, I signed paper work for the car. The price was really good. The Owner went above And beyond to make sure I was happy. It seems they understand that reputation is everything in a small town. He replaced the fuse board without Needing asking (cost him over 200, I saw the paperwork) they don’t let the car leave unless they are happy with it. If something needs sorting he will do it. This is the second car I have got from them, won’t hesitate to Recommend, or Buy from them again. A lot of second hand car delearships, can seem very dodgy. I looked at others and get Pressured, or like I was going to get something that wouldn’t last. Trust this one. It’s a great place to get a second hand car from.

Would you make a 180miles round trip drive to buy a car from mike and peter of aster cars? the answers for me is most definably, simply because they had given me a fully honest description of the car in question and where able to furnish it with a pre owned history. the VW golf plus was exactly as they had described and the priced at an honest level. Pete was a true gent on the day and went above and beyond to help me. Their is a lot to be said about good old fashion customer service, and aster cars had it in bucket loads but also have it backed up with all the regular modern services and features required . I could have bought my car from a modern dealer but I doubt I would have gotten the same honest helpful service I received from these guys. I tip my hat to you and simply say thank you.

I had been looking for a small car for my 18 year old son for some time and visited a number of "garages", when I say garages in this instance I should say scrap yards full of cars that really shouldn't be allowed on the road. Then I came across Aster cars advertising a nice looking Renault Twingo at the right price. I phoned and arranged to view the car the following day,. What a pleasant surprise it was when I arrived, professional looking set up with a large forecourt full of cars. The Twingo was cleaned and ready for inspection and looked great, following the test drive we agreed to purchase the car there and then. We pointed out a few minor issues that needed resolving, 1 of the tyres had sidewall wear, 1 of the headlamps had water ingress and the air con wasn't as cold as it should be. Peter said no problem at all and agreed to rectify and do a full service before we collected the following week. On collection everything had been addressed as promised, 1 brand new Uniroyal tyre fitted, a brand new headlight from Renault (with receipt), the aircon re-gassed and a full service complete with a 1 month no quibble warranty. Would I recommend this garage, absolutely yes. If they have a car you think you are interested in, take the time, travel and see it and I'm confident you will buy it.

The other week I recently had a car accident up the road from Aster cars near mccainnes and my car was a write off.. When we tried to get he car off the road and back home it just so happened that my cars electrics and battery stopped just outside aster cars. It was there that I found my beautiful new Volkswagen fox,I took it for a test drive and fell in love.
