Been buying from BCA for close on 25 years. The Mercedes was not as description and after a couple of hours of fighting my corner, the Manager decided to do the right thing. This may go against the grain with regard to company policy, as generally BCA struggle to see past the short term. I was correctly afforded a full refund for a car that was ,(several days later, re - entered as a non runner). The refund was processed and in my account within 7 working days. A new World record.There was no compensation for lost income, or travelling expenses incurred by utilising the rail service and taxis from East Sussex to Peterborough and back. A twelve hour day on a busy Friday. In short, I found the one Manager with integrity who was backed up by equally conscientious admin staff. It nearly brought a tear to my eye!🤭 Although I was wronged and treated with contempt from the day they auctioned the car, I am perversely grateful that a glint of morality shone through those concerned on the day. The same couldn't be said of Andrew Mcdonald, Head of Operations Midlands and General Manager of BCA Bedford & Peterborough. He minced around the office,( obviously just passing through), smiling and grinning at whoever caught his eye. He caught mine and I asked him if he was the Manager,(knowing full well who he was), but he muttered some evasive response and minced over to the corner of the office to whisper with colleagues while looking over his shoulder in my direction. He smiled like the python from Jungle Book throughout and slithered out of the door. Definitely no vertebrae! The Centre Manager who resolved the issue was Marzena Bugbee. She was lucid of thought and prepared to converse directly. Consequently doing the right thing,( which has given me a glimmer of hope for the future when dealing with BCA). Waj Saddique, Inventory Manager, tried his best to rebuff me and is a credit to the BCA ethos of, " keep them in the dark and feed them s..t!". He eventually saw the light and accepted that BCA had tried their best to con a repeat customer who depends on their honesty to forge a living. Ultimately a difficult day and the 4 stars are for Marzena Bugbee and her colleague in accounts who were as good as their word. Not an appraisal generally afforded management of BCA.

I am often here delivering motorcycles, always a positive experience when i do come to BCA Peterborough, all staff are polite & freindly. Delivering is an easy straightforward process, unlike some of the other sites in the organisation.

I’ve been a few times now to BCA Peterborough as a transport allways very welcoming cheerful staff and quick service plus take you to the car which other BCA’S don’t do. One of the Staff Simon Within Few minutes everything is sorted compare to other BCA’S I’ve been too And also helps you towards the car again a very good Service at Peterborough BCA!!!

Just bought 2nd bike from BCA Peterborough. Good price and nice low buyers premium. Staff on auction day were all really helpful and friendly. Had a bit of wait for bid to be accepted by Police. But all good. Food in cafe looked good, but only had time for tea.

Well run and accessible. Good on site cafe with friendly staff. If you're in the trade it is an interesting experience, especially if you're a petrol head. BCA are a very experienced car auction company.

Well organised food and drink unavailable. Office staff look miserable online bidding and hall bidding. Annoying that I saw Asian guys bidding and then just as the car is to be sold withdrawing the bid, this caused confusion. Any rather bloody annoyed me as you think the car is at 4k then just as hammer cones down bid with drawn and the value is moved it's not consistant with good manners

Having been going to motor auctions for about 30 years now I have watched BCA grow. They have masses of vehicles passing through and the choice as has been for many years now is enormous. I have to say that over the years I have seen large increases in their charges and also the auction sale prices are up due to the increased number of buyers attending. There are two cafes on this one in Peterborough and the staff in the cafes and the administration areas are very helpful and friendly.
