Bought an audi a6 avant S-line on finance from here at the beginning of August. The car was very well presented and Ian was pleasant to deal with, very patient with our baby daughter needing changing room/feeding while doing the viewing and whatnot. Let me have a while to fiddle with the cars controls etc. Leaving the showroom for a few hours and then coming back with a decision. My only criticism would be the gentleman that we did the test drive with was a bit short at the end "are you going to buy it or what!" Not sure if that was his nature, but again we where dealing with Ian appart from that, others we spoke to where pleasant 😀. Once the car was bought, he took me through taxing it, and moving my private plate over online, again he was patient with me, allowing me to drive my p/ex home to empty the large dog cage out of it and pick the car up next day. On pickup Ian very clearly explained the warranty cover was for drivetrain and engine only and I'd need to get the car back to him if I was to claim on it, if I paid extra I can increase the warranty cover and take the car to a local garage instead. Iv had the car 6 weeks roughly and I am very pleased with it. Couple of minor issues which I expected but no giant headaches. These guys deserve a 5 star review and I wish them success throughout 🙏

Not a bad word to say! I hadn't realised at first that I had done business with these guys before, many years ago I bought a superb Audi RS3 off them when they used to trade from home. It's fantastic to see that they have come further and upgraded to a lovely and well presented showroom. On this occasion I bought a BMW M5 from them which was quite frankly, immaculate. Nothing I wouldn't expected to have seen on a 1 year old car. It was a real pleasure to deal with them, sit and chat etc. I would recommend them based on two experiences with them. Put it this way, they don't have time to waste your time over rubbish. They like to get it right the first time around and maintain a relationship for the future.

Fantastic service from start to finish. I was looked after and given the opportunity to take my time and make the final decision. Finally decided to purchase the car and had it over 2 months now.They didn't lie about anything whereas past dealers have not been totally honest these guys were fully open and transperent about the details on the car. I couldn't find the same 3 series at the price I bought it from Max Motors anywhere and all I can say is thank you as I am more then pleased with the car for the price I paid.

Having just purchased a car from this company I’d highly recommend them & would definitely use them again. Seen the car on Auto Trader which appeared well presented with good info & photos. As I’m almost 2 hrs away I contacted them to see if I could give a refundable deposit just to hold the car for my trip to view it. Spoke to Jay the owner who was very polite saying no need we will hold it until you arrive. The car was ready when I arrived as promised & with no silly sales talk like a lot of places Sue gave me the keys & left me to look at the car in my own time. Took the car for a test drive & again no mention of any pushy sales talk. As it was the first car I’d looked at, I was allowed to put a deposit on the car just to hold it until the following day allowing me to view 2 cars closer to home. Bought the car & collected the following day. Again dealt with Sue who was great. No trying to get me on finance like a lot of garages & the car was good to go when I arrived. Having read mixed reviews, I must say some of the negative reviews from people travelling long distances is a tad unfair. Jay and Ian are sales people so when travelling 86 miles to see a car, we knew that when we arrived the car we wanted may have been sold. Some reviews on here are so unfair saying Max Motors2 said a car was still for sale but when they arrived the car had been sold. How did Max Motors2 know you would turn up? So, anyone wanting to travel to see a car should either pay a deposit before leaving or take a chance that when you arrive, the car is still for sale. My daughter had been looking for a Mini Countryman for 6 weeks with no luck. However, the car at Max Motors2 was 1 1/2 hours away so we gambled that it would still be for sale when we arrived. We called ahead to let the guys know what time we would be arriving, when we arrived the car was ready for us to view, Ian left us alone for 10-15 minutes whilst we had a good look. Then we took the vehicle for a drive and returned to the garage very happy. The car price was non negotiable which Ian advised as soon as we arrived. But in all honesty, having looked at similar spec cars for 6 weeks the screen price on this car was very good. All cars are under cover and look in tip top condition. We decided to buy the car and again, the decision was made without any sales pressure. The cars that Max Motor2 sell are prestigious cars so they would have no problem selling them. We paid a deposit and agreed to pick the vehicle up a week later. Ian sorted the tax out on the car for us and we drove away very happy. Max Motors2 can also provide extended warranties but we chose to source our own as it was cheaper and it came with a free vehicle health check. Sadly this is where a star was lost, a truer rating would be 4.5 but reviews don't allow that. Upon getting the vehicle a health check, the 4 brake discs were reported as well below manufacturers standard and need replacing ASAP. The vehicle came with an 11 month MOT. The warranty company and the Garage that performed the health check confirmed that the brake discs and pads needed changing very soon and the fault should have been listed as an advisory with the MOT certificate. We changed the discs and pads at a cost of £385.00 but in the knowledge that the car was now in excellent condition throughout. Now it is important to know that the fault was in no way attributable to the selling of the vehicle. Max Motors2 got the car MOT'd in good faith from there local Garage, we were informed by our warranty company to take up this advisory oversight with the MOT station and if we could not get recompensed then we were to inform the DVSA. Max Motors2 were very understanding when we emailed them the health check report and what urgent repairs were needed. They forwarded all our correspondence and reports to the MOT station and we are now waiting to hear from them. That aside, we have a car that we are confident with and have lost that 'what's wrong with it' purchase syndrome. We would certainly recommend Max Motors2 and would not hesitate to buy from them again. I just hope they have a word with their go to MOT station!

An excellent accurate description of the car and a good photograph led me to arrange a viewing. As it was awful weather they had the car inside so I could have a good look at it before I took it out. The test drive included local streets and a dual carriageway which gave me plenty of opportunity to try it out. The salesman was well informed and not pushy which I appreciated. Picked up the car a couple of days later and can only say it was a good experience from start to finish

Excellent car dealership. Bought a car here 4 week ago. Great costumers service. All cars are kept inside away from the weather. AA warranty as well so you can just take it to your local AA workshop and not have to travel back to Max Motors 2 witch is great peace of mind as I live 3 hours away from them. I bought a car from max motors 2 for my dad from Ireland. The car was in excellent condition and exactly as they described it. I would highly recommend buying your next car from these guys, you won`t be disappointed and truly feel you've bought a genuine car when you drive out of there showroom.

The car was just as advertised and it was a pleasure doing business with Jay. He made the car buying process as painless as possible for what is the most expensive car I`ve ever bought. After finding an issue with the car after purchase that couldn`t have been spotted prior to collection I contacted Jay and he apologised for the issue and explained it was something that had never happened in 10 years. He then made it right and that`s the most important thing. Anyone can sell a car if everything is ok with it, but the only way to really know if the seller is any good is how they deal with issues. I can comfortably say Jay did everything he could to resolve the problem to my satisfaction, especially considering I was over 120Miles away.
