For my first ever experience of buying a car from a dealership I honestly could not fault the experience. Deacon was an absolute legend through the whole process - his communication was exceptional, professional and so warm. Due to needing a car ASAP I viewed the car online and bought it over the phone without viewing it - quite a scary endeavour! Not only was the car delivered free of charge within a couple of days, but it was also absolutely spotless, in perfect condition and came complete with vouchers and offers which went above and beyond great customer service. The car I bought (Ford Fiesta) was of great value, exceptionally looked after and came with a reasonably priced warranty to put my mind at rest. I'm buying all my cars from here in the future!

What can I say about these guys ?! If I could give 10 stars I absolutely would ! I was made to feel welcome the minute I walked onto the car lot but not pressured or followed around at all. Wayne and Deacon took the time to listen to what i wanted in a car and showed me the options they had. They were so funny and friendly but knowledgeable at the same time. I ended up buying a car from them that afternoon as I felt completely at ease there especially being a woman on my own I was worried I might get fobbed off 😂 Couldn’t be further from the truth ! Pleasant and simple experience from start to finish. Had a long wait to pick up my car due to issues outside my control, however no issues and was able to get a better car, with no issues after such a long wait, even though I’d already paid a deposit on another car. Great experience for us from the start. Looked around the cars without any pressure or someone trying to 'sell us'. If you wanted to sit in the cars they just let you in and get back to what they were doing. Deacan was really friendly and approachable, good with the kids too. Want a test drive? Again you get the keys and go for a drive. Prices were extremely competitive so there is little room for negotiation however you get what it say's on the tin and it was cleaned, fully serviced and 12 months MOT. I got the extra 12 months warranty anyway but you can tell that this is a professional outfit who have confidence in the quality of the vehicles. Very satisfied.

Wayne was informative and the car is great value for money. Very happy customer. After a few weeks, the car did initially breakdown but Plympton car center took ownership of the problem, took the car back and did extensive repairs to get the car working like new. While any used car could breakdown, its what happens after things go wrong. Most garages would have tried to exclude the repair from the warranty or made up a hidden fee but not with Plympton car center. 100% honest, 100% committed and I would 100% buy my next car here! I've already recommended all my friends and family. 10/10 for aftersales service quality! Still a very happy customer!

I just bought a Peugeot 2008 from Deacan (BEACON) as hes known as. The service i received from start to finish was Excellent. The car was freshly MOTed and cleaned inside and out. The car comes with a 1 year full customer protect warranty which is brilliant. There was an Issue with my Finance company (FC) IT glitch however Deacan went old school and sorted it via paperwork and emailed the FC and job done. Deacan went above and beyond to get this car/Finance all ready for us on time. I'll be definitely coming back to Plympton Car Centre when I'm ready for another car. Thanks Natasha.

We arrived last Monday interested in a van and were assisted by Tim who was really friendly, attentive and informative about the vehicle. Anything we wanted to know, he found out for us. After much discussion we left awaiting delivery of the van once it had been checked. Due to a hiccup with the MOT, we ended up having to drive to collect it, however, Tim was highly apologetic and sorted it in a professional and polite manner. Once we arrived to pay the outstanding balance, we were very happy to find everything we had asked to be done had been. I really appreciated Adam's time and attentive manner after having many awful experiences with dealerships previously. I was offered an incentive to write a review but I really didn't need one. From first contact with Adam to purchasing my car, the whole process was straightforward with no pressure on me at all to buy. Edit: It's a shame that I've had to edit the review from 5 stars down to 3. Shortly after purchasing the car, we received a parking fine in the post for the car we had part exchanged with them. This was forgiven as we assumed there was some sort of delay in the transfer of ownership. Tim apologised and assured us that this would be fixed. Today we have received a second parking fine and to add insult to injury, the date of the offence is well after the reassurance I got from the garage that they would fix the issue. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend using this garage any more as it has caused me more hassle than the trip to Plymouth was worth. The only reason this review isn't now 1 star is because the staff are polite, and the car we had from them is good.

We wandered around and found 3 other cars we liked, they started them all up for us and left us to look inside, at no point was there any push for any sale, they just let us do our own thing and we decided to test drive 2 of them, by which time the car centre was pretty busy but they just juggled cars in their stride and let us take them out. After driving both they asked us if we would like to look at any thing else, we replied no thanks we would like to buy this one, they sorted it all and took us through the vehicle and any issues we had and told us it would be ready for collection 4 days later. *Update: PCC put things right and offered to contribute towards the cambelt change and polish the car while it was there.* Recently purchased a car on finance with these guys, apon asking if the cambelt on my new car had been recently changed I was told there was no record of this. They also told me it should be changed every 100k miles and the car is on 95k so cutting a little bit close and not really the peace of mind you'd want when collecting your new car is it? So I asked if anything could be done with them getting a new cambelt fitted in which I was simply told no as they don't make any money from it and that this is why they dislike working with 247CarFinance which is who I went through. To my surprise it looks like they use a wash brush to wash their cars which is known to leave very noticeable swirl marks. I've told 247CarFinance about the problem and they agree this is not on and will be in contact with them through their dealer team. I did also feel slight attitude when asking about any history of the car too, not a great experience at all.

Having initially visited a much larger national car dealer and received appalling customer service I found Plympton Car Centre (PCC) on a google search for the car make and model we were looking for. I highly recommend PCC, especially for first time car buyers. There is a huge selection of competitively priced cars and the sales team (and sales manager, Adam,) are friendly and polite and not at all pushy or aggressive. From my first email enquiry I was impressed by the quick response and when visiting the site Tyler was well informed about the vehicles we considered as well as pointing out important considerations for a young driver and was very professional. The test drive was facilitated immediately and subsequently we had the easiest vehicle purchase ever and the car was ready to collect in just 2 days! Once we got the vehicle home we realised there was a small issue with the car which could have been a potential issues for out 18 year old son. We called the sales manager out of hours and he called back that night and the following day the car was booked in for a repair issue has been fully resolved. We are going to be looking for two more cars in the near future and PCC will definitely be out first place to visit. Thank you so much for exemplary service Adam and Tyler, first class.

What can I say me and the other half was just browsing for a new car for herself and we popped into PCC and was greeted by one of the most knowledgable and friendly salesman I have ever come across, his name is Tyler and we explained to him we wanted a small reliable run around and he knew straight away what to show us he guided us over to the little VW Up Club and it was an extremely emasculate car with stupidly low miles it was a once in a lifetime lucky score. Tyler went and got the keys and me and the other half too it for a test drive and she fell in love with the car straight away. When we got back from our test drive my other half said to Tyler she wants the car so Tyler led us to the office where we was greeted by Adam the Sales Manager and him and Tyler went through all the details explained it fully and offered my other half an incredible deal which included a 3 year warranty. Once the paperwork was all signed we took the car the same day and she has never had a more reliable perfect car. I personally would rate PCC above and beyond a 5 star raiting but if you are ever needing a new car with excellent customer service and up to date knowledgeable salesman speak to either the slSalesman Tyler or the Sales Manger Adam to get a take your breath away deal.
