Was very hesitant to buy a used car from anywhere else than my normal used car garage (FoW), but Matt was great at communicating - even doing so out of hours and set my mind at ease. He had no qualms about using my finance provider either, which I know can cause issues for some dealers. To prove Matt's honesty, the car I purchased failed it's MOT before he released it it me - he proceeded to fix all the issues (including advisories) before handing the car over with a 6 month warranty and service. This sounds negative but I felt positive and confident knowing that the car was sound and any issues I could have faced had been fixed. Would definitely recommend Hallmark Cars.

Bought a civic from hallmark cars two weeks ago, the condition of my car is outstanding. When I first viewed the car Peter couldn't of been more helpful, friendly and honest. No pressure buying, I looked over the car in my own time. The car was ready within 7 days, when I went to pick my car up, Matt went through the documentation and explained the warranty which was a platinum warranty so that just shows the aftercare of there customer vehicles is extremely important. After searching weeks for a new car following a previous difficult purchase I finally found exactly what I was looking for at Hallmark Cars. After my finance acceptance the dealer Matt sent me a very detailed and thorough video of the car as I lived over 200 miles away in London. Every inch of the car was emaculately clean both inside and out, minor scratches were detailed and every feature that could be demonstrated was done so with the highest quality of professionalism,showcasing the great care and quality of the car. As expected this filled me with great confidence not only in the car it itself but the dealer too, I felt assured I was purchasing a car that had been looked after and with someone I could confidently trust. On arrival I was greeted by Matt and instantly felt at ease due to his exceptional customer service skills and professional manner. All paperwork was shown to me including a new MOT certificate and the RAC warranty & breakdown cover, again just reaffirming the confidence I already felt in the dealer and the car I was purchasing. Mathew the owner was helpful , polite and professional . Bought a Toyota Yaris with my daughter after viewing plenty of cars elsewhere . This car was well looked after and in very good condition as is all his stock. They sell all their cars with a 12 month MOT. Any advisories are dealt with . And a 6 month warranty . Long established business that i would highly recomend .

We bought a 2016 Nissan Qashqai in March 2022 and px our C4. We were offered a fair price for ours and paid a fair price for the Qashqai. Matt was a pleasure to deal with, he offered his laptop for us to sort insurance whilst he played with our puppy. I've intentionally held off doing a review right away as I also wanted to review the product purchased. So... as soon as we drove onto Blackpool Road, under inflation for the passenger rear tyre came on. Thought nothing of it, went to the filling station on the same road and filled with air. Two days later and the alert for under inflation is back on, filled again, a day later it has dropped again. Took to star tyres thinking it was a slow puncture - no puncture, they cleaned, put back on and 'over inflated'. A week later the alert is back on. This time I took to Mo's auto's, they couldn't find a puncture, they cleaned and sealed the tyre to prevent air escaping. This seems to have worked but has cost nearly £30 to do so. I am informed that the alloys need refurbishing to prevent it happening again - cost £320 for all 4 wheels. The vehicle has also been into Chorley Nissan as there was a fault with the info/entertainment system which kept rebooting - obviously this was an issue when trying to follow the sat nav. Again this is now resolved and seems to be working fine. Apparently, Qashqai alloys are known for corroding and causing gaps allowing air to escape and tyres becoming under inflated, also the info/entertainment system is a comman fault which the dealership blames Android / Apple for corrupting the system. We also had to buy a new aerial as this wasn't with the vehicle when we bought it. Would i buy from Hallmark Cars again - yes. Would i recommend a Nissan Qashqai - probably not.

Absolutely recommend Hallmark cars, we bought a land rover off them. Peter was brilliant no pushy sales men attitude. We love the car but unfortunately it developed an engine fault. Absolutely amazing service from beginning to end. Due to the current Covid Guidelines and lock down restrictions it was a very different experience of buying a car but nothing was too much trouble. I was very impressed in how helpful both Ash and John were when I could not decide which car to buy. Bought three cars from Hallmark Cars over seven years and highly recommend them. I would go back for my next one. In fact, nowhere else. The staff are kind and courteous. On each occasion I said what I was looking for in a vehicle and they helped me consider options. They don't just want the sale, they want a satisfied customer. They have one here. I disagree that they're fine unless there's a problem. On my second purchase I went back to get a wing mirror fixed - I was a bit nervous at asking - but no need. It was dealt with quickly and of course at no cost, with an apology it was even necessary! Consequently I went back for my third purchase and the same high standard remains. I was helped to consider my requirements, not pushed for a sale, and when I finally decided what I wanted, the paperwork was quickly completed and the car ready in 24 hours. Great service, even during the lockdown! Matt was super helpful, sent me a full video of the car highlighting any scratches etc. Once I put down a deposit, the car was sent for service and MOT. After a couple of days car was available to pick up in a top shape with the interior fully cleaned. A slight issue with the car was picked up the next day, however Matt sorted it out while the RAC warranty they offer fully covered it. Second To none service. We had a family car hit overnight while parked by a drink driver and needed a car asap due to being a health care key worker. Drove out to them took about an hour or so to view a car, little test drive etc and asked about certain specs on it and told yes that's right it has this, that and the other....decided to go ahead. Paid deposit and was told it would be MOT'd, oil change and would be made shiny and valeted ready for collection. Turned up on day to a mucky car, inside and out so was pretty dissapointed as the owner told me I could take it to the car wash if I wanted 🤷 I still bought car as was pretty miffed and wanted to get home again....via car wash and valeters, it's the little things that count so make sure you get everything in writing and be ready to pay to get it washed and valeted yourself!

Re: Renault Esate 2014: My wife and I have bought from Hallmark cars before so this is not our first purchase from them. When everything is going right it's easy to have good customer service. You can only really tell when things go wrong. After picking up a car it developed a fault that only a 30 mile test drive would have shown up. After ringing the garage I limped back to be met with mortified looks, profuse apologising and keys to a courtesy car much nicer than the one I had just bought! I was told to treat it as my own and that they would get my one sorted. It turned out to be an expensive problem which was fixed at no expense me. I have since been driving it for 4 months with no problems at all. Well done all at Hallmark cars. I can not recomend them highly enough.

After arriving on a busy Sunday afternoon, more than enough choice of clean cars cars choose from. We finally settled between 2 cars. No matter how many questions I asked Ash had the patience to answer them all. Eventually decided and took for a test drive which was no hassle at all, was told to take our time and get a feel for the car. (If dont like just try another one!) Very quick and easy to deal with, new car ready when agreed, no pushy sales tactics, new car is immaculate. Went to complete and pick up today with John, was talked through everything thoroughly, felt you could go back to ask questions or ask for help. John sorted the tax for me there and then. Brilliant, bought car in November and has run amazingly well. Been up and down the country and has been very smooth. Done about 4K miles already in it. Had a few concerns over certain things (due to my naivety if I’m honest) there was no quarrels just straight to the garage to have it looked at and all sorted. No charge! Had a mechanical fault crop up in the last few weeks and took it back on a Friday afternoon, Matt had it in a garage for 9am Monday morning and it’s as right as rain, again no charge having honoured the warranty. We dealt with Matthew when choosing our new 2nd hand car. we initially went to look at a passat saloon but it was the estate we were really looking for. we then found the exact same car in the estate on the other side of the lot and were impressed straight away. We were given the keys and left to view the car for as long as we needed without any interruption. we then went in to discuss details of the car service history etc and half came to a deal. We then went on a test drive again without any interference and decided this was the car we wanted. We then went back and negotiated a small discount. I had my own finance in place and other dealers id spoken to this was a problem and wanted a full balance payment to hold the vehicle while the finance went through but not Matt, he was happy to proceed, 2 days later we collected the car. what I must say about the dealer is how clean all his second hand cars are, you can see real pride in all his vehicles and hence why he has managed to succeed where many have failed in a very difficult market. hopefully the car serves us well for a long time and if I ever need anything in the future im sure to look here! Bought a new car from Hallmark cars for our son. It was his first proper car after spending two years driving a little chicken chasing runabout. A nice shiney 2010 Volvo C30 1.6 diesel was picked up on Wednesday Morning so we had a happy son. We had a problem by 6pm after the car lost all power!! Called Hallmark to ask for assistance as we hadn't even had chance to activate the rac warrenty. Nothing was too much trouble! Car was taken straight to garage, fault found and repair done straight away without question!! Considering that it isn't a cheap fix to fit a new turbo without question in a little over 24 hrs. I have to say this is what I consider to be first class customer service!! These guys obviously know how to look after customers and as such I'm willing to return to them in the future as I'm sure to get value and quality care. Thank you for you efforts.

Dream come true. I have been searching for months for a Mercedes that had reasonable mileage and in good condition. Well I found it here at this lovely place. I saw the advert for a Merc C220 CDI Avantgarde so I just had to have a look. I met Colin and asked about the car in question. He gave me the key and allowed me to see the car for my self alone and was able to give the car a good look over granted I didn't have a drive, but somehow it felt right. I put on a deposit including px of my old car towards the new car and finance for the rest was easy to arrange to suit my budget. The car drives lovely and all the staff were excellent made me feel they had a lot of time for me and made sure I understood the terms and conditions. Went to view a car I was keen on buying, due to reasons I will explain. I am giving 3 stars as I cant comment on the sales team or the after sales service which not purchasing. Went to look at a white DS4, black C4, red C4, and grey Ford focus. Now it could purely be back luck but each car had body repair, so either been in an accident or bad damage of some sort. The DS4 which was priced fairly for age and mileage definitely wasnt worth that much with scratches on the windscreen, body panels, loose grills, peeling chrome and badly refurbished alloy. As this was bad I started making my way through the rest of the cars on my list and found signs of body repairs. Now I understand they are used cars but finding damage on all the cars I looked at I had to walk away. Not saying don't buy from them, there are a lot of good reviews so must be doing something right. Just be wary of what you buy. As with any car of course, just give it a good look over. EDIT: Thank you for the reply, I dont think you are intentionally selling damaged cars. If a car has been repaired without the accident being reported the HPI check would be clear. If you want to know what I mean, on the DS4 look at the front left wing. It's a different colour to the other panels. Also the panel gap between the bonnet and wing is very tight and uneven. Definitely had a shunt and repair. The red C4, front right wing has been resprayed, goes slightly onto the drivers door. Slightly darker red to the rest of the car. Grey Ford focus, boot has been resprayed. Its pushed over to the right as well. I'm not trying to ruin your reputation, like I said, plenty of happy customers and it sounds like your after sales is great. (Upped to 4 stars).

I understand you are covering your backs against the many morons of the world. Its just a shame that other people have to miss out. I ended up buying a motorbike to commute on, from a dealer with no warranty a couple of months MOT & no brakedown cover. It sailed through its MOT today even though its 30years old. I have found there a many many garages and dealers that will sell vehicles as spairs or repairs. I must find out who to report them too if there is as you say legislation in place to go against this.
