I booked a service for my Jaguar I Pace online which was very quick and simple. Arrived and I used the automatic door for the drive in service as it was raining heavy. The signage for the drive in could have been better as I had to drive into a lane that had a red X above the door which seemed counter intuitive. That aside once inside I was soon greeted by a member of staff who sat me down in the waiting area and kept me informed throughout the service. I was offered a hot drink whilst I waited and was able to connect my laptop to the wifi very easily so I could work whilst my car was serviced. Despite the minor issue on signage for getting into the drive in area the service was excellent and I would happily recommend.

In love with my new range rover sport thanks to the absolutely fantastic service from David (again!). Cannot recommend this guy enough! Exactly what you want from a salesman when buying a premium car. I built the car I wanted and sent it over to him. He pulled some strings - beat all other quotes from other dealers in the country. Within 7 days I got the car I wanted.
All the finance was arranged via email so I didn't need to keep coming in. Pick up was seamless! David went through all the tips and tricks to getting my range rover customised. Even getting the app and data services connected before I entered the showroom!
Do not hesitate to contact David if you want to deal with someone who's not pushy, reliable and knows what he's talking about. Look forward to doing more business again in the future!

I chose to take a walk in the local area and was directed to nearby amenities. Upon completion of the work, I was contacted by Steven within the advised time frame and returned to the site where he fully briefed me on both the work carried out and the findings of the complementary health check. The vehicle was returned to me in excellent condition having been washed and vacuumed, the experience exceeded my expectations and would happily recommend to others, many thanks

I went in yesterday as my adblue needed refilling on my Jaguar XJ and I had 0 miles left so the car wouldn't restart had I switched it off. I left the car running in the car park and spoke to the lady on reception who was very polite and friendly and asked me to drive the car into the service area and she would notify them. My car was taken by a member of the service team and the adblue was refilled without any issues. The drivers seat, steering wheel and floor mat was all protected when I was given the car back and I asked how much I owe for the refill and I was told that it was complimentary and me and my daughter went on out way. Overall I was very impressed with the service I received and I will not hesitate to return to Jaguar Preston in the future.

Went into the showroom already serious about a purchase. The showroom and surrounding waiting areas are stunning and have a very laid back atmosphere. When I needed assistance I was greeted by Remy, who I agreed a deal with after he got me a fantastic price on a brand new XE. Remy kept me in the loop at all stages of delivery after agreeing to purchase the car. He also supported me in sorting out very minor issues after the purchase.

I have been looking for a Range Rover Velar for many months now. After a number of bad experiences with Farnell Bolton I decided to drop into Inchcape in Preston. I was introduced to Martin Collins who was very welcoming and attentive from the very beginning. I have had some negative experiences with car salesman in the past so I was a little wary. Martin is a very genuine chap who puts the customer first. He is the only car salesman that I have dealt with in 20 years that actually returns phone call and messages in a timely manner. We all know how buying a new car is a big deal and some salesman treat it like you are buying a bag of sweets. Martin in different he treats you like a human being and understands the emotions around buying such a big ticket item. After we agreed the deal he kept in close contact throughout and even after I had taken delivery returned my calls and messages. Normally you don’t see car salesman for dust after you have drive out of the showroom. Overall my experience has been very positive but that is down to Martin rather than the dealership.

Overall a positive experience. The car wasn't ready on arrival and although advised it would be 10-15mins, the car wasn't ready until 40mins after my collection time. It would have been helpful to have been kept updated on the delay/expected waiting time. This was then made worse by needing to return to the dealership 10mins later to get an issue resolved which although understandable, could have been easily avoided.

Like all companies, there are issues, but it’s how these issues are dealt with make the company and the staff they employ professional.

Feels like the Jaguar side is still building up but this is clearly a high quality dealership that looks after their customers. Visited a couple of times and staff have been very helpful. Another disappointing visit. Bought my brand new F-type Jaguar last year and the experience was end-to-end shocking but quickly recovered when I submitted a written complaint. However, when being contacted to be told that my car had to be serviced @ 12 months (even though it has < 3800 miles on the clock), the promise of a full valet helped so I reluctantly took it in. On collection, there was no valet, a very rushed vacuum job and, yet again, I feel very let down. The only (and big) plus was Dominic who looked after us when we dropped it off and picked it up. He was extremely conscientious about all aspects of the experience and couldn't do enough. He's the only reason this isn't a one star review.

Recently visited on the off chance of finding a used F-type in their listings, didn't have an appointment.
Happy to say I had an excellent stress free experience mainly down to the fantastic enthusiasm and efforts of Alan, one of the used car staff. He knew exactly what I was looking for and had a detailed knowledge of the model.

We called into Inchcape one day just to look. We were lucky that Skye became free and was able to talk to us about our choices. We booked a test drive to compare the models. Skye found a gorgeous car that had everything we wanted and had it brought up from Surrey. The pick up day went well because she had kept in touch and planned well. Skye had made a pact with our daughter that if we didn’t go for a model with heated rear seats then she’d make sure there was a hot water bottle in the back - which there was and it even filled!! I called in to Inchcape Jaguar recently looking to downsize from a 3.0 TDS to a smaller engine size.
Very quickly, I was introduced to Kelly Gaze and from that moment on the afternoon went well for me, but I had certain 'musts' on a new car and other 'strong wishes' which ensured that Kelly's afternoon wasn't going to be plain sailing.
Kelly made notes of everything and told me she may be a short while as she looked for a car that covered as many of these details as possible. This wasn't an easy task but Kelly kept me informed regularly as to her progress and eventually found three cars that, although none of them had everything, had most of my wish list.
I then decided which was the one that had the strongest items off my list and Kelly began the paper trail to create my purchase, arranged for me to collect the car by the weekend, a very thoughtful idea, and followed this up over the next few days with videos, registration details and other things promised. Kelly also very professionally responded to a couple of queries I had prior to collection day.
On pickup day the exchange was done promptly and I was seen by Ryan Allan to do the 'financial' part of the transaction. As with Kelly, Ryan was very pleasant and professional, making the process much easier.
Both Kelly and Ryan were a credit to Inchcape Jaguar and made my purchase an absolute pleasure.

I went to view a Jaguar XE advertised on AutoTrader but this was not found to be right for me. My partner then saw a ‘black edition’ close by which we took a look at. We were approached by a salesman (Scott Wilson) who and we considered this car. I then mentioned a more suitable car for me would be one held at Inchcape Guildford and Scott said you would be happy to bring this to Preston. This was arranged and I subsequently purchased this vehicle. Scott processed this perfectly, including the transferred of my private plate. I could not fault his manner and efficiency. Everybody should buy a car from Inchcape (and Scott) at least once in their life!

Having contacted our local dealership from which we had previously purchased 3 Jaguars and being told that they couldn’t source a car with the spec we wanted my wife called Inchcape. She was fortunate enough to be put through to Katie Needham with whom she immediately established a lovely rapport. Within a couple of hours Katie had found us a car which was in production. The couple of options it didn’t have Katie arranged to be fitted retrospectively. Two X types, one S Type, three XF saloons, two XF Sport Brakes and now a F Pace since 2004 and all from same main dealer albeit now on the third name for owner and a new location. Always enjoyed first class service with sales team and after sales second to none, hence I never hesitated in going back last year when I purchased my F Pace. My F Pace, now 18 months old, is the best Jaguar to date without doubt.
However, I had noticed what looked like tiny rust bubbles at the extreme end of one of the roof rails. I took it into the brand new showrooms and once examined there was no hesitation in stating that a new part would be ordered and I would get a phone call when it was in stock. So far so good. I was still a happy customer. The very next day I got a phone call to say part was in stock but as they couldn't say how long a job it would be I asked for a car rather than wait whilst job completed as is my usual way. A car was only available some weeks later so I duly booked my car in for Thursday the 4th October. On arrival that date my name was taken and eventually I was told that my car was not booked in on the computer. However a car had been booked for me and I could take that and someone would ring me and let me know when my car would be available for collection. Still 'so far so good'. The staff I dealt with on the day were excellent so I had no concerns that, as I knew the part was in stock, I would have my car in time for our weekend in Scotland.
I waited until 2pm Friday. No phone call. At 2.15pm I rang to be told that someone would ring me back. They didn't.
At 4.15pm I was starting to get anxious so rang again. This time I was told that the work on my car could not be undertaken because the part was not in stock. When I pointed out that I had been told the part was in stock some three weeks ago I was told that parts were sent back if in stock for over three weeks because it was assumed the customer didn't want them!!! At that point I ceased being a happy customer!! I pointed out that had I been given that information the day before I may not have been pleased but I would have postponed the work and booked another date so we could have our weekend away in a car that would accommodate our dogs and our luggage.
So, as the car I had been loaned was a saloon and as we have two large dogs (hence my change first to Sportbrakes then to F Pace) we could not take them to Scotland for the weekend. The young lady was very apologetic but clearly there was nothing she could do. However, she did say that she was not working Saturday but would ask her colleague to ring me with an update in the morning.
I was not really surprised when that colleague didn't ring, but I was disappointed. Hence this review.
What has happened to the excellent service and support I have enjoyed for the past fourteen years?
I will be very interested to see what Monday brings.
UPDATE. Monday came and I got a phone call to say can't complete work on my car - it needs a part!! It appears the main agent for Jaguar, having re-ordered the part they had sent back, had not realised that a couple of clips would also be required to compete this job. Completion promised for Tuesday.
Tuesday I received a phone call. Car now ready to collect and this is where things improved and as a result I have increased stars from one to three. When I arrived I was expected, the repair had been completed, the car had been washed and looked immaculate, and the actual handover of my car was handled in a very professional manner - which did a lot to restore my faith in Inchcape. So thank-you Emma, Emily and Paul (Blunt)
Visited again Nov 2018 just for a look around. What a difference. Teething problems have been well and truly addressed and the increase in 'front of office' staff ensured I was made to feel welcome as soon as I entered the building. I was taken through to a lounge where I was served coffee and cake by very attentive staff then left to browse. I will return.

My first contact over the telephone inquiring about service arrangements for my newly acquired Jaguar XF was handled extremely well. The gentleman was knowledgeable and seemed keen to have my business, which is always a good start! As a consequence of this call I dropped in to the dealership to follow up my discussion.
My first impression of the Dealership's physical presence was one of a modern and efficient operation; although it was a bit of a hike from the spacious car park to the front door! Upon entering the impressive showroom and reception area I was greeted by the receptionist in a most friendly manner and made to feel like a long standing and important Customer; the coffee and cake was most welcome after a bit of a drag all the way from Southport.
At this point I was introduced to Sharon Milnes, who I have to say is a fantastic ambassador for the Inchape Group. The service and support I received from Sharon was exemplary. Arrangements were made for my car to be serviced the following week and a courtesy car was made available.
I received a couple of welcome reminders as the service date approached. Upon checking the car in, I particularly welcomed the "drive in" service reception, the excellent service continued from check in through to the collection of my car fully serviced. Sharon was a delight to deal with and her bubbly enthusiasm was constant throughout my dealings with her. Furthermore, the courtesy car was first class in all respects.
In summary I am most impressed with the service I have received from Inchape in Preston and on that basis I would highly recommend them. Of course the real test will be if this can be maintained continuously at a high level; I have hopes that it will and as long as it does, you will have my custom.
Finally, it would be nice if Sharon and the other members of your team could receive some form of recognition for treating me so well.

I am delighted with my new I-pace and appreciated Mathew coming in on his day off. He was however in a hurry to leave. I did miss out on some vital information on the IPace that would have helped my journey home which should have been stress free but actually ended up taking me 6 hours. I have had a tutorial in my local jaguar garage and there is a lot that Matthew didn’t know about the car so I feel he needs more training on this car. He didn’t know that the plug socket had 2 parts (bottom part comes off) this we found and was vital for fast DC charging which he didn’t know! My car should have been put into eco mode for the motorway drive as the charge dropped fast and I had to stop multiple times. By car was only 80% charged.....jaguar in Glasgow always give the car at 100% and this would have made my journey a lot smoother travelling back home. I do love my car and am enjoying driving it, but was really not given enough information when I was given the car to drive away. I think your team need a lot more training if they are to hand over electric cars. Poor handover but excellent car.

From start to finish, Skye’s amazing infectious personality made you feel at ease. It can be quite daunting going into a Range Rover garage but she was amazing and straight away we felt comfortable. Car Warranty Work Jaguar F Pace 2.0 R Sport AWD.
09th/10th/11th December 2020.
On the 9th my Jaguar car went into Inchcape Jaguar Preston,
The car was booked in on the 9th for 2 days to do some warranty work.
I dropped off the car and was greeted by Emily Ridehalgh a very professional lady who made the whole experience easy and very smooth from start to finish, her attitude is very professional and she is great to deal with explaining any issues that you need answering.
I was contacted on the 10th explaining re the warranty work by Emily and she asked could I keep the Courtesy car as the parts required had been identified and would be in on the morning of the 11th and would be fitted.
I agreed and that was it so I would pick up the car on the 11th.
Early on the 11th I received a video from Inchcape of the works that were identified showing the parts to be fitted by Dennis the Technician.
Dennis is a fantastic Technician and has done work a lot over the years on my vehicles, he is professional and his attitude is second to none and always goes that extra mile.
Thank you kindly Dennis and keep up the great work I always like you to work on my vehicle.
Also I dealt with Penelope in the dealership she is also excellent and her good attitude towards customers was first class also and when I came to pick the car up along with Emily she was helpful and professional in her/there manner.

Emily, lynchpin of the service department, was absolutely brilliant. Taking a car for a service is an expensive , boring and time consuming task, particularly when taking your elderly father, recovering from a stroke, had forgotten to reserve to book a 'service while you wait' appointment.
Confronted with a 4 to 5 hour wait Emily understood the anxiety of my father and without any prompting stepped in to save the day, fast tracking his service and had the presence of mind to have the car washed and hoovered whilst a service bay became available. She was on hand to help him with a couple of coffees, explained the bill in full and just went beyond and above what is normally expected from a garage service department
very often reviews are far rom complimentary but Emily was absolutely fabulous and Jaguar would do well to take note as she really made a difference. If only there were more Emily's around .

I booked in for an mot and to check the stop/start system that hadn't been working. Although I was told the mot would be about an hour, after nearly 2 hours no-one updated me on what was happening. I had to ask and was told, it was in for a mini valet. The stop/start battery was fine and they had reset the system.
The car passed the mot but the mileage on the certificate was significantly overstated and I was told a new one would be emailed to me. That was Thursday morning and I am still waiting. I know it was Bank Holiday Monday today, but an email on Thursday or Friday shouldn't take over 2 days to get to me.
Overall I was a little disappointed as communication could have a little better

I took my my car for first year service, the staffs are very nice and friendly, I should give one more star on their service, but I drove my car home and re-started in the other day morning, some noisy sound had came from the engine, I opened the bonnet and found out one of the cap adapter of the plastic cover did not properly mount back and cause one end cover keep vibrating with the engine, I had to take the cover off and adjust the plastic cap to put back, it seems ok now, but I found the cap had been worn out a bit because of not being properly fixed. overall is ok, only the careless technician.

I came to Inchcape Preston just to have a look around, however Remy was so helpful and found me exactly wanted and I just couldn’t say no. I was coming to the end of a PCP contract with Mercedes and I was unsure of what my options were, Remy was extremely knowledgeable about this and helped me come to a decision which would take all of the stress of dealing with Mercedes away and I incorporated my part exchange into my deal. I came in and briefly described what car (Range Rover Evoque) I was looking for and my budget and Remy immediately had a car in mind we had a look around it it was lovely however I couldn’t help but think I wanted a couple more features. He went back and within minutes had a solution which turned out to be the car I purchased that day but was at another branch he then suggested I test drove the one at Preston to get a feel for this, as this was the same car just a few cosmetic changes and I was sold when I drove it. Remy was extremely professional at all times although I had him back and forward as I had many questions and requests he was always able to answer confidently and professionally. He even was able to sort the day of collection for my birthday which was within a week. He is a credit to inchcape Land Rover and jaguar, I can’t fault him he was friendly, professional and extremely helpful and I felt completely comfortable to ask him questions and not feel pressurised into anything from start to finish a pleasant stress free experience. The service I received on buying my first Jaguar was very pleasing with all the staff at the Preston Branch ensuring that I was fully happy with my choice of vehicle. Having now driven it for two weeks I can say that the car is living up to the expectations I was hoping for in a renowned car. If I had one small quibble it would be not on the part of the staff at Preston but on the Jaguar manufacture itself and that is I could not get an outlet installed in the boot of the car I purchased for use with a cooler box. I was told the unit had been discontinued and on making enquiries at an auto electrical firm I was told they could easily install one. Not yet completed this as unsure if it would invalidate my warranty. Apart from this small hiccup I am extremely pleased with both the car and the service I received.

Great for parts, was not happy with the only time tried to use service. Despite insisting when I booked that I wanted to observe my wheel alignment I was told it was not possible due to 'health and safety'. Booked a week in advance and was told this the afternoon before my 09:00 appointment. Picked up my first ever Jag yesterday, a brand new E-pace - what a car and what a day!! Louis Cookson made it really special - what a great guy! He knew how much it meant to me - basically I've wanted a Jag my entire life and the E-Pace is definitely THE jag to own today. So Louis went the whole hog, from the slow reveal with the cloth pulled back to reveal the car with my personalised number plates, to the keys with Jag key-rings in a presentation box! A brilliant day! Louis is so far from the caricature salesman, you can tell he really cares. And as for the car - wow! How can a car that size handle like a baby sportscar?!? A fantastic drive. I love it!!

I very much doubt that Lemony Snicket could have encountered a more unfortunate series of events. Had it not been for the patient, personable and
courteous attention of Katie Needham, I would have withdrawn from the sale contract on changeover day and would most probably have exercised the 1000 mile return guarantee.
My enjoyment of the vehicle will be tarnished by the experiences I encountered before, during and after the transaction and I truly feel sorry for Katie who has had to cover for the incompetence of her colleagues.

Great experience..I had lost my wheel locking nuts key, After calling numerous tyre garages and local car workshops, I had been quoted in excess of £40 one of the local garages quoted £85 all of them had said there would probably be damage to the wheels. At this point I contacted H.A.Fox, after a 2 minute phone call I was on my way to Preston. Locking nuts removed free of charge when I purchased 4 new wheel nuts.The staff and the apprentice could not do enough. 5star service.

The salesman Carl Corry was friendly, as I would expect him to be, but also more interested in understanding my requirements with regards to the vehicle rather than just wanting to make a sale. He made the experience of parting with over £20,000 as pleasant as possible and at no time exerted any pressure to hurry the sale.
