Called in because I thought I needed a new car battery, as it turned out I didn't. The very friendly helpful staff tested my battery and alternator, free of charge, and gave me some great advice to get up and running again. All batteries are priced fairly, and cheaper or as cheap as any internet search. A local business providing a great service at the right price. What's not to like ? Won't go elsewhere from now on.

Great service, arrived unannounced with my VW, battery was checked and I needed a new one. Gave me a quote, battery fitted and it only took 20 minutes from start to finish. It’s cheaper on fleabay but you have to wait for it to be delivered the next day, will it arrive on time and not damaged?, you never know with delivery companies or bad sellers, and you have to fit it yourself. Convenience wise much better to shop locally, well worth the extra, and keeps your local high street alive, many thanks.

I Bought a top of the range Varta Battery for my Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6 Diesel on 22nd of december.. I thought I had a faulty battery, and I e mailed Alan with my problem on Sunday Morning. I could not believe it when Alan phoned me and offered to swap the Battery later that Morning !! I met him at his shop and he thoroughly tested the Varta Battery I bought off him. It turns out the battery is fine and that my Starter motor is tired. Definitely a 5 Star service and he went well above and beyond what anyone could have reasonably expected. Its this sort of Old fashioned service thats all too rare these days. I 100% recommend Longton Battery Services. Thanks again Alan. simon

My battery died during Pandemic, struggled to find a battery specialist in Rossendale but found Longton through Google. Needed an EFB battery for my start stop Forester. Allan at Longton was very helpful ordered a Varta and then arranged to fit it a few days later. Price was very good for this type and make. All done without contact in 30min or so.
