I dealt with Corrado via phone as I bought long distance. Used Car covered by 2 yr warranty. We arranged for parking sensors to be retro fitted. Vehicle was driven to my house and arrived immaculately. Looks even better than the video that Corrado had prepared. Very happy with the price and the car itself, which drives superbly. I would recommend Lookers Preston, but also advise anyone looking for a car to not restrict their search for a specific secondhand car to just local dealers as the two year warranty guarantees that your car should be in good condition no matter which dealer it comes from.

Big thank you to Mark Kilner. Having dealt with Marshalls Mercedes and Bowker BMW in the last few years for my cars I can honestly say Mark was a breath of fresh air in comparison. No hard sell, no ego, he made the effort to get me a car to view that suited my diary, provided a quote really quick, negotiated a fair deal and communicated with me every step of the way (even when there wasn't much to update). I feel it very important to comment on the excellent service that my husband and I received from the new car sales executive Andreas Solomi at Lookers Volkswagen Preston. Unfortunately after agreeing the purchase of the car my husband received notification of a operation with the requirement for both of us to self isolate for 10 days. Within this timeline the car arrived at the dealership and Andreas went out of his way to ensure that the vehicle was left in an isolated area of the dealership for us to look over and followed social distancing including masks and gloves. Having agreed that it was the vehicle we wanted he made a short video of the interior of the vehicle fully explaining the operation of all the controls and the setting up of all the systems which he emailed to me. This is something that is not normally offered, however, we have found it very useful and would suggest that it is offered in all circumstances. Since taking ownership of the vehicle Andreas has continued to e helpful whenever we have needed any advise or assistance. We have used this dealership for a number of years and have never need disappointed by the level of service however on this occasion feel that the service we received from Andreas was over and beyond that of previous years which we are thankful for especially under the circumstances and feel that he should be commended

Due to major building works, the showroom is not open. That said, the parts department was superb. I only wanted a securing clip and the gentleman, searched high and low to find one and then didn't charge me. Good old fashioned service.

We’re do I start, I bought a Polo of Andreas back in June for my wife, smooth and seamless operation, delivered to the door as promised. Car had a couple of scuffs when delivered and the delivery company refused to take liability sending emails and documents to me ref the delivery. However, I did take photos of said vehicle whilst still on the low loader. Once I had had all the info I sent it to Andreas, within a week everything was sorted car repaired like new at no cost to me. I was then left in a pickle just this weekend by BMW not there fault, and they have been great. However as a result I Did have to cancel my order, then the hunt began for a replacement, which led me back to Lookers Preston, unfortunately Andreas wasn’t available Scott was. Phoned at 1500 on the Friday, was on the train to Preston The next day. 11:30 sat morning I picked up a brand new delivery mileage Golf, deal done paperwork done car ready. This my friends is a service rare by today’s Standards. Plus they did me a deal no one else could match knowing my desperation to get a car. Point in fact. From the Girls on the desk, to the sales and finance team and ending with the valet and delivery, I cannot fault the team at Lookers VW Preston, would highly recommend them to anyone. Once again thankyou

Andreas was an excellent salesman from the start. Got in touch and informed him of my requirements and he gave me quotes and the time to think about the offers as I mentioned I was getting quotes from many dealers. I wasn’t rushed at any point to make the decision unlike with other dealers and felt I got a good deal. There were issues with the car which meant it took time to actually get delivery from when it was originally planned but I felt able to get in touch and Andreas was great throughout despite it naturally being a stressful time for him also. I was offered a choice of alternative higher spec cars and chose the one I ultimately took delivery of. Once it got to the final contracts delivery etc it was all very fast and I was communicated with at all points. He made sure to only got in touch at times convenient for me, and on delivery day stayed behind to get the car sorted and the part ex done. Brilliant salesman, can’t fault him. The car is brilliant! He was also brilliant in speaking with my family when they enquired about other cars on the lot.

Too much time spent trying to sell additional services despite making it clear I wasn’t interested. Received the wrong documentation 4 times even though I informed you on the receipt of the first document that it was incorrect. I had given my DOB and copy of driving license so there was no excuse for the error. The salesman signed himself car(d) salesman. It was agreed that I collect the car at 2pm,when I arrived Andreas was with another couple. He could seem me waiting but made no attempt to hurry the couple up. He eventually saw me at 2:45pm and had another customer waiting to see him. On the handover there was no Satnav module in the car and it took 15 mins to eventually install it. When I received my V5 to transfer my personal plate I sent Andreas an email at approx 11am (Wed ). When I didn’t hear from him by Thursday I contacted you and was eventually told it was his day off and to call the following day. I contacted you again on Friday and was eventually informed you could not find him and would send him an email. Within an hour he sent me an email to say he was on holiday until the following Tuesday and would contact me the following Tuesday morning (why did you not know he was on holiday) The following Tuesday I waited all morning for a call but did not receive one. So I contacted you and received a call back from Andreas about an hour later. He arranged to change the number plate at 10am the following (Wednesday) morning. I arrived at 10am to be informed he was out and would be back soon. He eventually arrived back at 10:45am and changed the number plate. I have regularly changed my vehicle (about every 2 years) for the last 50 years and am afraid to say that this is one of the worst changes I have made. I felt like I was just a number on a conveyer belt Fortunately I am very pleased with the vehicle Rob Harrison

Summary: Good customer service, competitive prices for works carried out, seem to be mechanically competent, though you must be cautious about being mis-sold additional products. I checked my vehicle in for a replacement of the two front tyres here (Continental 185/60 R15 84H), which was billed at £135.26 + VAT for the two of them. They also performed a wash and vacuum and investigated several things in my vehicle of which I was unsure. I was left with something of a bitter taste in my mouth when the customer service rep who called me about one such thing - my wiper blades seeming to be exceptionally squeaky - reporting that the mechanics 'heard what I meant' and that they 'recommended replacing them', the replacement of which cost £29.96 + VAT, which I authorised. However, I was dissatisfied to note that on the technician's report I received afterwards, it was noted that the squeaking issue 'was not apparent', and the mechanic would only advise 'replacing wipers if the noise persists'. I thus rather feel I was mis-sold a new wiper blade.
