I have previously had experiences with both a main “new car” dealer and a franchised “used car” dealership, and Fred Coupe Nissan in Preston is by far the best I have dealt with. The latter pride themselves on its roots as a family run business; and the service provided definitely had a “warm, family feel” as opposed to the colder, detached vibes of a salesperson just wanting to make a transaction (which was more the case in my previous experiences). Special mention to my salesman Ian Arnold. From the moment of my initial telephone enquiry, I received an exemplary level of customer service which allowed me to make a thoroughly informed decision on my purchase. Ian - one of the most friendly, amiable blokes you’re likely to meet - happily answered every question I had without hesitation. He then followed up by sending me a personalised video of the vehicle I was interested in. It was more of the same at the showroom in person - warm, friendly and transparent. I had enquired at a more local dealer but the guy I spoke to there felt like he was just pushing for a sale. It didn’t feel like that at Fred Coupe, and it was worth a little bit more of a journey to travel to Preston for the customer service received. I would definitely deal with Fred Coupe and would thoroughly recommend them without hesitation. Thank you!

This place isn’t your regular car dealership. They care about their customers and are clearly interested in making them come back, and they do it well. I bought a used 2 year old Leaf from here, the salesman Ian Arnold has been spectacular, no pushing, calm and thorough with answers to all my questions. The real hit here however is the service department and Brian who manages it. I had a few issues with the car, all of which have been resolved in a very timely manner, issues I brought up that were technically out of warranty were also looked at. I’ll admit the issues were not ordinary, and another dealer which is closer to me refused to look at them, so I drove 36 miles back here. Unlike many Nissan dealers Fred Coupe people know about electric cars and I’m told they use them as company cars. If you want a Nissan and you’re not far from here - don’t hesitate to purchase a car from here. You will have peace of mind that you will be looked after and will get to speak to very professional individuals who care about what they do. Fully recommended!

Great customer service from a company that values future custom. I needed an immobilisation code for my pathfinder after the battery had gone flat. I contacted the other Preston dealership who asked me to take the logbook and my passport in. They were very unhelpful and later asked me to go in to sign a job sheet - they then said I’d have to take the car in - a bit difficult considering the code was to get the car started. They then offered to book a call out but not for at least 7 days. At this point I rang Debbie at Coupe’s and what a difference friendly, honest and efficient - in no time I had the code. I mentioned my experience to a v well established lock company who were going to use the code and they said that they had similar experiences and now only use Coupe’s. Thank you Debbie and well done.

I only went for spares as the store man here is the best for Nissan parts and really friendly. Genuine parts are not much more than general factors and I prefer the quality. I can see their stock of cars is A1 and Nissan always load the extras compared to many others. Some smart looking motors here.

May 2018. My son telephoned me and asked me to visit here to look at a particular car he had his eye on. I am always wary of car sales people and, in fact, I am quite sceptical of most sales staff. However, my fears were put to rest very quickly. My son ended up getting the car which meant we were here for a couple of hours in total. I was very impressed, and that is coming from a guy who does not impress easily. Just ask my son! Dave was the main sales person we dealt with and he was 10 out of 10. At no point did I detect he was simply only interested in selling us a car (although, to be fair, that is his job). He was genuine, non-pushy, and I felt at ease with his approach throughout. The other staff we dealt with were the same. Everything was handled by the staff perfectly, from sales to admin. Most of all, and this is a big plus for me, I am quite certain we the members of staff were all honest and above board. I know my son got a very good deal and was well taken care of. Well done Dave and well done to Fred Coupe Nissan. As far as I recall, this is my first time giving five stars to any company. It would be simply unfair to give less on the basis 'there is always room for improvement.' I woudn't change anything.

Simply the best car buying experience I've ever had. Bought a second hand Juke Nismo from Fred Coupe in April 2017. The staff were extremely friendly and the salesman I dealt with went above and beyond my expectations. Some minor paintwork blemishes were repaired, to the highest standard even though they weren't a deal breaker nor did I request the work. To make things even sweeter, they gave me a brilliant trade in price. Heck, the salesman even came in on his day off to meet me for the test drive!! Gave up his own time!! When I next look to change my car, this dealership will be the first place I look and I've recommended them to everybody I know. A brilliant experience.

Brought a friend with me, as had bad experiences in past with being bull dozed by pushy sales people elsewhere. The Sales Executive David soon put my mind at ease. Very informative and told me everything about the vechile was interested in from start. Took me for a test drive and was very relaxed like chatting with a friend. I bought a car here that I needed quite soon for work. I had been looking for a Ford Fiesta and found one online here. I called and asked if I could see the car that day. I was told to come down anytime to see it. When I got there I was met by Dave Bamber who was very friendly and welcoming from the beginning. I am quite suspicious of car salesmen as I guess they are often portrayed as rather dishonest. At no point did I feel that from Dave. He was happy to sit in the back of the car while I took it out for a test drive and let my dad sit in the front with me. Fred Coupe matched my finance deal from the bank and were happy to explain it to me to ensure I understood it.
