Always had excellent service from this dealership. Cannot fault it and cannot recommend highly enough. They always phone to offer the best deal and often you can get a new car for the same outgoings as the old one. Have bought six new cars from them and consistently treated like royalty. Have dealt with Ian Mossop and Mark Kay and both equally knowledgeable and professional. Nothing is too much trouble. This is on top of the the trouble-free motoring offered by Toyota.

All I required was some rubber mats for my vehicle but despite this minor requirement, I was bowled over by the service I received from Toyota Preston. Right from my call asking if they had them in stock, through to collecting them from the showroom, I was treated with courtesy and respect. 2nd Update: 4 months later, the car is fine, issue with heater fixed itself, no replacement number plates were sent. I dont think they had any intention of sending them to be honest. Anything to make a sale. Just be careful when buying.
Update: I finally have the rear view mirror now.
On the 12th of October, I drove to Preston to buy a "Used Approved Plus" GT86. The pre-sales was good, the sales person kept me informed about the car as some cosmetic damage needed to be repaired on one of the wheels. They did an amazing job.
Once I arrived, we looked at the car the first thing I noticed was condensation in the rear lights. I've heard of others with this issue so mentioned it to the sales person. He spoke to someone else and came back to say it's normal as it's been sitting still a while, and once the lights warm up, it will be gone.
The second thing we noticed was the rear view mirror was peeling around the edges, the sales person said they can send out a film(?) which will solve the problem. The number plates were also bent, stuck on badly with velcro and so the sales person said they will send out new ones.
So I bought the car, and waited for the parts. I had to chase multiple times, and now two months later, all I have received is a interior light assembly (wrong part)... I reported this at the beginning of the week, and was assured I would get the rear view mirror sent to me but now another week later, I've not received anything else.
Just after driving out of the dealership so that they could close, we noticed a wing had been resprayed and the front bumper was slightly misaligned. Unfortunately we didn't notice this until after I had paid so that's on us.
The rear lights still had condensation in them, I had to make two visits to a Toyota to get these replaced under warranty, there was a chance they wouldn't have done it as the fault was before I bought the car, but they managed to put it through the warranty in the end.
Another fault that wasn't as obvious when I bought it as it was warmer was the car doesn't heat up correctly, the temp gauge bounces between the lines, and in traffic even at 0c weather, the fans come on. The interior is stone cold, and I have no choice but to use the air con to demist the front window, making the car extremely unpleasant to drive at the moment. Very thankful for the heated seats!
My local Toyota confirmed the issue, but couldn't find the fault, I had to book it in again, but this time for "at least 2 days" so they could take apart the dash. Again as this fault was present before I bought the car, there is a chance that the repairs aren't covered under warranty.
I'm still without the number plates and the rear view mirror. I've not heard anything back from them.

As ever,the service from Toyota Vantage,was excellent. My car had developed a mystery whistle and I was concerned there may be a brake problem. I took it in at 9am today,and by 11am I had been rung with an update on the problem,by 12noon I was driving it home,sorted and clean. It had also been completely safety checked by camera and things I needed to deal with at my next service were listed so nothing would come as a shock. Everyone is always friendly yet professional, and have always made every effort to make sure I don't need to worry. I purchased our Auris in 2019 and the service was excellent, i purchased some additional cover for bumps and scrapes which was good value for the product however due to reduced staffing levels with people on furlough my emails where not getting picked up and this led to compounding my frustrations when during a recent cold spell the battery failed. After raising a complaint i was contacted that day and the whole situation was dealt with in a professional manner and resolved in a timely manner. Having completed the purchase of a new Yaris Design, I feel that ALL the staff deserve a big thank you for their courteousness and adherence to strict safety standards. However, one person in particular deserves 5-star credit for his handling of the deal. I already knew Ian Mossop, having dealt with him on previous occasions, but both my wife and I were extremely impressed by his handling of the the whole process. Despite not being able to sit down and have face-to-face conversations, Ian went out of his way to make the process as pleasant and efficient as possible. Delighted with the customer service provided by Vantage. We live in the North of Scotland and could not find a Scottish garage who would deliver to Inverness. The staff at Vantage were so friendly and helpful, providing all the photos, videos and information we needed about the car, and answering all our questions via online chat or phone.
Once we committed to the sale, communications were excellent and it gave us a lot of confidence that we were making the right decision.
Delivery from Preston to Inverness was no problem and not expensive either, considering the large distance involved. The delivery driver was lovely and met us promptly as arranged.
We were very happy with the car we purchased and the provision of 12 month warranty and breakdown cover is very welcome. Overall, we were delighted with Vantage and would certainly go back there next time.

Excellent customer service. My car had it's MOT (£45 - fairly sure that is the going rate at most garages) done whilst I waited. The waiting area is pleasant enough, there was a lady constantly checking everyone was okay and making tea and coffee for everybody waiting. The staff that dealt with me were extremely professional and friendly, over the phone and in person. I also witnessed (eavesdropped) several conversations from other staff to customers giving great and clear advice. I will definitely be using this garage again in the future.

Car sales men are not our favourite people due to pressure and pushy sales techniques, however we have had the pleasure to deal with Ian Mossop on several occasions and each time he has been pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and not pressurising in any way. He continues to be supportive with any queries/questions we have after the purchase of our new car.

I had been looking for a replacement car for some time, well my other half was. Eventually, a perfect replacement caught his eye on the forecourt, a Hyundai I10 SE and only 2yrs old. He sorted a test drive out with George a very helpful salesman and subsequently did the deal. I picked up the car a week later, was so excited to be getting a new shiny car, well 2 yrs old. It was gleaming and half tank of fuel. George greeted me along with Doug and then continued to do the necessary paperwork, well, paying for it. I was given a very cute teddy along with the keys in an amazing little bamboo folder - I think I was more excited with that than the car itself.
I had noticed when I got home that there wasn't a service/warranty/handbook and contacted George, he kindly sorted this out and took accross to where my other half works and left it with him.

Ok so it's been a few weeks since I bought my second hand vauxhall astra from Ian mossop at vantage Preston.
I first saw the car on auto trader on Sunday morning, I used the online chat feature (before they opened at 10:30am) and was promptly contacted by the sales manager who booked me a slot to view the car at 11am with ian.
We arrived to a warm welcome and was quickly shown the vehicle that had been sanitised before our arrival. The process of organising a test drive via there insurance using my driving licence was quick and easy. At no time were we put under pressure by the sails team which was fantastic and they answered every question with ease. We decided to buy the car and would collect a few days after.
The car was serviced and MOT'd for us, however when we arrived at 11am to collect the car we discovered that they were replacing the pads and breaks for us as they were slightly worn and they were waiting on parts to be delivered (due to covid the deliverie company were short staffed) we waited for an hour but alas the parts still hadn't been delivered and we had a prior engagement that we need to get to, Ian was so appologetic and embarrassed about the situation but quickly organised a loan vehicle for us to use and promised to deliver our car to us that evening (we live over 40 miles away from the dealership).
We were happy to accept this as getting the breaks replaced was worth it.
Ian called me that afternoon and delivered my car promptly at 6pm with a full tank of fuel as well.
Since then I've had a couple of follow up calls from Ian making sure I'm happy with the car which I am.
So to sum up it was a fantastic, safe and very easy purchase where I felt nothing was to much trouble and no question went unanswered.

Tara Woods, one of the sales team provided an excellent service from start to finish. Tara allowed me the time to look at other branded vehicles with no pressure to buy from Toyota. She also made the whole process fun. When I went to collect the C-HR it was covered in a black silky cover so that I could unveil it along with a thank you placard alongside with my name on. I was then presented with the Toyota ISSHO soft toy and my keys came in a lovely presentation box, also included was a well made Toyota bag for collecting the bits and bobs from my old car. I purchased two vehicles in November. I have to say the salesman who assisted me, Usman, is extremely polite and professional assisting me with all matters and after sales care.
The service centre is excellent. I had a puncture and the roadside assistance was with me within 15 minutes of calling and they placed the temporary onto the vehicle for me.
I took the vehicle to Preston to purchase a replacement tyre, the service team was able to 'plug' the tyre. At the same time they conducted a 42 point check of the vehicle.
What was incredible about the whole experience I was sent a video of my vehicle with the vehicle technician explaining what he had done.
They also gave the vehicle a quick clean. All the staff at the service centre were very friendly and co-operative.
The cost of this service £0.00 - I was amazed by the whole experience.
The only problem I've had is one of the vehicles was missing its' service history and manual, the sales team have arranged for one to be sent to them and they had confirmation of the service history and will republish. Therefore even this problem is undergoing being addressed.
With my experiences to date I will certainly never go elsewhere, the reliability of the Toyota brand, economy of the hybrid vehicles and the service of the WHOLE team speak for themselves.

A really helpful parts department here at Vantage Preston. I needed to carryout an intermediate service on my car and wanted genuine filters. When I called to check they had stock, I was told about there current offers which were various service item packages and they actually tailored one for my needs.
When I arrived shortly after, the service kit was in a box waiting for me.

A year on and I've returned to have my car serviced. Even with the current Covid measures (which are impeccably mapped out in the showroom) the showroom was gleaming with a busy selection of staff going about their morning duties. To this extent I was delighted that Tara, who helped me with my first Motability Yaris, and Ian who helped me with my second Motability Yaris, both welcomed me by name in a very pleasant, happy and professional manner.
Tara assisted with the administration side of the service and was kind to arrange a coffee for me while I waited for the service to complete. Before Tara returned with the keys I had received a full documentation of the service and an impressive video and service update by email which highlighted using the traffic light system (green being OK, yellow being advisory and red being action required now). The service engineer politely informed me to take care of the tyre pressure, which can be difficult with my disability but was good advice.
I remain a very satisfied Toyota customer, pleased that my Yaris passed all checks. I continue to recommend all areas of staff for your Sales, Servicing and Parts needs.

Brilliant service from start to finish from vantage Toyota they fit me in the following morning for a diagnosis unlike Hyundai on aqueduct st/fylde road who said i had to wait for 2 weeks for a diagnosis. I bought the car from hyundai and expected a better response from them. Did not want to keep driving the car until i knew what the problem was. After only doing 43000 miles i was surprised to find the timing chain needed replacing but relieved vantage fit me in for a diagnosis so quickly then i wouldn't do any further damage to the engine. The car was booked in for a factory recall to check the rear window seals. Dropped off at 9:00 and was told it would be ready by 4:00 and was promised a complimentary wash and vacuum for the inconvenience. Went back at 4:30, but had to hang around for an extra 45 minutes before it was ready. The recall required no work, there was no wash or vacuum however the sales lady was happy to book me in for a brake and tyre replacement which the mechanics noted was needed.
Pretty much felt they'd missed the timing, rushed the job but still managed to squeeze in an opportunistic sales call by Vantage Toyota.
Had the brakes and wheels done at the local mechanics whilst I waited - in fairness they also didn't wash the car, but then again they didn't promise to.

I bought a car I'd seen on the internet from Vantage Toyota Tamworth. The salesman, Thomas Whiles, wasn't your quintessential salesman, quite the opposite. He let me look, touch and get a feel for what I was buying rather than hard sell.
Ok, so on the test drive I heard a rumbling that I thought was unusual. Tom said he thought it sounded like tyre noise. It came and went, so, I accepted that. However, on the drive home 1 week later, the noise was more than a rumble, it was definitely a wheel bearing issue. As I live 2 hrs away from Tamworth, Tom arranged for the Vantage Preston dealership to take a look at the car, an hour away from me so easier and quicker.
From first attending Vantage Toyota Preston, I dealt with Dan Valentine in Service, who was was efficient and friendly, despite me getting there at 8am. He knew I was coming, he'd read the notes on their system and he was ready. He and the technicians had the car diagnosed in less than 30 minutes and arranged for me to go back a week later when it suited me better to have the bearing replaced. I was told it was the rear nearside bearing. I could have sworn it was the front offside, but they're the experts, not me. I felt comfortable.
I duly dropped the car off 1 week later on a Friday morning at 8am as agreed and was told I could wait while the bearing was replaced. 4hrs later, still no bearing done. Dan came out to update me. He told me they needed an adaptor tool to remove the bearing, but they didn't have it, and they couldn't source one locally, therefore couldn't get the bearing off.
He knew I'd driven an hour to get to them, so without asking, he had a courtesy car ready for me, full of fuel and said he will be back in touch on Monday. Minimal fuss, very efficient.
Ok, so cutting a long story short, they had some issues getting the part to remove the bearing, but they did get it and changed the bearing. It took 4 days, a bit of a pain, but you know sometimes, it just goes like that and I was fine in the courtesy car. After the replacement, they took it for a test drive, and they heard the 2nd bearing (the one I told them of) was also noisy, so they changed that too. The car is a 2.5 tonne Land Cruiser, they're heavy cars, bearings wear out.
The point of this review is, they just did it, as a matter of routine, without messing about and just cracked on with it. I picked the car up and was informed of the 2 bearings having been replaced, not just the one I was aware of. Dan's communication with the technician, Gareth Renshaw, led to him being able to test drive and make sure the car was right coming back to me without further visits. They got it right, first time. I like that.
