This is how Mercedes-Benz should be, unlike the liars and thieves at Ascot Mercedes, Ian and his team were honest, friendly and transparent. They replaced my sons A180D engine which had less than 50k on the clock and 4 years old , something Mercedes-Benz and Ascot Mercedes (where car was bought) washed their hands of and tried to rip us off. I had a problem with my car and was looking to avoid a Mercedes main dealer due to the cost and the age of my car. My local garage couldn't resolve the issue, which was linked to a leaking air bag and the rear suspension, so they suggested Calcot Cars. The whole experience was simply outstanding. Ian is a lovely bloke and knows exactly what he is talking about. He talked me through the issue, what he thought the best and most cost effective solution would be and explained things in layman's terms. Having left my car in the local garage for 5 days, it was sorted 24 hours after taking it in to Calcot. They even lent me a courtesy car when I realised I hadn't bought my clip in shoes to bike home! I know what I would have been charged at a main dealer and I therefore know I saved a lot of money. However, I'm not writing today because of the cost - I am writing because the service was so good and the quality of the work was excellent. Would I recommend Ian and the Calcot Team - absolutely. And I will be a return customer.

Very Satisfied, Firstly took my car in due to an error message, turns out needed a new sensor under front passenger seat. Job was completed very quickly and helpful information provided. I don’t really leave reviews but Calcot Cars deserve one. Beyond exceptional! The large B service/ Gearbox service was brilliant! Jemma is fantastic, better customer service than I’ve received at any main dealer. Overviewed my service after completion and advised on a few points for the future - they do a ‘proper’ health check here. Later, I had an issue with my intake, called them at 6pm optimistically knowing they were closed but got a call back within minutes and was on the phone with Ian until 8pm - brilliant service! Was then told to come back first thing in the morning, sorted same day! Jemma, again, fantastic, made time for me at such short notice. Charlie and James - top guys who worked on my car. Knowledgeable, honest and efficient. They don’t just service here, there is plenty more work, advise and service they carry out that you won’t even get going direct to Mercedes. Can’t recommend enough. I’m a new long-term customer for sure.

WHAT AN ANGEL IAN IS. I was left without a thermostat my garage said there wasn’t one in the United Kingdom and it could be any time for it to come from Germany possibly months😳 I then found that renting a car was now costing a fortune and I might need it for some time‼️I accidentally rang Calcot Cars and speaking with Ian who was so sympathetic with my plight he said he will try to get me thermostat he called back within 10 minutes having found one he was very busy so was unable to do it for awhile but was very happy for me to have it to give to my garage so they could fit it for me. I purchased a Mini Cooper in Dec 16 and yes it has taken me a little while to write this review! however my experience with Calcot car was first class, honest, knowledgeable and fair. We were very please with the service we received. What has prompted me to write this review was after a strange package arrived today, the package contained a spare key for the mini that the previous owner had handed into Calcot cars who in turn took the time and cost to forward the key onto me. I am so please to have a spare key and the fact there are decent people out there who even after 8 months of the sale of the mini have provided me with excellent customer service. Loan cars are readily available while your own car is being repaired or serviced. Recently taken my Mercedes C Class Estate to main dealer due to broken manual hand brake under the steering wheel. Main dealer advised me to replace the whole mechanism including the rear brake discs and pads. After being quoted just under £1,000 to repair car (they did come down to £723.00 after my husband said that the price was too high) I took the car to Calcot Cars. They advised me that only the handle needed to be replaced for an amount of £28.20, including labour. The rear discs and pads were about 70% worn and needed to be replaced. I was quoted around £300 for this work to be done. Amazing service and we will be definitely using them again.

The car was exactly as described and was prepared to a really high standard. All the paperwork and keys were with the vehicle and Ian ensured the road tax was completed on my behalf. From speaking to Ian it was apparent that their customers do go back repeatedly. My car was known to them for the past 7 years and they had sourced the previous keeper a new car. My car had new brakes and a rear pipe replaced before they put it for sale. They seem genuinely interested in providing the vehicle in its best condition. Had an auxiliary battery message come up on my Mercedes CLS350 (purchased elsewhere), looked around the local area and Calcot Cars was getting good reviews. Gave them a call and spoke to Ian, he was friendly and accommodating. Tried to fit me in as soon as, but as I could wait I opted for an appointment at a later date. Courtesy car was available (Mercedes). Car went in for diagnostics and I was advised the problem did not present itself while with the garage though the errors were logged. I was given several options and asked how I wanted to proceed, no hard sell, no pressure to have work carried out. I was able to make use of the warranty purchased with the vehicle and Calcot cars dealt directly with the warranty provider, car was in and out over the course of 3-4 hours. I recently had Calcot Cars change the battery on my Mercedes. I took the car in the afternoon before it was booked in, for my convenience. When I got there they were happy to do the work there and then saving me having to come back the next day. Although the mechanic spent at least half an hour on my car, I was only charged for 15 minutes. Additionally the cost of the genuine MB battery was only marginally more than the cheapest non MB battery I could source on the internet. I also got some sound advice on keeping my car in tip top condition. USE THESE GUYS! You won't be disappointed.

Calcot Cars independent Mercedes specialists expertise, Has saved me from a cripplingly expensive, not to mention potentially lethal, high speed gearbox failure! How fortunate am I to have happened across these Angels from Heaven! I arrived in my ageing and sickly ML270, concerned about a sudden oil leak, but fearing more what it was going to cost to fix it. The car development a small fault after having it for about a week when I rang the garage and told them, they couldn’t have done more to help. Ian and his team are clearly Mercedes Wizards. I say this because the transformation of my Mercedes is nothing short of magical. Prior to Calcot having the car the CLS had the driving qualities of a shed, and at that, not a particularly nice shed. After a few days with Calcot Cars if feels like the 50 grand car it once was.
