Myself and my wife were in search of a car which was within our budget and a car we felt would be suitable for us both.
We were looked after by salesman Nigel who gave us information on the car we were interested in and went through its features which we needed to know. We asked for a test drive which Nigel was happy for us to do.
The test drive went very well which is when we decided to buy the car that morning
The service from Nigel was great when we had any questions on finance options.
The next weekend we collected the car and filled out forms and any paperwork that we needed which Nigel went through with us thoroughly making sure we were happy with everything.
Overall a good experience as hes very helpful and approachable for anything that we required from him.

By far the best service I have ever received. I paid £170 for a brilliant service and MOT, they were very thorough and quite possibly saved my life. The day prior I had new tyres and track rod end installed by F1 Auto Centres. Alfa Romeo discovered they had put the wrong nut on far too small, thank god they did because the track rod was effectively not attached and would have most definitely resulted an accident. In addition to the service and MOT they gave me a complimentary Valet, and a very good one also, the car looked showroom ready.
They were even kind enough to pick me up from the Train Station.
£170 is not bad for saving your life, a very inclusive service with a main dealer stamp, MOT and a professional Valet.

Had amazing experience at WLMG Reading after being let down by Palmers Fiat&Abarth. The customer service provided by Daniel was so brilliant that it seemed unreal at times, since i was not used to this kind of treatment by the sales person.
From the first moment I stepped into the salon until receiving my car, Daniel was on the case updating throughout the process and helped me get the car i initially wanted.
The car collection was as well beautifully organised with personal welcome as a very nice touch.
I couldn't recommend Daniel enough.

I previously left a negative 1-Star review of WLMG Reading regarding the quality of service, and in total fairness want to provide a positive update
.
It is true that I have had growing irritation with WLMG Reading concerning responsiveness of communication, keeping me informed, and accuracy of advice for some time, and this resulted in me recently walking away to a competitive service provider, and leaving a negative public review on Trustpilot.
In fairness to WLMG this was picked up and I was contacted within 2-hours, with the intent of trying to retain my custom. There was a bit to work through, but I have been able to escalate my grievances to Director level, and today my WLMG issues have been settled to my full satisfaction.
Did WLMG ‘drop the ball’….. yes. Ultimately has WLMG stepped up to the plate and put things right when given the chance… yes!
I can ask no more, and trust we will now be able to move a trusted Customer / Service Provide relationship forward beyond its previous 13-years’
I’m happy to say ‘thank you’ to the WLMG Senior Director and new Reading Site Manager involved for demonstrating the integrity to put things right when needed.

Kevin and Michelle and the mechanics were fab on the service team, had my car for a while trying everything they could possibly do to fix a really obscure problem with it and keeping us updated at every stage, unfortunately (not through lack of trying) it wasnt to be and we decided to look at our options to get another car. What a thoroughly pleasant experience I have had purchasing my new FIAT 500 hybrid lounge, my first ever brand new car, at your Reading Dealership!
Especial credit and thanks to Sales Executive Liam and his colleague Daniel in the Reading branch, who were amazingly polite and patient with the many questions I had, regarding the car I was looking to purchase. As my last car was sixteen years old, there was much to inform me about, regarding a new car’s features!!! When Liam was busy behind the scenes, Daniel readily took the time to answer further questions and suggested that I try sitting in one of the cars and familiarise myself with the controls. Having explained to Liam earlier that I battle with claustrophobia, he was thoughtful enough to demonstrate that the car I was considering was easily opened from the inside, even when locked.
My particular dilemma was that the new cars do not come in the bright colours that the older cars do. After much brainstorming, these amazing gentlemen were able to identify a new car in a bright colour with a light interior – exactly what I wanted. It would simply need to be collected from another location….
Before my test drive, I was given advise on how to return to the showroom, since it can be tricky to reach, if you pass it.
I was made to feel at ease and no pressure was placed on me whatsoever to purchase the car that I had enquired about. Likewise, the products and services available, related to the purchase were explained thoroughly, but it was accepted when I declined the offers. As someone who can easily feel pressured to do things I do not wish to do, this is a HUGE compliment. I did sign up to their three-year service plan, due to feeling so comfortable and therefore confident that I will receive good service, when required.
I was over the moon to receive a video via email of my car once it had arrived at the Reading Branch.
On collecting my car, it was rather nice that Daniel remembered my name from my first visit, as did Liam. Liam explained everything thoroughly and patiently and went over all the features of my car again with me, including stuff that might seem obvious to many people (but not to me), such as how to open the boot, bonnet, petrol tank etc. Not a sign that he found me to be ignorant of all things car related!
The customer service that I experienced was high. My husband, who accompanied me both times to the centre, has purchased several cars over the years and describes this as the best ‘handover’ he has ever experienced. When it was time for me to leave, Liam and Daniel were there with my husband to wave me off and wish me much enjoyment driving my lovely new car.
Liam and Daniel are a credit to WLMG and I hope that this is acknowledged by the company. I shall be telling anyone who cares to listen about this lovely experience and would not hesitate recommending family & friends to consider using your Dealership for their next vehicle purchase.

I recently had a recall notification come through for my Jeep GC 2011, so I called up my local Jeep dealer and was politely informed that my vehicle had missed about 4 recalls with the previous owner. Kevin and his team informed me that they would do those for me at the same time, brilliant. It seems the vehicle had never had a proper check done and had any faults simply cleared. They called me straight away when the underlying issues presented themselves and it turned out that the DP filter was way overdue a replacement. All the old issues and problems that had been just cleared came back and threw the car into limp mode. The team at WLMG were brilliant and worked around the clock to fix the issue and clear the limp mode, which anybody who owns a Jeep will tell you is no small feat.
My Jeep was given back to me in better than before condition and is now an absolute joy to drive, the price of the work was much less than I would have imagined and I now have peace of mind in knowing that real brand backed professionals have given it the all clear.
I would highly recommend these guys if you love your car and want to keep it running smoothly. Will definitely be taking my Jeep back to them for its service, peace of mind is priceless.

Proud owner of the Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro as of yesterday (15 June 2021). I had my previous Abarth serviced here after Aldershot closed down and the closest Fiat garage to me delivered poor service.
Customer facing and telephone service at Fiat Reading is to a high standard. I purchased my new car yesterday based on the service I had received previously. I'm not sure how Liam did it but he managed to turn my car around in a very short time. Good communication (which is key for me) meant I felt fully informed through the whole process. Thank you Liam!

I have had an excellent service from the folk at WLMG service desk for fault finding work carried out on my Jeep GC. Bought an Alfa Romeo Stelvio from WLMG in March and received excellent service from Daniel. Honest, friendly and reliable sales with no pressure. Great experience and what a car this is! Had a minor fault today, rang WLMG and Kevin booked me in immediately. Car fixed in 10 minutes and returned sanitised and washed. Pleased to see Daniel again when I arrived! Both Kevin and Daniel are an asset to WLMG and highly recommend them. In my experience Audi and BMW could learn a thing or two from these guys!

I have had 5 Alfa’s, and experienced a number of different service providers, however none have been as professional as the service provided by WLMF today. Sophie on the service desk provided excellent service today, giving me a full update on the car following it’s service. I particularly liked how your service book is handed back to you fully stamped with your key, many times from other providers it’s left Unstamped in the car and you have to return in to get actioned.
I decided to book in for a service after experiencing great service from Liam on the sales team, I was exploring the options as my current finance deal was coming to an end and we went through what my options were, without any pressure to make a decision.
The location is also well placed, as it is only a short walk into reading town centre, after dropping the car off in the morning I had a 20min walk to the train station and was off to carry out my working day as normal.

I recently took my suzuki vitara in for a service. WLMG in Reading are not my usual garage as my main dealer in Basingstoke has now closed, because of this I was a little apprehensive. However, the WLMG service team put my mind at rest by explaining the process and detailing the set price. The whole experience was top notch. They even made a video as part of the service and cleaned the car inside and out. Fabulous. I will definitely go there again and would highly recommend them.

Kevin from WLMG reached out to me to make things right and I was pleasantly surprised by how helpful and accommodating he was. He made this recent experience a complete turnaround from the previous and although this new rating is based on one person's actions... I can only hope that the next time (yes, I am willing to return) the standard of service remains the same and that all members of staff follow suit.

Writing this review after 1 year of dealing with them as had the cherry on top today when I checked my service book to see that after having my service with them last year they havent stamped or signed my
service book - another headache for me now!
Last year I dealt with issues that were to do with pricing - they would quote me one price and when it came to paying, it would be another.. this happened with the service charge (FYI I was correct) and then again when I needed a replacement battery - luckily I kept the voice mail which had the guy quoting the price over the phone!!
They rang me for a follow up and was told they wanted to make up for the mistakes and said I would get a call back with either a future discount on sevices or a free MOT - needless to say i didnt get a call back... I left it at that as knew I wouldn't return... and now when my service is coming up this year I find out another error on their part! - to be honest i should of checked the book myself... learnt my lesson!

I went into WLMG to discuss potential vehicles as my children are now taller than me, Liam was polite, engaged and listened to my requirements, budget and preferences and I was able to secure a vehicle in budget, very important, but also that still has a little character, his manager Nick was also exceptionally helpful
I wasn’t pressured to take on any extras but informed about what was available and able to decide in my own time, the delivery date was as planned and I was shown all the new features since having my last 500X

Brilliant customer service - although I bought my new Fiat 500x elsewhere I needed a software update, I went to WLMG Garage and felt very welcome by a lovely gentleman called Kevin Lockwood-Goose after sale Manager, very knowledgeable and efficient.
Kevin took me under his wing and told me the car has to stay overnight and gave me a courtesy car.
Next morning my car was ready and shining, had been cleaned in and out

Planning to get an Alfa Giulia once my current finance deal runs out, and took my daughters to show them what's it like. A member of staff came to see us after a while, he was friendly and kind, but missed the opportunity to build the relationship to make me want to come back again when the time is right. Based on my previous visits I feel an upward trend but Alfa needs better dealership experience to match their cars and to start selling in numbers they hoped. Bottom line is, a dealership needs to give me a good reason to buy from them, rather than getting the best deal from online brokers.

A previously troubled dealership with poor customer service, that's rapidly on the turnaround and I would be happy to recommend.
The Long Version -
I previously posted a 1 Star-review of WLMG Reading, The sales team were poor, childish and unable to communicate. The Aftersales/Service Team was appalling with zero communication, lies and continual excuses for poor service. Staff turnover was very high. HOWEVER, as of a few months ago things appear to be quickly on the mend and i believe they are reaching a stable, usable and honest service. Kevin (Aftersales Manager) has only been there a few months but is making a positive impact on the dealership.
I will upgrade my review to 5 Stars if my next visit is as positive as my last.

The seller was very nice the first time I met him, later when discussing finance, he got very defensive and not very friendly anymore when I was asking for some offers available for the same car but other specifications.
He did not have lots of knowledge about the car I was interested to but he managed to get the answers to my questions asking to a colleague.
At the end I decided to get another car from another brand. Definitively, if he would had been more accommodative and nicely pushy, I would have bought the Jeep.

sorry for my late review 1st of all i have owned my suzuki vitara now for 4 weeks & am over the moon with the car the performance is surprisingly good for a 1.4 engine & great on fuel economy so well done on helping me choosing the right car for me.
Now for the special mention for Daniel O the suzuki sales rep he really helped me through the purchasing process, & was not pushy he seems to understand that for some people this is the 2nd biggest purchase they may ever make, & at times its not easy, thanks Daniel you made the experience easy, i must also mention Nick F the sales manger he was very helpful as well & so this was a good experience & i love my new car.
I believe that the suzuki franchise at WLMG is fairly new & they are still finding their feet so i must mention that sometimes i had trouble getting hold of Daniel or Nick but the other staff at the dealership would answer the phone & take a message & always got back to me promptly or the message was passed on & Nick or Daniel would call back this has not always happened at other dealerships i've dealt with in the past, keep up the good work WLMG thanks again very satisfied customer.
