No question was a bother and it was reassuring to be able to have personalised video of the car and no surprises when I physically saw the car. I was looking to sell my car as I had found one I really liked privately and the buyer I had lined up had to pull out due to Covid closing her shop. I searched all the usual Car buying sites and came across Arnold Clark. Their valuation for my car was a lot higher than all of the others and close to what I was going to sell it for privately. I filled out all the details required on their website and selected a time and date to suit me for an appointment which was very quick and easy. This was all confirmed through an email and was very clear with what I needed to take with me. I was a little sceptical as I have never sold a car this way before. Coincidentally I received 2 offers for my car via an advert I had placed a day before my appointment, both less than my Arnold Clark offer. I arrived at my appointment time and was met by Luke Linter, a cheerful and friendly young guy who chatted and proceeded to check my car over and then confirming my car was exactly as I had described it. Back into the Covid Secure office, screens and sanitisers everywhere, and we went through the paperwork before confirming that their offer was as stated and there weren’t any transaction fees of any kind unlike a lot of the other buyers and Luke made their payment into my account. All of this took place in less than 30 minutes. I had sold my car, stress free and for a great price. I wouldn’t hesitate in using them again and would highly recommend them to anyone. After an advert was placed in Auto Trader for my daughters Toyota Aygo, I received a phone call from Matt at Arnold Clark Click and Collect, Southampton. He offered a price for the car which my daughter was happy with and it was arranged that I would bring the vehicle into the branch the following day. Amazing customer service! We had nothing but issues for a whole month of purchasing a car and by chance it finally got delivered to this branch for us to pick it up. This wasn’t their deal,literally just a place for us to pick up the car yet they shown the best customer service we received all month. Very honest and genuine. Made sure we were comfortable from the word go offering refreshments and to have a look around the car as that was never shown from the original dealership! Our car got delivered from a dealership who gave no communication to the extent it was delivered absolutely filthy inside and out. Mark very kindly went out of his way to clean it as best as he could for us even though it wasn’t his job to do. He and his lovely colleague also helped us with advice on the car, where to get fuel (as it came on the red light after having been promised a full tank) and also gave us some little freebies of air fresheners etc to make up for the bad experience of another branches customer service. It is no fault of the staff , my only disappointment was the time it took for transport to finally drop the car off and the current restrictions. Overall the 5 stars would be there if things out of their control were different. 5 star staff and customer service, love the car and hope to see the team again in the future. I would have given 5 stars, however only issue was that the day before we rang to get directions and the lady on the phone told us that she would email them to me so we knew where we were going; however this email never arrived. I sold my car to Arnold Clark last week and I've got to say ... I can't fault this company. Very professional and friendly, felt no pressure and the price I was given was good too, I had previously had a quote from wewantyourmotor and Arnold Clark gave me a final price which was nearly £1000 more. The process was very simple, I got an online valuation and booked an appointment in the nearest center, once there I was greeted by a lovely lady, Kathryn, she took a look around my car to inspect it and gave me a final price, the price wasn't the one I was given on my online valuation due to a few scratches and part service history but I was more than happy with the final offer as it seemed very fair and it only dropped just slightly. We then went through all the necessary paperwork and she made the transfer of payment to my bank and said it would take 3-5 working days. Before I left I thought I would ask about hiring a car for a couple of days seeming I didn't have one anymore, Not only did I get a lovely new hire car for 2 days I got it for an amazing price! I paid £47.00 for 2 days! The whole process took about half an hour which is impressive, the staff were very accommodating and friendly and I would highly recommend Arnold Clark if your looking to sell your car for a decent price hassle free. The money only took 2 days too! Very good, honest company.

The collection centre was very helpful and Max went out of his way to sort out problems with taxation and other things with the selling branch in Glasgow. I was only disappointed that the car did not come as described on the website, in particular there was no reversing camera or park assist, both of which were in the online particulars. Overall a good experience with the collection point, but perhaps more care is needed in the branches to describe their vehicles accurately.
