Bought an Astra back in February. Love the car but experienced a fault almost straight away. I live quite far away from this garage and they sorted the fault out for me no problems. 5 months later unfortunately the head gasket decided to go. They were fair and professional and fixed the problem without any arguments. When I was without my car they loaned me a vehicle to use whilst mine was being fixed. Great customer service throughout and now very happy with the car. Would use again. Have had bad experiences with used car garages before but would class these guys as one of the best.

I purchased a used Audi and all I can say is that everyone we spoke with was courteous and very professional. In particular Mark guided us through the whole process without pressure and was able to answer all of of questions. We picked up our new vehicle, everything was ready, after two weeks we had a small problem which they dealt with smoothly and efficiently without quibble. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a decent well priced affordable car. Thank you all!

Fantastic service - 3rd car bought / swapped with the garage in Totton and Southampton branches. My partner has also now purchased a car too from them. I could not recommend them enough - They have fixed problems for me prior to taking the car and have always given me a fair price. I have bought a mini this month from them after trading my car in, I noticed on the way home the back windscreen wiper was not working, they called me and straight away, they are fixing it for me this Friday -- Cannot qualm with that. These guys have always given me very good service, and it is a pleasure doing business with them and their quality cars.

I bought a 55 plate Audi A3 sportback a year ago and have had absolutely no problems with it. Drives very well and has been very reliable with its exterior and interior aesthetics all in tact and no electrical or mechanical faults. The sales person was called Scott who was flexible with payment plans and happily took my little fiesta as a part exchange. With the MOT coming up i will be getting in contact.

I've bought two cars from this garage within the last 3 years. The first I was able to part ex my vehicle for a really good price and picked up a cracking Honda Civic. To this day (touch wood) we've had no issues with it at all. Within the last year, I returned to Paynes to buy myself a cheap run around and received the same stellar service. Found a car and was able to get a decent deal with no issues or fuss. Highly recommend Paynes to anyone looking for an affordable second hand car. Scott is a great guy and really does all he can to help. I'll be returning in a few years (maybe sooner) to upgrade my civic!

Bought a Vauxhall Astra from Paynes Road 2 months ago and it was a very straightforward purchase with friendly staff. After a couple of weeks the gearbox began to make noises so took the car back. I was expecting to be told that I would have to claim from the insurance but was very impressed that they took the care back and replaced the gearbox with no quibbles.

The sales staff are really helpful, but extremely relaxed which is a refreshing change from all of the pushy staff that we came across at other garages. The experience all round was cool... What a place! I arrived at 6pm of a Tuesday evening, asked to have a look and an Audi A5 and was just handed the keys and left to it. The guy I dealt with "Scott" then said if I want to test drive the car just drive it up to the office and he will give me the trade plates and I can go out a drive, so that's what I did! No pressure, nobody breathing down your neck. Needless to say I bought the car but the service I received was second to none and the car is just a dream. Great guys and a great place. One of the few relaxed dealerships left. Amazing!
