I first visited MG Southampton in August 2021 and my appointment went smoothly whereby I ordered my new car on that day itself . Unfortunately as we all know across the world due to the pandemic and the car chip issue the order couldn’t be delivered on time . However , Martin as promised kept contacting me every 3-4 weeks just to update me with the timeline of the order which initially was Nov 2021 but I received the car only today on 23rd April 2022. I would like to extend my thanks to Martin and Simon for their assistance given to me. It was a pleasure doing business with them and I’ll see you in a year time for my first car servicing . P.S . The coffee was lovely and helped in reflecting whilst sipping the coffee on the purchase 🤭🤭😆😆

It took several months to get my new MG but that wasn't the dealers fault, it's a problem at present with every new car. Throughout the wait Beth kept me up to date with what was going on. June 22: Very Good service with a really helpful electronic check in and an informative service video, sent to me so I could see what they were doing. They mentioned that my breaks were at 21.3mm but didn’t explain how good or bad that was so I wasn’t sure if I should get them changed and the quote was higher than expected. When I arrived to pick up as agreed, I had to wait a while but not too long and Gareth (staff member) was very helpful and professional dealing with me throughout the whole process. Car was vacuumed and washed on pick up, that was a nice touch. Thanks

This is a very busy garage and sales centre, but despite the customer volumes the service has remained consistently excellent and the staff are wonderful. Gareth is a particularly excellent ambassador for the company, managing my expectations carefully and keeping me fully informed (ie you won't get your car back in a few hours, but you can book a courtesy car etc). The online inspection report video and text updates are also a nice touch. Fully recommended!

Picked up our new car this morning. HS exclusive with a beautiful red leather interior and black pearl outside. After the initial wariness of driving a brand new car I soon settled into driving it. My husband and I are both delighted with it, If you want to buy a car then go and find Himat here at Richmond Southampton you wont find better. He is the best. We want to adopt him and are so pleased that we walked away from Portsmouth Branch and the harrassment from their sales person, we wanted to buy the car so went to Southampton to see what they were like and were not dissapointed. He is up front about everything and with no pressure to buy. Communication is second to non. We did have a bit of a wait for delivery as does everyone right now due to the chip shortage but we were kept informed every step of the way from manufacture to being on the boat then arrival in UK and delivery to dealers. Cant ask for anything more. Took delivery of a 19 plate, automatic MG ZS last week which I am very pleased with. I visited the showroom the previous week, without appointment, and was advised by a manager initially and then by Himat. Both were very professional. Himat made arrangements for me to test drive a vehicle and then sourced the specific model from the Guildford branch. The part exchange price for my car was appropriate and I was able to collect my new car within only a few days, which at the time of collection, was immaculate. All associated products such as Gap insurance, interior fabric protection, and service plans were offered but never in a “pushy” way. I chose to take up both Gap and Service products because they appear to be good value. I would definitely recommend this dealership.
