Well what can I say from start to finish of collecting my Proace City Van the service I received was absolutely superb from Gabrielle. I was kept informed at all times. when I rang asking questions Gabrielle Ian and Andrew were very helpful nothing was too much trouble and Gabrielle went that extra mile..well done you wonderful team..I highly recommend SNOWS TOYOTA .. and I certainly wouldn't hesitate to purchase another vehicle from SNOWS Toyota again in the future..by the way absolutely love my Proace City what a smooth drive love it.. thank you so much..

First time I have bought a Toyota, and I have to say I was highly impressed with the service at Snows, Southampton. The whole sales process was handled by Gabrielle Dart who was really friendly, efficient, had great product knowledge. She even arranged for a test drive of the car I was interested in there and then. I was able to collect the car the next day, all spotlessly prepared and with all the extras I had ordered. They even sent me some videos of the car, on how everything works, before I drove it away. The little Yaris is perfect for our needs. We recently had our Toyota prius repaired here. This was done to an amazingly high standard and as part of the work, Dan who is the general manager, said that he would also look at some damage to the rear spoiler. When I came to pick up the car, the spoiler had been overlooked. However, these things happen and I accepted that. The following day I received a phone call from Dan to say that he had been away and unfortunately the repair to the spoiler had been overlooked. He carried on and said that he was a man true to his word and that he would like to get the spoiler repaired for us and could I bring it in. The thing is, is that he did not need to do that, but he did it anyway. (Not only that, but before any of the original damage was repaired, he asked to see the car to check that it was safe to drive before we bought it in for the repair. We didn’t pay for that and again, he didn’t have to do that). I did this and as promised the work was carried out, again to a very high standard. I have never come across customer service like this before and I wanted to congratulate both Dan and Kenny, the managers there, for being such a credit to the company. Guys, you are amazing! Their incredible service, is of course backed up by the technicians who carried out the work and they to should take some of the credit. If their bosses are reading this, then you need to take note. Success is often based on customer service and it’s this sort of thing that is a prime example of what that service should look like. You are not paying them enough!

From having had a bad experience at another dealership we were a bit apprehensive - however upon noticing we were wandering around aimlessly a very nice guy came up to us (even though he was with a customer) to make sure we were ok. I recently used Snows Toyota Southampton to carry out a warranty repair on my 3yr old Landcruiser. I used the Southampton branch as they answered the phone quickly and were able to inspect my car on the same day. Harrison was the Service Adviser who dealt with my case, he was always polite and courteous and kept me updated as to progress. In a nutshell I experienced a very rare internal coolant leak on the EGR pipework. The technician dealing with the car was Craig and he managed to diagnose the defect and change the pipe without removing the engine. In the end the EGR cooler and pipework were all changed free of charge and the car has been perfect since. A big thank you to Harrison and Craig for their professional approach throughout this rare and challenging job. You are a credit to Toyota. Best Regards Dave Compton

Hello Toyota Uk, I am very sad. My dream was Toyota Aygo. With a lot of work and savings, I bought a 2009, it was the happiest day of my life, even though I wasn't very young, and I needed some repairs, I was proud of my achievement... But unfortunately on 05 /11 it was raining a lot, and I had an accident 😭 thank God, I didn't get hurt, I was very scared, and sad. Salesman James was friendly, helpful and nice when we ordered the car. However, he just put new car key on the desk and said "your new car is just outside at the customer parking" on our new car collection day. I was quite disappointed and shocked by this behaviour as we never got treated like this before when we collected cars from other dealerships. Not sure this is Toyota's regular service, poor training to staffs or just this particular salesman wasn't having a good day. We didn't have any other issues apart from this unusual behaviour or careless impression at the last minute on collection day which imo is very important to give customers a positive memory as this is where the relationship journey with dealer and customer starts. We expected the salesman to at least walk to our brand new car and talk about it a little even if we already know everything about the car. We weren't expecting an expensive bottle of champagne, a massive bouquet or a bag of detailing products. Anyway, that was very odd and I can't rate more than 3* as it left a poor customer service impression in our memory.

I was very pleased with the service of my car, it was booked in quickly and efficiently, however I was surprised to notice my windscreen wash was filled up but nobody pointed out that the drivers side doesn't work!! Also, I did request that somebody look at some accident damage on my car, I was told a repair person would look at it, I had a telephone call from the repair centre whilst I was sat in the reception area waiting for my service to be completed - I assumed he was going to suggest a date I bring the car back to be repaired but when I told him I was in reception he said he'll pop over to chat about the damage to me. He didn't turn up, so when I'd been handed the keys back after the service I called the gentleman back, he sounded surprised and asked if anybody had been to see me. I told him nobody had been to see me and that I was now going to get my car as the service had been done, he asked me to wait by the car and someone would come over.... I waited outside for another 10 minutes (bearing in mind I am disabled) and I find it difficult to stand around, so I gave up and left to go home. Not very good customer service from the repair centre!! Other than that I was pleased with the service and the staff in the showroom were very courteous and polite

I have an elderly Toyota Land Cruiser Amazon (2002) Unfortunately it required two rear shock absorbers in order to pass the MOT. I live in Bournemouth and went to Hendy Toyota who were unhelpful and indeed gave incorrect information regarding the availability of the shock absorbers for the self levelling suspension. Telling me that the parts were obsolete and as my car was an import they could not take the job. I spoke to Gareth in Snows Service department. He was both helpful and informative. After researching a new hybrid car on line I went to Snows to have a look at the options. Was looked after by an a great young salesman, Shane Bryce who took me on a long test drive, patiently teaching me to use an automatic for the first time in 43 years! Must have been a scary experience with a few lurches and rapid stops, until I realy got the hang of not using my left foot or having a stick shift. Settled on a Corolla Hybrid Exel 2L. Fantastic experience driving this for about an hour with Shane. Felt very confident by the time I returned to base (he looked a lot less shaken about too). Then had some coffee whilst the sales paperwork was done. Shane has offered to take me on another "refresher" drive when I collect the car next week. Much appreciated! Great service and a great car. Pretty good trade in on my old Vauxhall, so all in all absolutely delighted.

However, I was amazed, (sincerely!) at the courteous, VIP-feel reception I received from Service Executive ~ Jeff Ng. The quality practical service was no exception. As it happened, there was no fault found, and no charge. Snows, obviously don’t look for unnecessary stuff to charge for! My present, and previous independent local repair garage owners have recommended Toyotas, and I plan for my next one to be a new E.V.; preferably from Snows!

Service and service support at Snows Toyota Southampton is awesome and in particular support provided by Matthew Cowlard, who helped me through what was for me a serious car crisis. A few weeks before this Christmas (2018) my 8-year old Toyota Prius with 101k on the clock developed a nasty problem of failed head gasket & water pump failure plus it had other age related engine related problems. There was also concern about head damage and possible damage on the block. All of a sudden repair costs looked like they could be very significantly higher than the value of the car and for an unscrupulous independent car dealer that would have made for an ideal opportunity to try to sell me a new car given the age & mileage on my Prius. Quite to the contrary, Matthew Cowlard along with the unsung heroes in the service bay worked through the problems on my car and at each stage sent me online videos and photos of problems identified. That in itself was impressive. Then not only did Matthew organise a new courtesy car for me, for the almost two weeks my car was in for repair but he also kept in contact by phone and email almost every day advising me of progress. The repairs took a little longer than expected as the head needed to be sent away to a specialist company for testing and a small amount of machining, which was a great relief that I was not going to need a new cylinder head. Then the best thing of all was that when I picked up my car costs came in at 50% lower than I was first quoted and far far lower than if I had ever needed a new engine. Snows Toyota Southampton provide a level of service you can only normally dream of (the free coffee is pretty good as well) and I will certainly be buying my next Toyota car from Snows Southampton in 2019 - hopefully a new RAV4 when it launches in 2019.
