I attended the fantastic and vibrant new state of the art, architectural masterpiece of a showroom for my cars MOT. I was greeted by the receptionist Efram who was looking very handsome and attended to my every need. I was serviced by Ian Parker who was amazingly attentive. The General Manager Mark Toms was very polite and professional. I briefly spoke with their sales apprentice Ben, it’s good to see a business helping college students with work experience. We have had two most excellent experiences in Dec 2021. First when we had a screen failure due to the software needing to be updated and second d for our annual service. The first was dealt with most efficiently and expedited to ensure we were without a car for too long. The second when we had the car collected and returned for its service in record time with a video and written account what had been done. Can’t beat Snows Volvo Service!

There was no defined arrival time so I was able to arrive a little later than expected after a traffic delay and still have the car completed early afternoon. I also enjoyed the new facility with its excellent coffee, took a bus downtown and the logistics worked really well. The car was nicely cleaned and the cost was as predicted. Firstly, I was really pleased to get my car collected from home for it's first service and MOT. The driver was pleasant and good mannered. This is a very useful facility making the appointment so much easier and convenient. I would add this was not made available at my previous garage. Good feedback was given by the service manager on the work needed and prices were reasonable especially the offer on the aircon clean. Just a minor point on the complimentary wash and vac, the boot was not cleaned. Overall though very impressed.

Nice modern looking clean showroom with plenty of parking and easy to get to. Limited seating area for waiting and cafe very limited options just a coffee from the machine and juice in the fridge. Limited availability on courtesy cars as well. Quality of the work was good and very friendly staff.

Calum went above and beyond to help us find the right car, organising test drives across several different vehicles and clearly and honestly explaining the pros and cons of each one in respect to our needs. He then found us our perfect car by searching and finding one not even on the forecourt yet, which matched every single one of our criteria! We would never have found it without his help. Only issue is with the booking and I’m fully aware this is centrally processed and not reflecting this dealer - before seeing the car they want to up-sell every little extra; wipers, antifreeze, aircon. I mentioned the rear discs and she booked them in for replacement without asking! NO! Volvo, I have had this car for a few months- was the liquids not checked at pre-delivery? Usually the tech checks the car and reports possible out of service package extras - So I don’t like the rip off mentality! Nice to know you got a great dealer when you buy your great car I have bought a used car recently from here And the team was very friendly but later after couple of months a warning came up at my dashboard and went to the service centre as they managed a loan car (2021 prestigious XC90) and the sales manager Nathan and Mark at the service centre found that the problem is from the battery and is not included in the warranty but even though as a customer buying a great car from a great dealer they managed and replaced it with a new one for free What else should anyone look for when they buy a new / used car !! After having my new car for a couple of days which incidentally wasn't purchased from Snow's Volvo I found a couple of small marks on a piece trim on the interior. I went into Snow's Volvo and have to say the experience was five-star from beginning to end I was greeted by a very pleasant young lady and introduced to Ian Parker a senior service executive, Ian examined the damage on my vehicle and confirmed it shouldn't have been there he liaised with the supplying dealer on my behalf and after a few telephone conversations the part is now on ordered and will be fitted when it arrives from Sweden. I would highly recommend Snow's Volvo to anybody that requires a high level of customer service and attention to detail, thank you Ian for a great experience during my first visit to your dealership.

Snows are a well know trusted dealer in Southampton and I have bought several cars from them over the years. Nothing is too much trouble and they always go the extra mile in customer service both in the showroom and after sales on the service side........but most importantly they always phone you back if they can't take your call! My latest purchase is a new XC60 T8 Hybrid which is now 3 months old, has been totally faultless and is achieving an average of 64 MPG utilising the plug in electric charging as well as the 2.0 Litre supercharged engine! Thus enabling me to run a vehicle with great performance together with even greater economy! In my opinion the best all round SUV on the market......even my Great Dane loves it!! I have solar panels and a Tesla "power wall" battery at home so can run the car very cheaply and when the sun doesn't shine I can charge it via the mains on economy 7 (half price electric) overnight! Happy Days

I hardly ever write reviews, but I feel that the level of help, service and support I’ve received at Snows Southampton over the years certainly deserves a five star rating. The service department staff are friendly, really helpful and knowledgeable and I’ve always been kept fully informed of the status and progress of services and repairs through the use of video, texts and phone calls. As important as these things are, after the recent service on my car (purchased from another Volvo dealership) I was incredibly impressed with integrity and professionalism of Ian when he told me that he’d checked the paperwork on my car and he’d found it was subject to a 5 year service agreement which I was totally unaware of. He’d gone the extra mile, and I had a totally unexpected free service as a result. What more can I say, it’s got to be 5 stars.

Friendly staff and the work was carried out fast and well, the courtesy car was very convenient, and its price was reasonable. the part I liked the most was the video showing my car being serviced that I was sent by your mechanic. That allowed me to authorise work to be carried out confidently, knowing that I am not being encouraged to change things that still work fine in the car; but most importantly, I was consulted before you carry out any work that not planned, avoid thus unexpected cost. I will sure be using your services again for sure in the future. Question: My previous garage(I am not naming it here, as not appropriate for your review) replaces any lightbulb for free for their customers. Do you do that as well?

This would be a 5 star but I believe nothing is perfect and people often don’t pay attention to 5 star reviews however this was as close to perfect you will ever get. I have never bought a car through a dealer before as my experience is that they are pushy know it all just trying to to sale everything even if you don’t need it, but I couldn’t have been more wrong Wayne Haddon made it the most enjoyable experience. Right from the start he was engaging very knowledgeable and very helpful. Wayne really went out of his way to help and answered all of my questions of which there was many, and was always there when I needed a help. Saw my new car online and called up regarding it. Very good communication over the phone, reserved the vehicle with a £99 refundable deposit. Arrived to view and test drive the vehicle, Callum Richards came out while I was walking around the other used vehicles and was friendly and welcoming from the get go. Felt easy to talk to, explained everything very well, signed all paperwork to go for the test drive. Post test drive, the receptionist was very attentive and guided me back to Callum office where I proceeded to purchase the vehicle. He explained clearly all the optionals such as paint coating, body work and wheel repairs plus GAP cover. We reminisced over some of the old Toyota vehicles and generally had a good chat. My overall experience with Callum Richards and snows Toyota Southampton was welcoming, friendly and very efficient and i would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for either a new or used Toyota.

I had a great experience with Snows Volvo, following a late evening message via Autotrader I received an immediate response and a follow up call the next morning. Wayne from their Sales department is very personable, his approach of recording a short personalised video taking me through the vehicle was unexpected yet extremely welcomed and helpful. I was able to book a test drive for the following day and the process was extremely efficient and enjoyable. As I had done my research I knew that it was likely the car that I would buy, being able to place a small fully refundable deposit to secure 3 days of exclusivity was a natural step for me. The test drive was great and Wayne's recommended drivng route allowed me to experience driving as I would in my everyday life. After making the decision to go ahead with the purchase I was able to negotiate a number of extras for a great price. A few days later I was able to collect my car, it had been fully detailed and was prepared amd presented for my collection. Wayne went out of his way earlier in the day to register the vehicle on my behalf at the post office, without this I wouldn't have been able to drive it away that evening so that was very welcomed. Although I had managed to arrange my own insurance, Snows Volvo provides 5 days of free cover which had given me peace of mind and confidence that I could drive the vehicle home if I didn't find time to get insurance. Overall I had a fantastic experience, anyone who finds their car at Snows Volvo can look forward to great customer service 👌

My 2016 XC90 would not start in April 2020. Volvo on call arranged for an engineer to attend. He was unable to help. In hope I called Volvo Southampton who were closed due to the Coronavrus pandemic. I left a message not expecting a call back. I did receive a call very promptly from an engineer at Volvo Southampton. His name is Drew Batcheler. I explained the problem and issues with starting and he stated he was 99% certain it was an electronic steering lock malfunction. As I am a key worker Drew Batcheler arranged for the part to be ordered and delivered to Southampton Volvo over the Easter weekend and he booked my car in for repair on the Tuesday after Easter. Volvo on call arranged for the recovery of my vehicle first thing on that Tuesday and transported to Southampton. At Midday on that Tuesday I received a call from Drew Batcheler to tell me that my car had been repaired and was ready to collect. Even better was that it was covered in full under manufacturers warranty. I cannot praise highly enough the customer service provided by Drew Batcheler and this, combined with his expert knowledge to diagnose the problem over the phone, together with rapid repair arrangements was extremely impressive. Drew Batcheler was able to assist me in very difficult circumstances. He is a credit to himself and Volvo Southampton and I wanted to ensure that he is recognised and appreciated for his professionalism.

My wife and I recently attended to look at a used vehicle, that we had viewed on the website. 1st impressions were not the best, a salesman walked out of the showroom, looked at us and shuffled off very quickly, trying his hardest not to look at us. We only realised he worked there when he later sat at his desk. However, I am sure that if we got to speak to him, he would have been really helpful. But on going into the showroom we were greeted by Vicky Yule..... what a difference. Vicky was extremely helpful and knowledgable and made us both feel at ease in the car buying process, something we were both unsure about, as we had not bought from a main dealer in many years. She worked hard to find us the best finance package, keeping it in our budget. During this she kept the mood friendly and relaxed. When we viewed the car it was nice, however was a little dirty. But when we returned to collect it, what a difference, the team had worked hard to clean and detail it, inside and out. It was an approved used vehicle that was like a brand new one. Really impressed by the valeter’s, so thank you to the team that worked on it. We would not want your work to go unrecognised. We would definitely return to Snows given the service from Vicky and no doubt we will continue to get from the service department in the future.

VERY helpful and friendly staff member, who ordered my body matched paint/lacquer spray can for my Volvo S80. I'd managed to scrape my car against a brick pier, whilst exiting our residents car park during the recent snow. Only very superficial damage and the £15 for the actual spray can seems like a bargain. UPDATE: Collected my paint today (03/04/2018) and asked the young guy if he could advise me on a switch's purpose, on my console. Snows volvo have a clean customer reception area, the parts department does good trade discount to independent garages, I was disappointed they would not program a module on a vehicle when they did not fit it, I understand they had liability concerns but common sense on the repair would have prevailed here. I got the module programmed elsewhere and had no come back, been over 2 years now.

From the moment that you walk in, you know that you're in an environment where you can look at the cars at your leisure, or have the benefit of the excellent sales team to go through the features of the Volvo range, normally with a nice cup of coffee. You pay a premium to buy a car from a main dealer and all I got was a very poorly prepared Volvo which had a ten minute wash off at most. The next day after receiving the car I spent around 8 hours of my own time valeting, polishing and touching in with paint the various marks around the car to an acceptable standard. Inside the leather and interior plastics hasn't been cleaned in five years since the car was new. I was also told that any marks to the paint would be buffed out or rectified before collecting the car which they hadn't done. All of this should have been been completed. The car itself though I'm pleased with and it drives lovely, being the D5 model goes well too. Snows Volvo need to address their valeting /preparation skills as they leave alot to be desired.
