Brilliant experience. Kevin super helpful driving out to my daughter to test drive. Arranged everything for the day we wanted to pick up and kept us updated along the way. Kevin actually knew the important stuff about car (done a few test drives recently and many don't) and was just super nice guy to talk to without the hard sell pressure. Oh and the car was competitively priced with solid warranty.

Just bought a brand new Citroen C4 Shine Plus Pure Tech and the whole buying experience and the car itself has been amazing. Initially I didn’t know what car I wanted but after speaking to one of the salesman called Kevin I was left with no doubt as to which car I was going to be driving away with. The whole process was made so easy due to the salesman Kevin explaining everything to me in detail including the whole part exchange process which I was a bit worried about. The car and spec has gone over and above my expectations and has lots of added extras which were thoroughly explained to me. We've bought cars here, always well explained. I have a service contract here, I do find it hard to communicate with the service department, probably my fault. I had a tire to change, and they quoted me £51 but when I came to pay it was that plus VAT which made it more expensive than I could have got elsewhere. Slightly disappointed. On arriving at Wilmoths Southampton to look at a new car I was greeted like an old friend, offered coffee (which is good coffee) and taken through the choice and availability. I had said when my wife bought her C3 Aircross Flair that I would probably look at a C5 Aircross as my next car. Hannah remembered that and I am pleased that she did as I was considering a C3 Aircross. The choice was made and paperwork completed - all was explained as we progressed. During the period between ordering and taking delivery I was kept informed of progress. I was also sent an extensive list of registration numbers to make my personal choice. On delivery everything was well explained by Hannah - even to some of my less technical questions. Having had the car for a few days now I can say that I am well pleased. The gear change is silky smooth, the engine is lively and the car is quiet. Personally, I think my wife would like one now! Thanks, Hannah - great customer service!

Following an engine management system fault en route to Southampton to join a cruise we telephoned Freeborn in a slight panic. We had no need to worry. Being told to get straight to the garage, ourselves and our luggage were moved seamlessly to the cruise terminal and the car repaired whilst we were away. On our return we were collected at the port and returned to the garage where we were pleasantly surprised to find our vehicle not only repaired but also valeted inside and out......and all at no charge under warranty! Congratulations and a massive thank you to Dan and his service team for such efficient and sympathetic service.

Have purchased 7 vehicles over the years from Freeborn Southampton and the service has never been anything other than excellent. The premises are bright, airy and clean and the staff are very smart and knowledgeable . The most important thing to me is that when I take my car in for a service the time of completion is always accurate and I do not have to waste time hanging around for it to be completed. In the event you are able to wait there is coffee and newspaper supplied to help pass the time. I would recommend Citroen Freeborn without hesitation. Finally when purchasing a new or second hand vehicle ( I have done both) the sales people will go to great length to make sure you get what you want.

The sales advisor Tony Black was very helpful and explained everything.I travelled from the isle of wight to buy the car even though i could have purchased from my local citroen dealership on the island. The service was 110%.I have dealt with many dealerships in the past and have not received such good service. Tony was patient and explained everything to me.There was no pressure selling when i first went to look for a car to buy and i was left to make my mind up with which of the 2 i was looking at. I was even able to part exchange my beloved 10 year old citroen c5. I would definantly purchase from freeborn again if they allow me to come back and i wouldnt hesitate in recommending them to my friends and family. After being disappointed by main dealers for many years I was wary about going to a citroen garage for advise on what to do with my wife’s car. We spoke to a mechanic I believe called John, who had a quick look at our car and advised the best options for us, there was no scaremongering as we have had at previous main dealers, we have decided on his advise to have a few repairs done to make it possible for us to trade it in, in a few months time once my wife is back driving. We will definitely be going back to wilmoths to decide on which car to purchase next after the advise he has given us this week
