Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Like the high functioning idiot I am, I broke the mother in laws motor mover. and after practically been told to "go forth and coupulate" by other caravan dealers, I went to Active Leisure and Callum rode in like a knight in shining armour. He managed track down the part needed just in time for holiday. So now I can enjoy a beer without being nagged at. Callum you sir are a legend.

A Fantastic place to purchase a Caravan from. A friendly, and efficient service. Mark went out of his way to show us all the Ins and outs of our new caravan. First I would like to say what an excellent place to choose a caravan from "Active Leisure". Nothing is too much trouble for the team, Mark and Paula, especially Paula, she spends so much time advising you etc. I have chosen our Caravans from Active Leisure for about 20years now, and definitely would NEVER go anywhere else, they are a brilliant team.

Shout out to the team at Active Leisure . Spotted some water coming in the front windows on my 2019 Affinity just before its 2nd service. Now whilst its a fair point that it shouldn't happen if build quality was better, these guys quickly diagnosed the issue, have sorted a temporary fix and are sorting out parts and a warranty claim with Eddis for a full fix at a later point. Having a great dealer who really are committed to quality customer service makes a hell of a difference.

After spending a while trying to find the right caravan for us as a family, everytime we found one it sold within a matter of days. We found the van we were after at Active and after a quick phone call they ensured the van would be there for us to view as we were travelling quite a way to look at it. On arrival, the staff were attentive and helpful and provided much needed refreshment following a long drive. The van had been well looked after and serviced by them previously so although 8 years old you would have thought it was newer. The offer on purchase of a nights stay in Leek was much welcomed on handover following another drive back a few weeks later. In summary, a very professional outfit, knowledgeable and friendly. If I didn't live do far away I'd buy from them again!!

Mark and the team at Active Leisure are simply AMAZING! We bought our first caravan from them recently and it was the best decision we've made in a very long time. We're first time caravaners and knew absolutely nothing, but Mark has been fantastic in taking the time to go through everything with us. Brilliant dealer, all members of staff we dealt with have exemplary customer service skills. I would especially like to mention both Dave and Mark for whom nothing was too much trouble. This was essentially our first caravan (we did have an extremely old one many years ago but only for one weekend) and on handover Mark gave us a complete run down on everything we needed for a successful maiden voyage. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything really well which left us feeling confident of success. We purchased some accessories at a competitive price from the shop on site but there was definitely no pressure sales techniques. In summary it was a great experience, we felt valued, comfortable and very confident we picked the right dealer. I would wholeheartedly recommend Active Leisure to anyone whatever their requirements and we will certainly be back for servicing and eventually a replacement caravan.

We can only describe the service supplied by Active Leisure as '1st class'. Both the professionalism and courtesy shown by Mark and his staff was a credit to the company. All the caravans on sale were well presented and reasonably priced. From looking for a suitable caravan to the actual purchase was very informative and nothing was overlooked in regard to what was right for us. We initially chose a caravan which we thought would be fine for our towing car, but when Mark checked the various information on both car and caravan, it was just on the towing limit. Albeit it legal, Mark was not keen to make the sale if their was any doubt in regard to safety and or legal compliance, that in itself was very refreshing. Following his advice, we chose a slightly smaller caravan, which we are very pleased with. A first class company, which I would have no hesitation in recommending.

Popped into Active leisure to view a sale caravan that they were advertising, recieved a call from Mark that morning to let me know the van was still for sale, after I emailed the previous evening. We were met by a young man who I believe has not been with the company very long, he showed us the caravan, he did go over what we needed to know... But.. I did have to ask him to leave us to it and let us look at our own leisure, he did, but kept popping back to us, unfortunately I have to say, with typical sales speak.. What did we like... What didn't we like... What would stop us from buying this van etc etc etc... .. I personally have been in sales for over 20 years and find nothing more irritating when you just want to be left is someone trying to close a sale... We told them we would go away and think about it... Only to telephoned again 2 hrs later, to let me know, other people were looking at the van so have I decided as they "didn't want me to miss out" ..and have we had made a decision... I did email that evening to say we possibly would be taking the van... Only to be called again the next morning.. Ultimately, we looked again at other dealerships and went with another more expensive van somewhere else.... The pestering and feeling pressured put me off buying with Active... I am sure with more experience, the young man in question will be able to judge the customer and know when to leave a potential customer alone and know when to close a sale...I am sure this was probably a one off as Active have excellent reviews, so maybe try again in the future, when we are looking for an upgrade ☺️

As our first caravan Mark spent hours with us taking us through what we had bought. We had done the caravan club’s course - which we would also recommend - but buying from a dealer as thoughtful as Active Leisure made all the difference. We left with confidence that we had bought the bits and bobs we needed and knew what to do with it all. He was also up for selling us second hand kit for some things where we were happy to save something on the cost. Gold standard service and not having to over pay for it! Very pleased with the caravan (a new xplore) and definitely chose the right dealer to buy it from.

As you can gather my review is top Mark's all the way , we recently purchased our wobbly box (caravan) after only one visit , quality used caravans , all open and hooked up to electric so you can press all the buttons and flick the switches, lamps in to help you get the feel as if it was yours already , the caravans were spotlessly clean . All caravans fairly priced , and what can I say about the staff , brilliant that's for sure , friendly and very helpful and was a pleasure to visit . We have a Motorhome and our leisure battery decided to pack up whilst staying with friends. We were travelling North and needed to sort out quickly as we would not have EHU at all overnight stops, we called in to Active Leisure, they are caravan dealers, but wow they were brilliant, fantastic service. Gary checked our charger all ok, we decided just to get new battery as our dealer said it is likely to be 3 years old. They had batteries charged and ready to go. When Gary was checking cables he noticed that the alde heating connectors were showing signs of burning and the live wires were exposed. He fixed it all there and then. We were in and out in 15 minutes and now know we are safe and can continue our trip. Would highly recommend this company and a big thank you to Gary and the team there for friendly and efficient service.

This is one of the best caravan dealerships in the country! Having caravanned for over 35 years, and bought and part exchanged a number of 'van's within that time, I can say with confidence that the quality of customer service provided by Mark, Paula and the 'Active' team is above and beyond. I have just taken delivery of a new Buccaneer Aruba which is the second new caravan I have purchased from them. I went back to them because my first experience was so good and this time they have excelled by providing the ultimate in attention to detail. They delivered on every level, from offering a 'better than typical' financial valuation on my existing caravan through to top notch PDI and best ever handover which covered everything I needed to know about all the Buccaneer's bells and whistles. Nice, quiet site and not too far into Leek for supermarkets. Toilets, showers, pot washing and laundry areas are well maintained and spotless. Small play area for kids. Small dog walking area which was a bit disappointing in lack of size. Site is close to areas of interest and walking trails.
