Went along today to have a look at some cars, very nice selection of stock & the owner Michael was very friendly & hospitable. We liked that it was appointment only as a lot of garages we have been to we’re over run with customers which makes it a little awkward & uncomfortable especially when you’re looking to buy something as important as a new car. Would recommend this dealer as he is attentive, friendly & knowledgeable & handled our enquiry professionally even though we aren’t quite ready to buy yet. 5 stars from me

Phoned here twice today looking for some general advice on a few things relating to my finance agreement on a car I bought from another garage a few months back. The garage I bought it from weren’t being very helpful so a friend recommended I ring here for some advice, the guy I spoke to couldn’t have been more accommodating & helpful, I took up almost half hour of his time asking questions & he cleared up all of the issues I had and gave me a path on how to resolve them. Nice to know some genuine folk still about as he gave me his time knowing I’m not in a position buy from there but helped me anyway.

Bought a car from here at Christmas and they did a 12 month MOT on it, the mot had an advisory for discs & pads so I thought I’d enquire about this when I collected it. I asked when they thought they would need changing and to my surprise they had already changed them and had done so free of charge. Really pleasantly surprised they had done this for me & they explained they don’t like their cars leaving with mot advisories for brakes or tyres so will always swap them out before the customer collects the car. Really professional standards.

I would not usually buy a car from a used car dealer; I would often buy new or near used from a dealership. However, like many others, I have found myself in the UK used car market due to the semi-conductor shortage, and as many people will know, buying a used car can be very tricky and intimidating. The best thing about Michael is that he is honest to a fault. So you can be confident you are buying a quality vehicle from him. What sets Michael apart from his peers is his industry-leading customer service. He went above and beyond to give me a positive experience. I have just bought a VW Golf, and soon after purchasing the car, I had some minor issues. I called Michael, and he did everything in his power to rectify the problems in a speedy and timely matter. A testament to Michael's character was his ability to realise I am a conscientious owner and went the extra mile to give me peace of mind. He tailored his service perfectly to meet my needs. If you are in the market for a quality used car and outstanding customer service, you should consider purchasing from Michael. You will not regret it. Be warned his showroom and yard is jam-packed with cars, you may not be able to test-drive your chosen car when you first visit (I bought mine subject to test drive) but that should not discourage you from purchasing as he will do his best to make sure you are happy with the purchase. This guy does not stock bad cars, and I guarantee you will drive away with a smile!

Having been numerous garages to look at multiple vehicles and been disappointed we visited here following a recommendation from a friend. The cars are nicely presented & clean & although a bit cramped for space there are lots to choose from. We found a car we liked & were looked after by the owner who was very laid back with us & we felt very comfortable in dealing with him unlike some garages where the sales tactics were very pushy. We drove the car, liked it & bought the car. It was ready the next day & we were even given £10 to put some fuel in it for our journey home which was a lovely touch. Recently purchased a very nice BMW Touring which was in excellent condition for its year. As a key worker it’s important during the lockdown that I can get to work in A & E & having had my car written off last week it put me in a right pickle as all the garages & showrooms I tried were either shut or didn’t bother to get back to me at all & the courtesy car was set to go back within 48 hours of the insurance company paying me out. MJS was the only garage I felt comfortable with & they got the car ready for me within 24 hours & delivered it to my house. Really professional & bent over backwards to make sure I wouldn’t be without a car which is much appreciated.

Best car purchasing experience of my life! This guy is a top bloke and sticks to his word, there really isn’t many traders left like him! So to start... I bought my 2011 BMW 320D, as you do we negotiated a price we both deemed as fair.Along with a few little extra things like a full MOT, I needed the car there and then so we planned to do this at a later date. Fast forward 4/5 months the MOT is up soon and it’s past the 3 month warranty, this guy is still speaking to me about the car and it’s mot. We agree I should take it instead of him as it would save me travelling, as promised the guy straight up pays for the MOT and more than willing to pay for any work the car would need to pass. They are not your average garage, if anyone is at all hesitant to buy a vehicle from them don’t be! Top service, top after sales, Top bloke!

Arrived to view a Fiesta TDCI, on arrival could not find any onsite parking so had to find a space in the area and walk. They have lots of cars and the ones in the showroom are rammed together so makes it a little difficult to walk around and open doors fully risking marking the cars. Havening said all that, Michael was very friendly, left us to look at the car on our own and was available for query's at my request. Michael let us test drive the car on our own which is a big plus, plenty of people want to sit in with you and won't stop talking about the car so makes checking out the car much more challenging. On completion of the successful test drive and discussions back at the showroom, I purchased the car. Michael arranged for a service and new MOT to be completed prior to pickup. A 6month warranty was provided as well. Overall I am very happy with the service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend MJS Car Sales of Stoke to anyone looking for a used car.
