I recently visited this dealership and I have nothing but praise for the courtesy and help they gave me, I was even given a delicious cup of coffee while waiting for help! Excellent customer service from Vicky in the parts department. My remote key battery needed replacing, not only did she do this for me, without me needing to ask, she also informed me she could replace my tatty old key fob cover at the same time. I now have a remote as good as new, for a fraction of the price.

Spencer saved my marriage (and holiday!)
Driving to the West Country with a car full of children and luggage the battery light came on and small wisps of smoke began to appear from under the bonnet. We pulled off the motorway and googled the nearest LR main dealer - Grange, as it turned out - just a few miles up the A419.
When we arrived the smell, and smoke, had become significantly worse, and there was no electrical power at all in the car.
Spencer, the service manger took a look and immediately diagnosed a failed alternator and likely damaged battery.
He didn’t have one in stock, and all the techs were on other jobs.
This was a disaster for our holiday, and looked to be a hugely expensive undertaking to find hotels for the family etc while we waited for the parts and repair.
Spencer took pity. He sent out immediately for the parts, re-arranged the work allocation for the techs and sent us off to find some lunch.
Just 3 hours later the car was fixed and we were on our way!
Truly outstanding customer service, genuine empathy and kindness, and quite extraordinarily efficient service.
They saved our holiday, my car and likely my marriage!
I cannot commend the team at Grange Land Rover highly enough for the outstanding way in which they cared for their customers.

I have bought three Range Rover Sports from Jenny this year and l know that not many people do that ,but I have to say that all the people at grange have been superb.I bought two L models (2020) and one M model ( 2021).I have finally concluded that if you can get hold of the autobiography spec with the V6 engine discontinued in 2021 you have some motor. OK - it is fair to say that I have had a number of 'issues' with Grange over the past few years (although Robin the Workshop Supervisor has been consistently good).
Notwithstanding this I am delighted to report an excellent bit of service from Spencer - the Aftersales Manager.
Travelling around Wales recently - several hundred miles form home - an alert came on in my Range Rover Sport. The manual appeared to suggest it was serious so I contacted Grange at Swindon.
Spencer listened to my explanation of the problem and was able to guide me on what I should/shouldn't do. The end result was that his advice was 100% sound and I was able to continue with my trip in Wales without further worry.
On this occasion I must say - well done Spencer & Grange !

I have just had a further experience with Grange which must have been incredibly challenging for them (I could understand it if they were doubting what I was telling them !) . Both Robin,and Spencer took it in their stride in a professional manner, thoroughly testing/investigating the issue, producing a solution which I was happy with. Well done again - my previously less than positive view of Grange Swindon has totally changed in recent weeks, due to the excellent attitude towards the customer.

Very impressed with my recent visit. Having noticed a failed headlamp bulb I phoned Grange to organise a replacement. The earliest that I could bring the car in was 2pm the next day and I was told this was no problem and they would see me at around 2. On arrival all paperwork was ready for me to sign and the car was whisked away to the workshop. I barely had time to finish my free coffee and biscuits before the car was returned, all work satisfactorily completed. All of the staff involved were extremely courteous and efficient. Amazing level of customer service from everyone; from the receptionist to the sales team through to servicing who fitted our new roof bars. We bought a Discovery 5 from Grange after having been disappointed by the poor service we received from two other Land Rover main dealerships closer to home. So I enquired about a Range Rover Evoque by calling up the phone number for the Grange Range Rover garage. Shortly after I had a call back from Jamie who dealt with me from the very beginning to the end. He was beyond helpful, went out his way extremely to find my dream car after a few hiccups due to me being interested in ones that were sadly always brought, any how after picky me and wanting only one colour, Jamie managed to find me one within days of my first enquiry about an evoque. His customer service is excellent and if anybody is to go in to the grange Range Rover garage, I would highly recommend Jamie Shields on top of everybody else. I can see where bad reviews are made as the customer service from a few other workers are clearly very poor which I was very disappointed in. Jamie certainly does not have the bad traits of some his colleagues. My mum and myself have only very good things to say about him. He was extremely attentive to everything I said and since buying the vehicle he has still been better than ever replying to any questions I have about the vehicle. He also went out his way too wish me luck with my ongoing health issues and took great care in it which he did not need to do. Any car sale-room would be so lucky to have him on their team. Thanks again Jamie, still in absolute awe and in love with my vehicle! (He even explained to me in high detail how to drive the automatic and explain what everything was to get going as I was useless 🤣)

Arrived to have the 1st year service ,arranged well in advance to find no record of me the car,and replacement car not available even though on Service plan and with someone ringing me to confirm service phone call!! Strange coincidence in that for a recall on safety belt problem to be fixed got it done only to be called again for it to be done again but Land Rover admitted 2nd phone call a mistake.
Suggest all not well with admin Don't mind waiting but but !!! All a nuisance a bit unprofessional and not cutting edge service.However the service lady was very concerned and very good in offering me an immediate service if I waited. I have been buying cars and motorcycles for 47 years. These have included a variety of makes, including Mercedes Benz, Audi, Land Rover, Toyota, Nissan, Ford, British Leyland etc. I can honestly say that my experience with Grange has been probably the best I have experienced, in these 47 years. As I live in Wales a lot of business, had to be transacted, over the phone. From the first time I spoke to Tasmin, I felt that I was going to be looked after and that my business was appreciated. This feeling proved to be true. When I visited the dealership, to look at the Freelander Metropolis, I could not have been more impressed, with all the people I met. Myself and my friend Andy, ( a former Director within Barclays Bank and someone who arranged a £125 million facility for a company I had set and was the initial Chairman of ) both felt very welcome,from the time we walked into the dealership. I have always appreciated, kindness and good service. Even more so as I have spent 5 months, of the last 2 years, in hospital, with a very rare, life threatening, bone cancer condition. Everyone at the dealership, was very kind to me, even to the point of holding the door open to help me get into the disabled toilets, as I need a walking now, to get around. I take a special interest in Jaguar, Land Rover as I was the Financial Director, in the Government, in Wales who recommended the multi million pound grant, to put the production of Jaguar and Land Rover engines, into Fords engine plant, in Bridgend. This was many years ago, it is now hard to see the long term future of this plant, in doubt. I also did a number of grants to Fords transmission and rear axle plant, in Swansea. The staff down there were exceptionally nice and used to pull my leg, at one time, that I was on the staff as I used to spend so much time down there. When Jaguar brought out its first 4 wheel vehicle, the Swansea plant had done a lot of work on the transmission and had one of the prototypes there. When they had it there I was invited down, for an afternoon and was allowed to take the car out for the afternoon, with one of the staff, with me. A great afternoon and a very kind gesture, from a team of people who I enjoyed working with and helping. Unfortunately Ford decided to spin, parts of its business off to a company they set up as Visteon. Some people in the Swansea set up, did not do too well out of this, pension wise. I have taken a real interest in watching the changes in JLR, in recent years, especially since the involvement and injection of funds, by Tata. Going back to the Swindon dealership, I think the ability to add another 3 years, to the 2 year Approved Land Rover Warranty, with the LIKE4LIKE warranty is a great selling point. It is something that I took advantage of,when I purchased my vehicle. It is a worthwhile product, 4 wheel drive vehicles can be very expensive to repair, if a problem, does arise. I think the Swindon dealership and the staff are an absolute credit to the Group and are the JLR brand. This is the first time I have used Grange, had to wait nearly 2 weeks for a date you could look at my car. The work was completed quickly and efficiently.
When I got in my vehicle upon collection the stereo was very loud, the passenger seat had been reclined and moved. The clock hadn’t been reset, was at 12am. I assume from this the battery had been disconnected but I don’t know.

My car was booked at 10am, I arrived at 9:50, my Evoque was efficiently booked in, I sat in the comfotable customer waiting area, with coffee, biscuits, morning papers and Sky news, I caught up with my e-mails and Face book, an glanced at the papers, within the two hours promised, the service was completed and my Evoque returned to me. The Grange new, before, I arrived that there was a service agreement on the car so tbete was no charge, they also upgraded tbe vehicles software
