Came off the motorway with a flat tyre yesterday and a long journey ahead. I had no idea where I was but I needed to get a new tyre. The guys here sorted me out, sourced a tyre, fitted it and I was back on the road again in 20 minutes. Took the stress out the situation and I am extremely grateful. The manager also goes above and beyond to make sure everyone who comes in gets back on the road even if its to his own detriment. I can't recommend this place enough!

Great garage and great customer service. On 2 occasions I have been helped out when needing my car fixed ASAP and where other garages would have turned me away. The first being new tyres and a wheel alignment and the second being coil spring replacements as the front right had snapped. They were honest, well priced and straight to the point - everything you want from a garage. Thanks guys.

I broke down recently just outside Telford on my way to down Gloucestershire on holiday from York. I had a flat tyre that that turned out to also be a cracked wheel. I got recovered into Formula one Autocentres as they had my tyre size in stock. Upon removing the wheel the cracks were discovered and John and the team bent over backwards to help me out and get me back on the road as quickly as possible so I could carry on with my holiday. They were able to get the wheel repaired and new tyre fitted by the next morning all while keeping the cost down! The service was great and I’m very grateful to John and the rest of the team!

Hi I am really sorry for letting you know about my experience as it was bad one as I am pregnant and my husband went to this place of your recommendation I was waiting in shops for him and thought as we booked in advance online it's not walk In so we will get priority but when my husband went there the staff as it was bank holiday seems like they didn't want to work and told him he has to wait for two hours which wasn't plan and not been informed before hand so was annoying so he said to staff he will wait then even if we booked online before hand why should we wait that long what's point to do it online then? So he told staff that he will wait there in car then after few minutes staff came to him and said ok we can squeeze your can in between and do it ,so it wasn't good experience I rather go walk in if its work that way ,so please let your clients know before hand through email or text if it's that long wait so someone can be prepared for it

Very friendly, changed 4 tyres for my trailer for me in less than 15 minutes. We normally take our car for servicing here and they’re efficient and provide a great service. We know John can be a little abrupt sometimes, but he means well and will go out of his way to make sure you get a good service and a good price.

I popped in on Saturday to ask how I would remove corroded dust caps on my tyres and was told I would have to have all new valves put in. As they could tell I was gutted but they said they could squeeze me in there and then if I was willing to wait. They took us up to the waiting room and put on CBeebies for my son, 15 minutes later they had completed it all. Amazing service and I will definitely be going back there!

Had a puncture today just up the road from Formula 1 and just about made it into the depot. The tyre was beyond repair and they didn't have the tyre in stock, but they put the spare on for me so that i could get home without charging me. Fantastic service - thank you very much you saved the day!!

The manager is very kind and importantly honest. He has an abrupt manner, as others have referenced but please look beyond that. I was well and truly ripped off by another very well known garage. Added to the fact that they also destroyed my locking wheel nut and tried to blame someone else. Formula one Telford stepped in, alerted me to having been ripped off by the other garage and replaced all the locking wheel nuts for free. I tried to pay for the kind gesture but the manager refused. I called other garages to check and others confirmed what the manager of Formula One had said. As a result I was able to press hard for a price promise and recover the over payment of almost £200. They are a busy garage and there is nowhere to wait so be prepared to hand your keys over and leave. Given my experience, Formula One Telford will have all my future business. Honesty and kindness goes a long way with me. I couldn't care less if the competent and honest person isn't all fluffy.

Had my car Juke cleaned by the Polish men up by Vineyard road Wellington (did a great job) and the man there noticed my tyre was bald and said I should get it sorted asap! I drove to this place near my home on a Sunday and Ian greeted me and answered my questions and offered immediately to sort it. He went out of his way and checked the other tyre (which also was bald and offered to check tracking). He was so pleasant and efficient and had it ready so quickly for me . I am so grateful as need the car for work. The other important thing to mention is he offered a free re-check in a few weeks. I know from experience this can only be a good thing . Not over impressed. I was the only customer there it's still took some minutes before anyone paid me any attention describe three members of staff seeing me. I had pre-booked a pair of tyres to be fitted at £260 . I was told there was nowhere to wait due to covid when I returned the car was ready but the alloy wheels quite dirty,handprints all over them. Quite a difference from a different garage I use the next so have the other two tyres , let me watch them working explain what they were doing and clean the wheels off once they had been.

Went in for four new tyres on my vw cheapest i could find in Telford, great service no badgering about other services or things you may need, in and out with efficiency and professionalism. best thing was the help John the manager and nick the mechanic gave me when i asked about a problem with my brakes on my Audi QS. i said i had been to a number of garages but none could find the problem, being helpful the manager said bring it down later and we will look at it, one hour later the mechanic had fixed the problem. great management and workforce, all you need to do is ask. thanks for your help lads, i was starting to pull my hair out.

Had my exhaust drop off in the town centre, so called Formula one and explained my situation and was told to bring the car in straight away. On inspection the centre pipe had broken leaving a section welded in the back box, John and Jack did a brilliant job cutting the piece out saving the back box, which in turn saved me £100! Not many places would go out of their way to do that, a massive thanks to John and Jack for a good service which was done really quickly. Thanks guys, will definitely be back with more work.

Awesome service from this garage. Sorted out my sister in laws car at the last min when others couldn't - even the main dealer for her car couldn't remove a wheel locking nut!!! John from this Formula One was the perfect manager, helpful and efficient, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this garage. Price matched the tyres needed and even went a bit lower on the price, stayed past the 6pm closing time to finish the job! Work carried out as agreed and kept in the loop. Although staff were very hasty to point out that any issues found would be reported to me before work commenced. Those issues arrived by phone within the hour and some were trivial. I agreed to proceed with most of the recommendations increasing the cost of the service significantly. Overall I was happy with the work which was completed on time, however upon arriving home I needed to clean oily finger marks from all four alloy wheels and use a leather wipe on my front passenger seat to remove more dust and grime. A little more attention to detail and less obvious enthusiasm to increase my bill would have been good.

This was the first (but certainly not the last) time I have used Formula One and I was very happy from start to finish. The booking process (on which I've commented last week) was easy, the service provided on the day was excellent from start to finish and the price was very reasonable. Additionally whilst there was a very minor issue following the Service as soon as I contacted the office to make them aware John (the Manager) asked me to take the vehicle back whenever I was able to and it was resolved within the hour. I will be using Formula One Telford to look after all aspects of repairs and servicing for our 3 vehicles.

What fantastic service! After noticing a puncture I took my car down to Formula 1 where it was quickly jacked up, the tyre changed and the tracking done and I was out within half an hour. I was really impressed and the price was competitive too. I would highly recommend them.

Rang up in the morning to book in to get a tyre changed, they ordered the tyre in for the afternoon. Got there and they said was a bit of a wait as they was busy which is fine. They were quick to get the tyre changed and then I asked for a wheel alignment, they did that for me and did a deal as I had a tyre from them. The staff were friendly and I had a laugh and joke with them, they even do price promise and if I take the car back within two weeks they will check the alignment for free and make any changes for free. Would recommend going here.

Went to F1 Telford for two new tyres, they were fitted within 40 minutes along with a free winter check which was fine. I had to pay £30 extra though for a rear 2 wheel alignment which took 2 minutes to do and was expensive for the work done. The review would have been 5 stars had they done this out of courtesy as I had paid a lot out anyway. Might try them out for a service next time.

No qualms about the actual fitting, but the ‘bedside manner’ of staff left a lot to be desired (as other reviews pertain to). By way of example, when dropping the car at 10am and asking when to collect - repeating the ‘mantra’ of “anytime time before 1” over and over, when I was simply asking for a more approximate time set a negative tone and certainly did not give the ‘family run’ feel that they advertise. Replying with “I’m sorry sir, we are rather busy this morning. We will do our utmost to fit your car in but it could be any time up to 1pm” would communicate the same message but in a positive way. Of course, when I was then phoned to say the wheel alignment was out when they fitted the tyres - I certainly wasn’t going to send any more of my business their way.

I popped my tyre, and couldn't get it off the car to put a spare one on to get to a garage. I rang formula one, who told me they didn't do recovery/road side service, however they did come out to help me! Within 30 minutes (if that) they had found me at the side of the road, put my spare tyre on, I drove to the garage, and they had a new tyre on. Absolutely amazing service and so quick!!

Booked on line, turned up at 0830 told min 4 hr wait "it's a morning appointment you see not a time slot" no chance of getting it tracked either. Decided to leave car all day with them. Had 2 mile walk to train station😒 As had no one who could pick me up. Rang at 4pm all done. It seems that they had staff ring in sick on the morning leaving manager in a difficult position with customers.

Took my Laguna for its MOT saturday, unfortunately it failed on a few points, however John (The manager) clearly explained everything, got it booked in first thing Monday and got it passing at a good price for everything that was needed. I arrived with one of my Son's wheels that had a slow puncture. I mentioned that we'd put on the spare which had a brand new tyre on it. The chap quickly suggested putting the new tyre on the alloy rim, fix the puncture in the worn tyre and put that on the steel spare rim as the emergency tyre. Son turned up 20 mins later and all done for under £30 in less than 30 mins. Brilliant service.

However would have been 5 stars apart from the fact U had to go back twice, once because the service book had not been stamped and the second time because after the pollen filter had been fitted my glove wouldn't close. I ordered tyres online on the F1 autocentre website and arranged to have them fitted at the Telford branch...I had arranged to have the tyres fitted on Monday but rang up on Saturday to see if the tyres had been delivered because I was in the area and could have popped in. The guy that answered the phone was pretty rude and unhelpful to be honest, eventually he informed me they wouldnt be delivered until Monday so there was no point me going in (which is fair enough) I arrived on Monday and would describe this garage as desperately in need of someone on reception. I joined the cue of customers waiting to be served and eventually my car was booked in. An hour later and the 2 tyres were fitted but I was still left in an empty reception area for 10 minutes waiting to collect my car keys. In short the job was done but the customer service side of things is pretty much none exsistent. This place needs a receptionist and i need to go back to using tyres on the drive.

Called in this morning about 2 tyres needed for my Audi A1. The manager, John, said he was going over to Shrewsbury where they had some in stock (they are an unusual size and I usually struggle to find anywhere to get them without having to wait a few days) and to go in about 3. On arriving at centre for fitment it took a while before my vehicle was attended to as there only seemed to be one person fitting tyres and while waiting there was only one chair in the waiting area which was occupied so had to stand threre for over an hour twiddling my thumbs.Tried contacting their internet sales team while waiting for them to take my vehicle in to try and find out when my first choice of tyre would be available but unable to get through. Not realy the best experience.

Although I got great service, I really had to pay for it. Got charged £450 for parts that I could purchase for £250 from Eurocarparts. Stil saiting for customer services to ring me back, but I am not holding my breath.
