Great service as always at Hawkins Blackwater today. I was changing in my older gear box diesel, for a new hybrid automatic. George on the sales desk was kindness itself in taking the time to explain everything about the new vehicle. Always a smile to ensure that you never feel idiotic for not knowing something that to others must be obvious! Highly recommend the Blackwater team.

We had expressed an interest at another garage and it was not going to happen but was passed onto Hawkins which we were worried about as we were going from a small local business to a larger dealership with no proven record with MG. So I've purchased 2 cactus c4s from hawkins Blackwater, salesman George is the Chap to see for your purchase. But had a Urea fault on a car purchased 3 years ago and they got it in quickly, repaired it same day and finished in time for me to go to work , So a big shout out to Lucy and Nick in service and the people in the workshop Thank you. We wanted to test the new Hyundai Ioniq 5, so we phoned Hawkins and arranged a date. Unfortunately they had rearrange due to lack of availability of the car (apparently there is only one demonstrator in Cornwall), so they phoned a few days before the test drive date to arrange for the following Saturday. There was construction work ongoing on site, but that didn't impact on our visit. There is a comfortable, modern seating area where we waited until the sales advisor had finished with the previous customers. Toilets and customer parking are also available. When it came to the test drive Steve was really helpful and not at all pushy. The test drive was brilliant and we loved the car! Note: the lead time on the Ioniq 5 is currently about 12 months (as at June 2022).

I've recently had to take my car to Hawkins with a fault that came with a car I had purchased from another garage. Lucy Gilbert was absolutely brilliant in handling the situation and liaised with the garage I bought it from. I had been having trouble for 9 months and by the time Lucy had to get involved, I had had enough of the situation and she very kindly did all the work necessary. She was extremely helpful, professional, kind and went out of her way to get everything sorted out for me. I would have no qualms in the future about taking my next car there for any work. The vehicle I bought was not the one I went to look at as unfortunately that one was sold but I am glad it was as what I ended up buying was far better. Simon advised me, he didn't pressurise me in any way and gave me all the help I I needed. The service I received was 1st class and I was treated with importance and respect. After the very poor service I was given at Hawkins kia Hayle Simon restored my faith in the Hawkins Motor Group. My history and experiences with Hawkins Motors goes back to 1976 - a well established family business here in Cornwall. Hawkins Motors, still run by the family has extended to covering several of the main manufacturer dealerships. Living near Truro and having a Hyundai Santa Fe - I deal with the Blackwater garage, where under Nick Jaye, a dedicated group of people provide a very professional service at very reasonable prices.. Today my visit was to replace a sidelight bulb - sounds simple, but not easily accessible, and needing "professional fingers". I telephoned yesterday evening, was told what time to attend today - the vehicle was in the workshop for about 45 minutes, and returned to me having been washed and valeted inside and out. I was charged £1.50 + vat (price of the bulb) fitted FOC ! Beat that ! I have no hesitation to recommend Hawkins Motors. Very nice people to deal with !

Huge thank you to Gavin Pascoe and Martin Dymond at Hawkins Citroen/Hyundai at Blackwater. Explained my situation to exchange a car for a more economical one. The service and guidance was second to none throughout the whole process. There was no pushing from either of them to get that important sale. Although I was purchasing a used motor I was not treated any less to those purchasing a new motor. Can highly recommend this garage if you are looking for upgrading to a new or newer car. Fantastic throughout. Great little detail that my car was undercover inside and had the opportunity to drive it out of the showroom, those silly little things go a long way.

Great garage offering good quality used cars also selling brand new vehicles. The staff are good and ready to help with any advice where needed. 1st class all the way around.

The service for the vehicle it self was good, the couresty car was essential as not to waste the day waiting for the service to be completed. However the car went in with an intermittent engine fault showing, the fault code was p2137 which is something to do with the throttle pedal. This has to be cleared other wise the car can't be driven as it has no power, they were aliitle unclear about the possible causes of this fault, ranging from a new throttle pedal, to needing a new ECU, and the range in price accordingly. But before any repairs could be carried out more investigation was needed at around £89.00 plus vat per hour. Along with the service the car went in for it's MOT, it pasted with no advisory, but why are wind screen wipers so expensive £29,00 (with a discount) when you can get some from a car repair outlet beginning with H for less than £15 fitted car, don't understand .
