I ordered my car brand new in April 2022 and was able to get my hands on it in September the same year, it only took 4 1/2 months!!!! Even though they were busy, they still had the time and the patience to explain the process and went through the documents in detail. Again, thank you for everything!

I went to the dealership to look at the new Fiesta ST-line but due to the assistance of the amazing salesman "Alex" I was able to get a brand new Fiesta ST3 for just a little more than price of the ST Line. I'm writing this review after 3 weeks of my original purchase and I noticed some body panels on my car were not aligned properly Hartwell Ford have offered to fix the panels all free of charge. Went to look at a car for my niece and then due to my car being written off needed a new car for myself instead. I can not fault all the staff but especially Sonny at Hartwell Watford who rallied round to get me back on the road in such a short timescale. Although there is a Ford dealership within 2 miles of where I live I travelled from Hendon to Watford to use this dealer after my local dealer tried to sell me a car which was already sold! Amazing service from Shaz my salesman and Matthew one of the managers. They did everything they could to find me a nice car with the payments that I could afford. I looked at the car on the Sunday and picked it up the following Saturday. No problems at all, the finance was sorted out within days. My car went in for a service and mot and I was kept up to date with all the progress of the work being carried out and advised of any findings. Had a free health check done on my vehicle and was sent a video link to see the inspection being carried out. When I arrived to collect my vehicle I immediately noticed that they had given my car a clean inside and out,which I found to be a very nice surprise. Overall I'm very impressed with the level of service I have received and I will definitely be booking my car in again in the future. 5 stars from myself.

The call centre is useless. They can't even match their own website price! However, the staff in the showroom are brilliant, especially Jamie on the service desk and Robert Tearle. Robert instantly price-matched another Ford Main dealer without question. If you want the best experience, don't phone them. Visit the dealership.

My partner and I have been looking for two new cars for such a long time and we had been to so many car dealerships but we never felt like anyone actually cared for what we wanted, they only cared about the commission. We went to Hartwell Ford in Watford and met Shaz and he couldn’t of been nicer. He treated us with respect and took so much time to help find us exactly what we wanted. We didn’t feel rushed and we didn’t feel under pressure to purchase anything. He took the time to understand exactly what it was we wanted and then gave us a number of cars that fitted the criteria. First time at Hertwell Watford having my car serviced and not disappointed. I had booked for Hemel not realising Watford branch is 5 mins walk from work. Rang up and explained to Mary and got the service and MOT rebooked for Watford. Arrived as arranged, reception covid secure. Video received of walkthrough of the underneath of the car. Had a full service and MOT here on separate occasions, both of which were completed quickly and to an excellent standard. I was provided with an engineer video detailing the MOT as well as a further report breaking down the works/checks carried out. On both occasions I was kept up to date and notified by calls/messages. Was hesitant about going here due to assuming the prices would be steep but the price is fairly reasonably especially considering the high level of service and and use of genuine Ford parts. Bought my Mustang here, and with it my first ever Ford. Place looks fantastic! Also unlike most dealerships, there's actually room to manoeuvre on the outside. Ketan was a superb salesman. Considerate, understanding, tentative and honest. Was pushed fairly hard to take up Hartwell Warranty which I thought I made clear early on I wouldn't be taking out, also did not think there was a need to push PCP / HP so hard after explicitly saying I had an excellent loan rate agreed with the bank, I think the pushes were more from management, but these are minor issues really as I would expect it, since it is in the companies business to do so. The real reason for the 4 stars over 5 was communication. Having left 3 messages with various people trying to arrange handover, I did not receive any communication until the day of exchange. Overall I would highly recommend, especially Ketan. Would deal with again. Update - Went above and beyond in the end to resolve a panel alignment job with excellent results. Now a 5 Star review.

I recently puchased a new car from Hartwell Ford Watford and was very pleased from the moment I walked through the doors. I received a warm & friendly welcome from Car Salesman Clint, and also the General Sales Manager Joe, (I believe was him name). They both asked me what I was looking for rather than telling me what I should be looking at (which has happened quite a few times in the past when approaching car dealerships). They were truly interested in what I was looking to purchase, taking into consideration my budget, and expectations of the car; size, colour, engine etc... After test driving one of their vehicles, I decided to go away and think about it. Not at anytime did I feel pushed or that anyone was just trying to get rid of a car which was lovely, as I felt calm and relaxed therefore knew I would end up with the vehicle that I personally wanted - it can be very easy to get swayed into buying something that you're not 100% sure about but never did I feel this with Clint. Clint, I found was kind and chatty, didn't pressure me one bit, just simply offered me the relevant information and left it up to me. I am always a little dubious about going to car garages/dealerships as it can be somewhat intimidating for a young woman like myself but I cannot deny that Clint made me feel at ease from the word go. I ended up leaving with a vehicle which I am over the moon with! Clint wasn't just a fantastic member of staff to deal with but even after purchasing the vehicle, made sure that if I needed any further help or assistance, he was my point of contact. Took my focus there as I needed a key removed from the ignition. This service was spot on and couldnt fault the service I got. The issue lies in their free health check on my car before giving back. They sent a comprehensive list of all checks and things that needed repair or changing in the next 6 month to a year. When I took my car I to my usual MOT and service garage, I showed them this list and they said that 90% of things on there that required action was false. Some of which were break and suspension related. I feel this could be scaring people into getting unnecessary work done to their car

I bought my car in March with the Ford team at Hartwell Watford. I was a little apprehensive to go through the process of getting a new car as I find the process really stressful, and most sales teams rather pushy however from the moment I arrived at the garage (and almost ran over Joe over with my car) the team made me feel incredibly welcomed. I initially explained to Joe how I had my heart set on another car, however I’d come to just have a little look around as the garage was 2 minutes from my house. We discussed the car I liked from another garage and Joe showed me similar cars and explained how one of them was a brand new model that had just been released. At no point did any of this feel forced, or salesy, Joe instead came across with a genuine passion for the cars he was representing. I really liked the car Joe showed me, so he and Shaz worked together to quickly pull a quote together for me and then told me to go away to think about it. The team at Hartwell (especially Shaz and Matt) went over and above to help accommodate me throughout the process, staying late so that I could fit the process around my work, explaining all of the details to me that I needed to know despite being a relative novice when it comes to cars and just being incredibly pleasant and passionate throughout. Despite there being a technical issue with my new car, and there being a slight delay, Shaz and Matt kept in contact with me regularly and were always pleased to see me when I’d pop into the Garage unannounced to check up on things.
